Everything will be workable this year. At least the agile Monkey will not give up before trying every
angle. There will be success even in impossible ventures, there will be inventions and improvisations
galore. Politics, diplomacy, high finance and business will be engaged in one big poker game with
everyone trying to outbluff each other. A rather amusing and exciting time in which everyone will
be given the opportunity to try his hand at the game. No direct confrontation here, as the Monkey
is one who can laugh off his mistakes and improve his bargaining prowess in the next round.

This is a year that will find us all trying to get a better deal by outsmarting the other man. It his hard
to keep track of who is winning, as the right hand has no idea of what the left hand us up to. One
thing is for sure, this will be an extremely progressive time. We will all steam ahead, and even if
we do not apply ourselves to the utmost, we will be carried forward by the surging tide of the
Monkey's natural talent for learning and advancement.

The lucky imp of a Monkey who rules this year will urge us to gamble, speculate and exploit risky
but ingenious options. If you are quick on the draw, this year will yield huge dividends. It is definitely
not a year for the faint-hearted or slow-witted. The Monkey gives no concessions and asks none
in return. If there is a recession, the year of the Monkey will quickly put an end to it. Business will
skyrocket under his optimistic and shrewd influence. The Monkey's resourcefulness will amaze
and confound everyone.

It is very interesting to note that America was born in the year of the Fire Monkey, 1776. Perhaps
this explains her phenomenal growth and fantastic achievements within such a short span of time.

It is said that the Monkey's year will bring many new and unconventional ways of doing things. The
motto of this year should be: "Don't take No for an answer!"

 WHEN TO EXPECT A REVERSAL: On the day an aspect
occurs, or up to two days on either side of it, look for a
reversal of the price. This is a general rule. Some
commodities respond with greater speed - others
occasionally take up to three days to reverse. This can
also depend upon the type of reversal. For example: Long
term reversals are slower and can be the roll-over or
gradual reversal type with pumping action or congestion,
whereas short term reversals can react with more speed
and quickly move in the opposite direction.
WHEN ENERGY DAYS FALL ON THE WEEKEND:
Look for reversals to take place on Thursday/Friday or
Monday/Tuesday; however, in these cases, Friday and
Monday are the most likely.
WHEN SEVERAL ENERGY DAYS FALL
TOGETHER: When many aspects form over a one to two
week period, more often than not a pumping action or
congestion sets up. In retrospect, the pumping or
congestion will have formed a top or a bottom, but of the
roll-over kind rather than the V reversal type.
The actual high or low may form at the middle point
of the aspects. The breakout from the congestion often
occurs at end of the series of aspects.
WHAT TO DO ON A REVERSAL DAY: Use your favorite
technical tools to take a position if you see a reversal
setting up from two days before to two days after the
planetary aspect. Once in a position, monitor it as you
normally would.
HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR PROFITS: Planetary reversal
dates are most successfully used with a reliable technical
trading system, this is a most important point that I can't
stress often enough. By reliable technical trading system,
I mean one that gives specific entry, exit and stop points in
the market. Planetary reversal dates generally operate
over a 3 day period (i.e. the day before, of, or after).
Without a reliable entry/exit/stop system, you may find
yourself getting in too early (if reversal comes on the 3rd
day) and have the market go significantly against you
(possibly being stopped out at a loss), only to find that the
market moves in your favor the next day. The same is true
regarding the exit of a position. You may find you have
taken the position off too early, at less than the maximum
profit, if you do not use a reliable technical method of exit.
Two technical systems I highly recommend are
Symmetrics and the Fibonacci Price Point System. Both
of these technical systems follow the natural rhythms of
the markets and at the same time enable the trader to have
excellent entry/exit signals and close stops for minimal
loss and good money management.
If you have a good technical system that makes
money reliably, you may be wondering why you need to
have planetary information too. It is the combination of the
best of both worlds that makes a good thing better.
Planetary reversal dates can confirm the trade and give
greater confidence in the trade. Planetary aspects also
add energy and momentum to market moves, enabling the

