Those who are a part of GO! tonight will join in

projects that will help our congregation say
“We Care” to those in our congregation and city.
We will have the opportunity to work on some gifts
(hats and blankets)for those who are homeless.
There is a long list of names for us to visit.
Many are sick or can’t come to worship services, C H U R C H O F C H R I S T
but would love a friendly “hello”.
James reminds us that we should be not only be April 03, 2011
listening to the Word, but doing it also. (James 1:22-25)
Join us tonight as we GO! out to share the love of Christ.
There is much more to do, come join us tonight.

Our evening starts with a short devotional at 6 p.m.

Then at 6:30 p.m. we will review the GO! projects before breaking
out on the individual projects.

Sunday April 17, will be the first Sunday for Jimmy to preach to our congregation.
It will be a special day for our congregation as we welcome and get to know our
new pulpit minister, Jimmy Hurd and his wife Jacqui.

• Our Combined Worship Service will begin at 9:30 a.m.

• A hors d’oeuvres reception will follow thirty minutes after the worship

Invite Your Friends Easter Sunday
Sunday, April 24 is Easter Sunday, and as we begin the next chapter
at Cordova, we want to reach out to our friends and neighbors. We
would like our members to invite everyone you know to our worship
services on Easter. We will have our regular worship and Bible class
schedule. Begin considering who you would like to invite and pray
for that person/persons to accept your invitation.
And... On Saturday April 23, we will host a Easter Egg Hunt from
10 a.m. - 2 p.m. There will be an Easter Egg Hunt for children ages,
1-12 years of age. There will a lot of fun, plastic eggs and food for all.
Invite your friends and neighbors to this outreach event.
Project 680 Needs You!
“Project 680, who we have worked with in the past to collect socks
and hoodies (and who the youth-group donated their “elfing” money
too) is at it again and this time they are looking to collect 3000 pairs
of underwear for the homeless children in the Folsom-Cordova
school district; enough to provide each with a weeks worth of clean
underwear. The underwear drive will be running from April 1 to May
11; there will be a collection box in the foyer starting next Sunday,
April 10 thru Sunday, April, 17. Or you can give donations to Haley
