procurement thus assuring on-time delivery date. Technically review the vendor’s
quotations and assure the compatibility with Approved Material List & specification.
Preparation of piping documents:
o Liaise with Process Department, using their PFD, P&ID and material balance sheet
(generated from hysys) in preparing Line list
o Prepare piping special items data sheet (ex: bleed rings, key interlocks, etc)
o Prepare Pipe & Fittings MTO (refer to AutoPLANT-generated MTO and manually
check the isometric drawing)
o Liaise with E&I Engineer in preparation of Interface Connection Schedule and FAT
Pipe Stress Analysis:
o Liaise with Piping Designer to assure the piping layout/ routing is safe according to
the regulating Code
o Preparation and selection the list of Critical Line
o Selecting and positioning pipe supports
o Calculating nozzle loads for pressure vessel and pump
o Calculating the effect of pressure relieve valve’s thrust load