trader to more effectively pick which trades he/she would
like to add more contracts to and, with the knowledge that
the market is likely to reverse in a certain time frame, be
better prepared.
Remember, you are simply adding the Astro-
timing to your tool kit. If you have no special tools, we offer
a few simple ones that may be of use to you. These tools
are explained along with the graphs and charts provided
throughout the calendar.
This Almanac is not intended as a trading system.
Whatever you do in the market must be your own choice.
We simply give timing ideas for your testing and show how
these energies have worked in the past. Obviously, we
cannot guarantee that the planetary energies will perform
in the future with the same regularity that they have in the
past.
MERCURY RETROGRADE PERIODS: Mercury
retrograde periods and Moon Void of Course periods
have many similar qualities, but the main one is that
nothing tends to come of things started during these
periods.
The major difference is that Moon Void of Course
periods last from a few minutes to several hours and the
time period constantly varies, whereas Mercury is always
retrograde for approximately three full weeks, making
this a long period to avoid dealing with important matters.
Mercury rules communication, information, education,
paper work, contracts and agreements, mailings, travel,
speaking, writing, and thinking. One can therefore see
that opening brokerage accounts, and signing or mailing
account papers during this time does not bode well for
successful trading with that broker. Unless, of course,
you were born with mercury retrograde in your own
personal horoscope , this is one of your best times of the
year.
Mercury is retrograde approximately three times
per year, sometimes four. The graph on the bottom of
page 3 quickly shows the Mercury retrograde periods
each year, and the box above the graph gives the exact
dates throughout the year.
In general, these periods are low key times,
best used to take care of routine matters and ongoing
matters. Avoid making travel plans for future dates,
unless of course, you want them to fall through anyway.
Avoid starting trading your account for the first
time or starting anything important related to trading or
business. Especially avoid starting litigation, as it will go
on forever and never bring the results you set out to
achieve.
Do not start business partnerships or hire new
employees during these periods either, as they never
pan out.
It is especially vital to avoid making important
investments during a Mercury retrograde period, while
the Moon at the same time is Void of Course. This
double whammy can certainly be the "kiss of death" to
successful results (unless as mentioned before, you are
a Mercury retrograde person).

The Sun is the center of our Solar System with
its family of planets revolving around it. Although the
Sun appears large and brilliant to us, it is (along with
its family) only a very small part of the galaxy.
The planets closest to the Sun (Mercury, Venus,
Earth and Mars) are called the "inner" planets, while
the giant planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune)
are called the "outer" planets. Pluto is also in the
"outer" planet grouping, but in size it is smaller than
Earth. There is a very large gap between the inner
and outer planets in which thousands of small Asteroids
are orbiting (sometimes called minor planets).
The planets all move around the Sun in the
same direction. Their orbits are on approximately the
same plane as Earth, within 3°, except for Mercury
and Pluto. Mercury has a tilt of 7°, while Pluto has an
exceptionally sharp inclination of 17 degrees. The
orbits of the planets take the form of wide-angle
eclipses, but when drawn on a small scale, appear as
circles. Pluto, however, is the exception with an
eccentric orbit which at certain periods moves inside
the orbit of Neptune.
Mercury and Venus are closer to the Sun than
is Earth; they are known as "inferior" planets. Mars
and the outer planets are farther from the Sun than is
Earth; they are called "superior" planets.
The Moon is a satellite of Earth. Although it
appears large to us, it is relatively small when compared
to the other members of the Solar System.
GEOCENTRIC VIEW
THE GEOCENTRIC VIEW: Geocentric is from the
Greek words gaia, which means Earth, and Kentron,
meaning center. When we look at the planets from
here on Earth, they appear to be in entirely different
positions than where they are when viewed from the
Sun. Even the Sun appears to be moving around us
when actually it is the Earth which orbits the Sun. The
planetary positions in relation to Earth are just as
important as their position in relation to the Sun, as
you will soon see when using both positions as signals
for market reversals.

LOSING DEGREES
FOR TRADING
As traders, a
tremendous
amount of study is demanded of us constantly.
Once we get to a certain point of understanding of
the markets and learn or develop a winning trading
system that puts the odds in our favor, the next
crucial step is when our real work begins. This
step involves the practical application of what we
have learned or the real life experience we gain
from trading our system. This is why knowledge
alone is not power at all. It’s taking the right actions
based on what we know that matters. This step
may take a number of years of practice to gain the
experience and develop the right habits as
successful traders. The reason this stage takes
so long is that we begin to have a close encounter
with ourselves. We get to know who we truly are
inside. This includes all of our psychological and
emotional strengths and weaknesses. I believe
another one of the essential components of
knowing ourselves has to do with understanding
our own individual astrological natal chart. This
leads to an understanding that own winning and
losing periods in the markets are also based on
predictable astrological cycles.
I remember a trip that was made to Las
Vegas a little over a year ago. I am not a big
gambler and have no system for gambling other
than just playing the slots, (where the odds are
against me), but only at specific time periods when
I am usually in a winning astrological cycle. I almost
always come home a winner following this
discipline. This trip was no exception. I planned
out the time periods, some stronger than others,
that I will play. This requires tremendous discipline
to work since the temptation to play all the time is
being beamed at you. The same kind of discipline
is necessary to trade the markets successfully. We
have to be patient and let the winning trades come
to us based on the right conditions. I noted that

