Senior Class Gift
Building a Foundation: A New College Tradition
Commemorate your experience at College of Charleston by participating in the Building the Foundation
Program with an engraved brick on the Stern Center Patio adjacent to Glebe Street.
By contributing $250 or more, a personalized brick will placed in the Stern Center Patio with your name
on it and special recognition as a key donor of the GOLD Society. As a Gold Society donor, your gifts are
a vote of confidence in the College of Charleston and demonstrate an annual commitment to make the
College a philanthropic priority. Gifts have the power to help today’s students define their own College
of Charleston experience. GOLD Society donors enjoy an annual reception with campus leadership and
opportunities throughout the year for networking with peers.
At the $75 donor level, you may designate a brick to be engraved with your name and class year, or you
may make the inscription in honor of, or in memory of, a family member or faculty member who made
your experience at the College memorable.
Please join the rest of the Class of 2011 in leaving our legacy on College’s campus. Each donation
includes a personalized brick, plus a 15% gift to the College’s Fund to benefit and support the College of
Charleston Foundation.
College of Charleston Fund
The College of Charleston Fund is the primary channel for donors to support the core values of the
College and its greatest assets – academic excellence, student‐focused community and power of place in
the Lowcountry.
With a gift to the College of Charleston Fund, you support:
1. Student scholarships that guarantee a transformative College of Charleston education.
2. Exceptional faculty focused on student success.
3. Leadership, networking and volunteer opportunities for our alumni.
4. Visionary initiatives set forth in the College’s “Gateways to Greatness” strategic plan.
Your gift makes a direct impact on the people, programs and places that define a College of Charleston
education. No other university has the unique combination of the College of Charleston’s exceptional
faculty, diverse programs, coastal location, modern facilities and cutting‐edge learning experiences.
A gift to the College of Charleston is a vote of confidence in what the College has been, what it is, and
what it will be.
