1. Training Delivery
‰ Training at Veraz’ Training Centers
Veraz operates Training Centers in the USA, France and Israel for the ControlSwitch,
I-Gate 4000 series and DTX (DCME) Family of products. These Training Centers are
equipped with the latest Veraz products and state-of-the-art test equipment. Our
Training Centers provide comprehensive product and industry training courses, which
combine theory and practice. All courses are available at the training centers. The
advanced level courses are all conducted at the Veraz Training Centers with few
exceptions.

‰ On-Site Training
Veraz provides training courses on a customer’s site upon request where the site meets
training course requirements. Most all of the basic level courses can be performed on-
site. These training courses are designed to enable all trainees to operate and maintain
the ControlSwitch and I-Gate 4000 series equipment.

Notes:
1. Veraz strongly recommends that the total capacity of attendees during a training
event not exceed 10 participants with the optimum number of participants being
8. This will ensure efficient training and guarantee that all attendees receive the
appropriate level of attention from the instructor.
2. When training is to be conducted at customer premises, access to the relevant
equipment is required. We can provide remote access to Veraz training
equipment under prearranged conditions but, this is not preferred.

‰ eLearning
Veraz has adopted eLearning as one of the key channels for generating, sharing, and
retaining knowledge. Veraz provides a comprehensive set of courses within our
eLearning course offering. These courses are available via an Internet access where
the learner can progress at the individual’s own pace. These courses contain periodic
assessments for the learner to realize their progress through the course. The virtual
training portal is operated by Veraz in compliance with the industry standards of AICC
and SCORM.

Veraz Operation & Maintenance Courses

Level 1 Certification

The basic courses will provide hands-on training in the operation of the Veraz systems.
Students will leave the class with the knowledge required to set basic functions of the
products, and perform basic troubleshooting. In addition to product knowledge, the
Veraz certification program will provide the participants with the basic knowledge
required to participate in the course. This pre-assigned knowledge (such as basic
routing, protocol training etc.) will be provided via eLearning programs and exams.

Certification Exam:
An exam will be a part of each course. For participants that pass the exam, a certificate
will be handed out by the end of the scheduled class period. Those who do not pass the
exam, will be given a second chance: they will be able to access an online exam within a
week. A certificate will be sent to them upon passing the exam.

Veraz strongly recommends that the total capacity of attendees during a training event not exceed
10 participants, with the optimum number of participants being 8. This will ensure efficient training
and guarantee that all attendees receive the appropriate level of attention from the instructor.
When training is to be conducted on customer premises, access to the relevant equipment is
required. We can provide remote access to Veraz training equipment under prearranged