the best time period this trip was when the Moon
was to cross over my Jupiter in combination with
other winning transits on one evening. Not only did
I end up winning the largest amount of the whole
trip during this time period, but so were the family
members that were with me as well. As soon as
the Moon began to hit 19 _ degrees of Taurus, and
began to form a stressful square to my Saturn, I
noticed things started to cool off. I started to begin
to lose more than I was winning at the slots. After
giving a little back, I decided to quit and come home
a winner. If I had continued to play, I honestly
believe I would have given it all back and then
some. My cycles turned negative for gambling the
following day before coming home, so once again
I had to discipline myself to not gamble at all on
this day. It was quite a challenge, but managed to
do other things in the land of entertainment.
In my own trading, I have observed the
same repeating cycles over and over again for
winning and losing. These are based on what I
refer as “winning and losing degrees for trading.”
If you are a day trader, watch the Moon. You don’t
have to take my word for it. Do a back test of your
winning and losing trades and make a note of the
exact degree of the Moon. You will notice that the
majority of the time, you win or lose in the markets
when the Moon hits these same degrees.
Since no trading system is perfect, there will
always be times when it just doesn’t work out the
way we were anticipating. I remember another
particular day I was in a winning trade. The Moon
was at 28 – 29 degrees of Gemini and was forming
a trine to my progressed planets at late degrees of
Aquarius. I trade off of reversals at the daily
planetary price harmonics (planetary lines) that I
determine each day. I trade on both sides of the
market. I closed out my long for a profit and went
short at the correct time and price point. The trade
began to go as planned, but then suddenly reversed

 sharply for a small loss. I gave back most of my
gains for the day because I forgot to check that the
Moon’s entrance into Cancer at 00 – 01 degrees
was at a losing degree for me. The Moon formed a
square to my progressed Saturn. And so it is. These
cycles re-occur continually. It pays to know your
own chart and cycles for winning and losing.
Relative performance: There is such a thing
as relative performance when trading your system
based on your winning and losing trading degrees
or transits. I have seen some traders, who are very
experienced, exceptional traders actually win at
times during their own losing periods. Fortunately,
just because you may be in a losing trading cycle,
doesn’t mean you have to lose. It can also simply
mean that you will probably under perform during
this time period. This can mean you make gains
that are less than usual or you that you have actual

losses. In either case, it pays to know about your
own personal trading cycles. This can make a
dramatic difference in your results if you integrate
this knowledge with your other trading disciplines.

Stocks that are in a sector that is doing well
tend to outperform other stocks that are in groups
that are not doing. Therefore, it is worthwhile to look
at the year ahead to determine which groups will do
better than others. We are able to do this
astrologically using the symbolism of planets in signs.
When Jupiter is in any of the signs by element
(fire, earth, air and water), these sectors seem to
flourish and be in favor. Stock prices are high, and
the industry does well. When Saturn is in any of the
signs by element, these sectors seem to lag and lose
favor. Stock prices drop and the industry suffers.
When Jupiter is in a Fire (Aries, Leo &
Sagittarius) sign, these sectors generally do well:
Basic materials (steel, copper, platinum, etc.)
sector, the military & defense sector, fashion,
children's clothing, jewelry, accessories, upscale
hotels, gaming, entertainment, sports and import/
export businesses.
When Jupiter is in a Earth (Taurus, Virgo &
Capricorn) sign, these sectors generally do well:
Banking, insurance, lending, investing, food,
restaurants, discount stores, practical clothing,
cleaning, environmental, construction, home
repair, building supplies companies.
When Jupiter is in a Air (Gemini, Libra &
Aquarius) sign, these sectors generally do well:
Autos, newspapers, educational services,
transportation, railroad, airlines, beauty supplies,
interior decorating, technology, space and the
Internet.
When Jupiter is in a Water (Cancer, Scorpio
& Pisces) sign, these sectors generally do well:
Home building and furnishings, food,
preservation services, healthcare,
pharmaceuticals, oil and petroleum companies.
Usually within 3 weeks of a planet's ingress
into a new sign, there is a noticeable shift in the
ratings of the sectors, moving up or down in ranking.
Example: Food & Restaurant stocks
began moving ahead July 2001 as Jupiter entered
Cancer. Home Building stocks had already
moved ahead a few months earlier. These sectors
stayed in the top 10 sectors throughout the
Jupiter in Cancer cycle. The Leo sectors, Gaming/
Leisure Products, and High-End Retail, started

moving up ahead of the Jupiter in Leo ingress
by several months and continued to top the list
of favored sectors until Jupiter left Leo. Medical-
Generic Drugs as a sector have moved ahead to
the top of the favored sector list several months
ahead of Jupiter’s ingress into Virgo.
Jupiter in Virgo (Aug. 28, 2003 – Sept. 24,
2004) favors healthcare, medicine-generic drugs,
nursing homes, discount stores, unions, tools,
supplies, auto parts, pollution control, dry goods
stores, sewing supplies, fabric, dressmaker, textiles,
apparel, the environment and educational services.
Jupiter in Libra (Sept. 24, 2004 – Oct. 26, 2005)
favors cosmetics, toiletries & fragrances, jewelry, fine
arts, flowers, florists, sugar, co-ruler of wheat
(commodities) and partnerships.
Difficulties occur in sector favorability when
Saturn enters a sign. Example: Saturn in Cancer
(June 5, 2003 – July 16, 2005) indicates limitations
in the housing market (end of the home building
bubble), food and food product stocks, home product
and restaurant stocks.

