DIALING
To make an outside call:
* Lift handset
* Dial "9" and the number
To make an internal call:
* Lift handset
* Dial the 4 digit extension
HOLD
To place a call on hold:
* Press the "HOLD" key
* Hang up handset
To reconnect with the call:
* Lift handset
* Press flashing "LINE" key
TRANSFER
To transfer a call to another extension:
* Press "TRANSFER" soft key
* At dial tone, dial other extension
* Announce the call
* Press "TRANSFER" soft key
To retrieve the call if no one answers:
* Press "GOODBYE" key
* Press "LINE" key
LAST NUMBER REDIAL
To attempt your last external call again:
* Lift handset
* Press "LINE" key twice
To attempt your last external call again
without lifting the handset:
* Press "LINE" key twice
CONFERENCE
To add up to 6 parties including yourself
to a current conversation:
* Press "CONF" soft key which
places the first party on hold
* At the dial tone, dial another
extension or external number
* Announce the call
* Press "CONF" soft key to join parties
If a party doesn't answer or doesn't
want to join
* Press "GOODBYE" key
* Press "LINE" key
FORWARD
To forward calls to another extension:
* At idle phone, press "FORWARD" key
* Dial the destination number
* Press "FORWARD" soft key
To cancel forwarding:
* Press "FORWARD" soft key
To reinstate the last call forwarding:
* Press "FORWARD" soft key twice
HANDS FREE / MUTE
To generate a call without lifting headset:
* Press "LINE" key or "HANDS FREE" key
To mute the mic during a conversation:
* Press "MUTE" key
To switch to hands-free mode:
* Press "HANDS FREE" key
* Hang up handset
To cancel call press "GOODBYE" and hang up
CALL PARK
To park a call in the system:
* Press "PARK" soft key
* Note 4 digit number (7980-7999)
To retrieve a parked call:
* Lift handset of any phone
* Enter 4 digit number
SPEED CALL
To set up or change speed codes for
frequently dialed numbers:
* Lift handset
* Press "SPDCTL" soft key
* Enter 2 digit speed code (00-19)
* Enter 9 area code and number
* Press "SPDCTL" soft key to store
To speed dial a number:
* Lift handset
* Press "SPDCTL" soft key
* Enter 2 digit speed code

NEW USERS - FINISH ALL STEPS BELOW

On your first log on session, you must perform the following items below:
1) Dial 3999 or press the message key on your telephone.
2) Enter your mailbox (same as your extension number), then #.
3) Enter initial password (12 + mailbox number), then press #.

Change Password (84)

1) Press 84.
2) Enter a new password, then #. Passwords must be 6 or more digits long.
3) Enter new password again, then #.
4) Enter old password again, then #.

Personal Verification (829)

1) Press 829.
2) Press 5, and then say only your name and mailbox number. (This is not your greeting).
3) Press # to end, press 4 to return to main menu.

Caller Greeting (82)

1) Press 82.
2) Select [1] External, [2] Internal or [3] Temporary Absence greeting.
3) Press 5, then record.
4) Press # to end, press 4 to return to main menu. If you made a mistake while recording
press 76 to delete what you recorded and go back to step 3.

Hint: You do not need to record both an external AND internal greeting.
If you record only one it will play for all callers.
