SUDBURY, Monday, April 11, 2011 — Forest & Lawn announced today it has signed
an agreement with Grasshopper Solar Corporation of Toronto to become the official
reseller of their turn-key engineered solar systems in Northern Ontario.

Forest & Lawn, Sudbury’s premier provider of outdoor lawn care and forestry equipment
said the partnership was a strategic fit that will allow Northern Ontario residents access to
the best solar equipment in the province.“After considerable research we concluded that
Grasshopper Solar far exceeds its competitors in terms of delivering the highest rates of
return to families and businesses looking to invest in solar systems,” said Chris Laking,
owner of Forest & Lawn. “As the official reseller of Grasshopper Solar systems in
Northern Ontario, we will now be able to assist individuals looking to participate in the
Feed In Tariff program selling power back to the government and seeing returns as high
as $12,000 per year.”

Grasshopper Solar, the first and largest Canadian Company to deliver turnkey solar
power solutions for the Ontario Power Authority microFIT program was excited about
the opportunity to work with such a well established company to better reach their
Northern Ontario customers. “As we evaluated our expansion strategy, it was clear that
partnering with Chris Laking, who has run numerous businesses in the Sudbury area for

About Ontario’s FIT Program
Ontarians get paid up to 80.2¢ for each kilowatt-hour (kWh) of electricity their rooftop
Grasshopper Solar System generates or up to 64.2¢ for each kilowatt-hour (kWh) of
electricity their ground mounted Grasshopper Solar System generates. Grasshopper Solar
System owners can earn anywhere from $3,000 to $250,000+ per year for 20 years
depending on the size of the system. The rate per kWh is guaranteed for 20 years by the
Ontario Power Authority's Feed-In-Tariff (FIT) program. Ontario's program is one of the
best and highest paying FIT programs in the world.