Now that we have determined which groups,
sectors and industries we expect to do well, we can
begin looking for individual stocks in those groups.
Always begin your search with good solid
companies. Fundamental Analysis is the analysis
of industries or companies based on sales, assets,
earnings, goods or services, markets and
management. The following companies are in
favored sectors and have good fundamentals: Bio-
Rad Labs, Boston Scientific, IDEXX Labs, St.
Jude Medical, Varian Medical Systems, Inc.,
Zimmer Holdings, Inc. Corinthian Colleges,
Career Education, ITT Educational Services,
Strayer Education, University of Phoenix Online.
Dollar General, Dollar Tree Stores, Fred’s, Family
Dollar Stores, K-Swiss, Best Buy, and Ross
Stores.
Next look at Technical Analysis, which
analyses the market as a whole and/or individual
securities based on supply and demand. Items taken
into consideration include price movements, volume
trends and chart patterns.
And last, apply Planetary Cycle Analysis to
decide what and when to Buy and Sell your stock.
Fundamental and technical analysis tells you
which stocks to buy and planetary cycle analysis
tells you when as well as what to buy.
To find the best stocks in our referred groups,
we use Jeanne Long's Galactic Stock Trader software
program, setting the time frame to Jan. 1, 2003
through Jan. 1, 2004. Select the favored groups to
find stocks in those groups that will have favorable
transits in the year ahead with as few negative
transits. Select Jupiter transits to Sun, Venus, Jupiter,
Uranus, and Pluto in multiples of 60 degrees. To find
negative transits, run a search in the same time frame
and same groups with transiting Saturn, Neptune and
Pluto to all the planets at 90 degrees multiples.
Next, look through the list of stocks with
multiple Jupiter transits preferably to Sun, Venus,
Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto and few or no Saturn,
Neptune and Pluto transits. The most negative
combination of transits is Saturn square Mars,
Neptune or Pluto.

When Is It Time To Buy The Favored Sectors?
Each new cycle has several sectors that start early,
some are on time and some ‘late-bloomers’ and
some never get off the ground. Gaming started early
in its cycle two years ago and held throughout the
Jupiter in Leo cycle. The Medical-Generic Drugs
moved up early in spring of last year and look like
they will continue well into the Virgo cycle. This is
where technical analysis comes in. Look for the
group Relative Strength to be above 80, which is an
indicator that the sector in moving ahead. Also, look
for stocks in those sectors with the highest EPS on
the most volume of trading, and Relative Strength
of over 80. Return on Equity should be over 17%
and sales should average over 25% over the last 4
quarters. You are now ready to purchase.
From Jupiter In Virgo To Jupiter In Libra
Generally at the end of a cycle, we remove those
stocks from our Recommended List in our Astro
Economics Stock Market Newsletter that are part of
the ending favored sectors. When the Jupiter in Virgo
cycle ends however, several of the Virgo (textiles,
apparel) sectors will continue to prosper into the Libra
cycle. When one cycle is still effective into the next
cycle and this does not happen often, stocks that
overlap will not need to be sold. They can continue
to be held with stops.
Buying And Selling Strategies
Always have a buying and selling strategy. As soon
as you make a purchase, put a stop of 8% below
the stock price purchase. This protects you from a
big loss if the stock starts to fall. As your stock moves
up, protect your profits by placing a 15% stop on it
and continue to raise the stop as the stock rises.
Following this rule, you protect both your profits and
reduce losses. You can always buy back a stock you
were ‘stopped out of’ when it again starts to move in
the right direction. Can you imagine a better
scenario if more people had used this rule when
technology stocks began to drop in October
2000? Stocks in the favored sectors often are up in
price even when the market is having a down days.
However, when the stock you have identified as solid
and fit the current cycle has a pullback, it should be
your first choice when considering a purchase.
Remember, when you purchase a stock, put an 8%
stop on it and as the price moves up, move your
stop to 15% below the high price. Always protect
your profits and minimize losses with a stop.

W.D.Gann spent all his life studying cycles
and numbers. Gann was a financial astrologer, a
Freemason and studied the bible to decipher cycles.
Gann made large amounts of money trading,
gambling on the horse races and playing the Cuban
lottery.
Gann was a Shriner which is a name applied
to the “Ancient Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic
Shrine” He also was a member of the “Order of the
Magi” in Chicago. As well as being a member of the
“Mark Twain Society” (the pen name of “Samuel
Langbourne Clemens”) who also was a Freemason.
Gann said to “Buenos Aires Herald” (21/3/
1935) that he has records of grain dating back 1000
years and cotton records nearly 400 years. The
former, he was able to gather the most accurate
information from old British records whilst in his
search for cotton cycles he visited Egypt and India.
His third wife died around 1996. Gann died in
1955. She was 35 and Gann was around 65 when
they were married. A close friend of mine visited her
and she stated “one day Gann went to the races and
she received a phone call late one night saying could
you come and pick up your husband as we fear for
his life, he has made so much money it is bursting
out of his pockets”.
Some people say he died broke. I don’t
believe this to be true, as taxes were well over 80%
in the 40’s and 50’s and he most likely left his money
in Cuba. You can’t have an office on Wall Street for
40 years employing 9 staff, own two planes and be
earning no money. Gann was quoted in a number of
newspapers that he used the planes to inspect crops;
this is highly unlikely as he new in advance what the
market was doing. This is proven in “Tunnel thru the
air” were he forecast the exact top and price of cotton
on the 8th September 1927 at 24.40 (page 196), also
check page 208 of “How to make profits in
Commodities” for the exact time and price. He also
forecast that the stock exchange would close due to
panic selling on the 3rd October 1931, the low was
on the 5th October and the market rallied from 85.51
to a high of 119.15 on the 9th November 1931 as
predicted in “Tunnel thru the air” on page 321 to 323.
The book was published on the 9th May 1927. It was
possible that the planes were a tax deduction and he

flew the money he made to South American bank
account.
Anyone who is a Freemason understands
that it is a secret society and knowledge is passed
on through rituals and symbolism. It is only the
initiated few of the highest order that would
understand anything of ancient geometry and
astronomy, being two of the several liberal arts. The
seven liberal arts stand for each of the seven ancient
planets being Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Sun,
Mercury and Moon.
Saturn is the master of the lodge and the
other planets are allocated to the other positions in
the lodge. You cannot have a lodge meeting unless
you have a least seven people attending. Lodge
meetings in the past were conducted on every new
moon, although today it is not practical, therefore
they are run on a nominated day of the week once a
month.
The USA independence was set up
astrologically by 57 men, 56 of whom were
Freemasons and it was set up on the 4th July 1776
for a specific reason. 56 is also twice 28 which is
mentioned in the following pages. A large number
of the US Presidents have been Freemasons.
The 4th of July is 120 degrees from the 4th
March and the 4th of November. In the past the
President was elected on the 4th of November but
never took office until the 4th of March making up
the triangle. If you have studied history you would
also know that the Federal Government never
became effective until the 4th March 1789 exactly
13 years after American Independence was
declared.
The US 1 dollar bill is also coded i.e., there
is an eagle holding 13 arrows in 1 claw and there is
a branch of 13 leaves in the other claw. There are
13 stars above the eagles head and 13 stripes on
the eagle’s breast totalling 52, which represents the
weeks in a year. There was originally 13 States of
America. The eagle is represented by the
astrological sign of Scorpio.
Gann never got on with his son and his son
didn’t believe in astrology. His son John was born in
1915 with Merury, Saturn, Pluto conjunction all
square Gann’s natal Saturn. They would have argued

 all the time and that’s why John discredited his father.
His son used to sit in Gann’s office making paper
planes and tossing them out the window. Therefore,
Gann didn’t believe his son warranted receiving the
knowledge he had gained over 50 years of
researching, therefore all the knowledge went to his
grave except for the small amount he passed on
through coded works. .
A lot of Gann’s astrology was coded or
masked by the use of numbers and this is evident in
the cycles in the commodity and stock courses as
well as the two books titled
“ The Tunnel Thru The Air” and the “Magic Word”.
How Gann coded astrological cycles with
numbers:
90 year cycle = 3 Saturn Cycles of 29.56 years, which
equal 88.68 years 2 synodic cycles of Saturn/Uranus
which are 45.36 years. This equals 90.72 years.
The 82 to 84 year cycle is the Uranus cycle of 84.02
years.
The 60 years cycle is 2 Saturn cycles or 3 Jupiter/
Saturn synodic cycles. The 58.92 years and 59.58
years respectively.
49 to 50 year cycle is Uranus changing 7 zodiac signs
of 7 years each.
45 year cycle is the Saturn/Uranus cycle of 45.36
years.
30 year cycle is the Saturn cycle of 29.56 years.
20 year cycle is the Jupiter/Saturn synodic cycle of
19.86 years
15 year cycle is half the Saturn cycle.
10 year cycle is half the Jupiter/Saturn synodic cycle.
9 year cycle is half the node cycle of 18.6 years.
7 year cycle is Uranus changing one sign of the zodiac
or a movement of 30 degrees.
5 year cycle is 1/6 of the 30 year cycle or 1/4 of the
20 year cycle.
The 1 year cycle is the movement of the earth around
the sun.

If you are looking for large cycles to coincide
with major lows or highs exactly 60 or 90 years ago,
then you are deluding yourself. The key is to know
when the smaller cycles are lining up with the larger
cycles. The larger cycles create the condition and
the smaller cycles like Mars create the trigger. The
large cycles can force the smaller cycles to “flip flop”
or reverse. This is why you might see the smaller
cycle go low, low, high or high, high, low etc.
When you have data of less than 30 years
you then need to know which charts to draw and
from where to run the geometric angles. Data of
less than 30 years means you need to look at
economic and weather conditions to give you an
overall trend for the future.
Usually in a recession, depression or boom
most commodities top or bottom within two years of
each other. Most commodities go back more than
30 years and the major stocks also go back over 20
years. These types of markets, with the longer term
data are the ones to forecast and trade, i.e. wheat,
corn and coffee.
The geometric angles are a moving average
of price and time and therefore, are much more useful
than any other indicators utilised in today’s modern
trading. The reason being that geometric angles can
be projected into the future whereas all other systems
are lagging indicators and are based on price only.
The geometric angle works best on weekly and
monthly charts as they keep you with the trend when
drawn correctly.
On daily chart the geometric angles are
crossed frequently and therefore changes in the
trend often occur. They are useful only as entry
into the market when trading with the main trend.
Gann was born in the very strong bible belt
of Texas. This is the reason he coded astrology
with numbers, because the bible is coded
astrologically and conforms to numerical principles.
The “The Tunnel Thru The Air” or looking
back from 1940 is completely coded in numbers and
astrology. Some examples of astrology in “The
Tunnel Thru The Air” are:
On page 50 Ezekiel 1: 4-16:
“As for the likeness of their faces, they four
had the face of a man, and the face of a lion
on the right side; and they four had the face
of an ox on the left side; they four also had
the face of an eagle.”

 This is represented in the Bible by the 12 tribes of The three days and three nights represents
144,000 men to each tribe: for the apparent standing still of the Sun as viewed
Judah Leo Sun = Lion from the Earth which occurs between the 22nd and
Naphatli Virgo Mercury 25th of December each year. Jesus was not born
Asher Libra Venus on the 25th of December, this is the first day that the
Dan Scorpio Mars = Eagle Sun’s apparent moves north in the northern
Reuben Sagittarius Jupiter hemisphere (middle of winter). There is a symbolic
Gad Capricorn Saturn ritual in Freemasonry when a Mason is raised to the
Simon-Levi Aquarius Saturn = Man 3rd degree where symbolically you are lifted from
Benjamin Pisces Jupiter the body of the earth in darkness. The 3 degrees
JosephAries Mars represents the 3 days when the sun stands still.
Manasseh Taurus Venus = Ox
Zebulun Gemini Mercury “No sign shall be given, but the sign of the
Issachar Cancer Moon prophet Jonas.”

The lion, eagle, man and the ox are the fixed cross of “I believe there is a secret meaning in what
the zodiac or represent the 45, 135, 225 and 315 he said; the son (sun) of man be three days
degrees of a circle. and three nights in the heart of the earth.”

On page 66 Robert Gordon states:
“I believe in the stars, I believe in astrology
and I have figured out my destiny.”
On page 77 Robert Gordon states:
“ It is just as easy to figure out 100 years or
1000 years into the future as one or two years
ahead, if you have the correct starting point
and know the cycle which is going to be
repeated.”
On page 78 Robert Gordon states:
“It is not my aim to explain the causes of
cycles. The general public is not yet ready
for it and probably would not understand it or
believe it if I explained it.”
“In every law of nature there is a major and a
minor; a positive, a negative, and a neutral.
Therefore, in cycles there must be a lesser, a
greater and intermediate cycle, or cycles
within cycles. Like Ezekiel says: “Wheel
within a wheel.”
There are numerous biblical quotes in “The
Tunnel Thru The Air”, anyone who has studied the
bible knows that this book is also a mask for astrology.
For example page 69 in “The Tunnel Thru the
Air” “For as Jonas was three days and three nights in
the whales’ belly; so shall the Son (Sun) of man be
three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”
Jesus died on the cross, the cross
representing the four main cardinal points of the
zodiac, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn or the
four seasons of the year. Aries being the start of
the spring season in the northern hemisphere is the
commencement of growth and this begins on the
21st of March each year. At the death of every cycle
a new one commences and this is what is
represented by Jesus dying on the cross.
Seven is a number used throughout “The
Tunnel Thru The Air”.
WD Gann was born on the 6th June 1878
and Robert Gordon was born on the 9th June 1906.
This is 28 years apart or 4 x 7 years. The time
between 1878 and the year he published the book
in 1927, is 49 years, 7 x 7 years. The difference
between 1906 and 1927 is 21 years, 3 x 7 years.
The book title has 36 letters leaving out 1940. If you
convert 1940 to letters you have 49 letters, again 7
x 7.
There are 36 chapters as well. The original
dust cover has 16 planes, not scales, hourglass and
compass etc. This is a cover Billy Jones created
who purchased the Gann material off Lambert-Gann
in the 70s. The square, circle and triangle is not a
Gann emblem, but is a Masonic symbol. You need
also to study the original dust cover.
Without decoding the whole book, Chapter
7 is called “future cycles” and it starts on page 75.
There are 418 pages to the book. 418 minus 75
equals 343, 7 x 7 x 7. Anyone who knows astrology
knows that 343 is half a Mars cycle.
There are a lot of clues that Gann used
astrology, but I will reveal the two charts in one,

 Gann’s birth date (6/6/1878) and two, the date that
The Tunnel Thru The Air” was written (9/5/1927). Two
of the major planets Jupiter and Uranus on the 9th
May 1927 conjunct (zero degrees) Gann’s Saturn.
Also Saturn trines Gann’s Saturn (120 degrees).
Neptune conjuncts Gann’s Uranus and Moon
conjuncts Gann’s Moon.
“The Tunnel Thru The Air” is a love story for
the masses however, but Neptune being the planet
of illusion and conjuncting Gann’s Uranus reveals that
there is more to this book than being a novel.
“The Magic Word” Jehovah is Hebrew and is
a great and sacred name. It is written JHVH. The
correct pronunciation is JOD-HAV-VAU-HAV and has
a numeric value of 10-6-5-6 or 1656. 1656 is the
total number of years of the patriarchs. The Hebrews
used gematria for the conversion of letters to
numbers.

full and comprehensive understanding of the
mysteries of WD Gann’s work requires a lifetime
commitment to study and research. If you are not
studying astrology when studying the Gann method,
then you are only completing part of the research.
Modern astrology doesn’t work; you will need to study
ancient astrology.
It is not my aim to disclose twenty four years
of research, but to give you an introduction to the
authentic methods of WD Gann.
The methods I utilise are more for position
trading rather than day trading which allows for further
research and study on WD Gann’s methods.
The wise man rules his star’s and the fool obeys

 Synchronicity and Fibonacci

Why do we talk about “Fibonacci” in a
“trader’s astrological” almanac? Well, astrological
cycles are “natural” and these cycles repeat
themselves. Fibonacci cycles are also “natural” and
there are Fibonacci patterns that repeat themselves
both in nature AND the marketplace. Knowledge of
these patterns along with these “Fibonacci price
relationships” can provide a significant advantage to
the trader (as astrological cycles do??).
There are different methodologies as far as
applying “Fibonacci” to the market. My method uses
the meaningful coincidence (synchronicity) of the
Fibonacci “ratios” applied to the key highs and lows
on both the “time and price” axis of the market. The
ratios used in this analysis are derived from the
Fibonacci # series (1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89,
144, 233… etc). These ratios include: .382, .50, .618,
.786, 1.00, 1.272 and 1.618. I take these ratios and
run key Fibonacci price retracements, price

extensions and price “projections” from the key swing
highs and lows on a particular chart. Then I look for
the “confluence” of these ‘natural’ relationships.
As far as “price” is concerned, a “trade setup”
occurs when we see a healthy coincidence of
Fibonacci price relationships (three or more) that
come together within a relatively tight range. This
coincidence identifies a key support or resistance
decision for a possible trade entry. This price
“clustering” effect occurs over and over in the market.
The key to trading successfully with it, comes from
using a “filter” to determine which price clusters to
consider a trade against. Let’s take a look at a recent
example here:
The following chart is a 15-minute mini-
Nasdaq contract. In this chart I found a healthy
coincidence of price relationships which indicated
potential support. Note there was a .786 retracement
of the 1387.00 swing low to the 1411.50 swing high

(blue line) , a 1.272 price extension of the 1395.00
swing low to the 1409.50 swing high (green line) and
a 100% projection of the 1411.50 swing high to the
1395.00 swing low projected from the 1409.50 swing
high (red line). This pointed me towards the 1391-93
area to watch for potential support and a trade entry.
Once this key support zone was tested and held, we
started to look for a “filter or trigger” to tell us to enter
the trade. Our initial maximum risk was defined as
just below the extreme of the cluster support at the
1391 level (two or three ticks below it would have
been an adequate stop loss order).
As you can see from this chart, a low was
made at the 1393 level which was directly within the
price “cluster” zone. A healthy rally followed this low.
Any of your personal favorite oscillators will work as
“filters” for setup confirmation for these types of high
probability support/resistance cluster zones. My
favorite “FILTER” for entry against my “Fibonacci
work” is the “Commodity Channel Index” or “CCI”.
In this example, the CCI is hooking back from
“oversold” territory and breaks a trend line on the
oscillator itself for your entry trigger.
The example above is only one of many that
occur during the trading day. Not all price cluster
zones hold. A good filter such as CCI will keep you
out of zones that are less likely to produce positive
results, but even when it does not work, the risk
parameters are extremely well defined which is very
important when it comes to money management.
Although this type of work may look a bit confusing
to a newcomer, it actually is NOT difficult to apply
yourself. It works just as well on the “time axis” of
the market to predict changes in trend, but I will leave
that topic for a future article.

Many of you ask us what astro cycles are the most
important. Frankly, the answer is difficult. We
believe strongly that planetary cycles hold the key
to market prediction. However, you don’t need a
“Holy Grail” to make money in the markets. All that
is needed is a trading edge. The combination of
cycles and pattern recognition give you that edge!
My interest in astrology started in the early 1970’s
with the works of WD Gann and George Bayer.
After my experiences with the “silver” lady’s 19
straight wins at Drexel Burnham it became
apparent that something significant was present
in the planetary phenomenon.
In 1986 Dr. Ruth Miller started me on my search
for planetary cycles. She started with the Venus-
Uranus aspects and the Mercury conjunct (0
degrees) Sun (Combust) as reported by TG
Butaney in ‘Forecasting Prices’. What follows are
my favorite cycles buy they are not listed in their
order of importance because I am not sure of their
importance. The do work far more than they fail!
The Bradley Stock Market cycle gives indications
of the key trading dates for the stock market as
well as the shorter-term trend of the market. It is
based on using planetary pairs with each pair
having a positive or negative bias. Donald Bradley
wrote “Stock Market Predictions’ in 1947 and its
very, very hard to disprove the effects of planetary
cycles on the stock market. Use of the Bradley
Model should be limited to the short-term trend
and the trading dates. It is not too useful for price
levels. Pattern recognition and swing ratio analysis
is helpful in this area.
The Pesavento Index shows the statistical

deviation from the normal number of aspects
shown from the daily aspectarian. The average
number of aspects in the sky each day is eight.
Whenever there are thirteen or more or three or
less on that date a Pesavento Index date is
present. These dates have a high probability of a
trend change. There are only a few each year.
The index was named by Frank Tauscher for the
Supertraders Almanac. Dr. Ruth Miller gave me
the idea and she insisted that the index be named
after me.
“Combust” is the Mercury conjunct (0 degrees)
Sun as reported by TG Butaney in ‘Forecasting
Prices’. This occurs about four times each year. It
is extremely accurate (within 2 days) and is quite
strong giving important cycle highs and lows.
Pattern recognition is necessary to determine
price levels.
The Venus-Uranus aspects are one of my
personal favorites. Although they are short term
they work remarkably well and are very accurate!
This aspect was tested over 2000 cycles to
determine its accuracy. We only look at the 90-
degree aspects -–conjunction 0 degrees, square
90 degrees, opposition 180 degrees.
The lunar phenomenon is probably the most
widely known of any planetary cycle because you
can visually see it in the sky. Full and New Moons
as well as the lunar and solar eclipses can have
dramatic effects on the market at various times.
Remember that these are all probability-based
cycles and must be treated as such. Nothing will
work without good money management
regardless of bull or bear markets!

 Discipline - Essential For
Trading Success

What does discipline have to do with trading?
Simply stated, trading is all about managing
risks. Only a person who takes risks can be
free. The key is to take risks when they are
manageable; not when the risk can lead to
catastrophic consequences.
Being disciplined in your trading can make
these risks manageable and exciting and in the
process give you the ultimate gift – freedom!
Freedom from worrying about your trading
because you are now disciplined to think in
terms of probabilities and risk control. Making
discipline a daily habit allows you “to weave a
habit of a strand a day of discipline until this
cable of discipline is almost unbelievable.”
2. Technical – this varies by the methodology
used by each trader. All trading opportunities
should be explored. A daily ritual of scanning
charts will present many good opportunities.
This is the time consuming part of trading.
3. Physical – take time to do some type of
exercise like golf, tennis or walking. It will
release tension, stress, and pamper your
heart.
Discipline is also necessary on the execution
side of trading. Risk control is the most critical
element of the trading process. Never forget
how a devastating loss destroys your “psyche”.
It damages the trader’s soul.

Discipline in trading presents itself in several
parts: First, there is the preparation. Trading is
simple but it ain’t easy, to quote an old market
axiom. Many hours of preparation occur long
before any trade is entered. Here are the steps
of preparation:
1. Mental – think through what risks are present
in the trade. Knowing how to get out of the trade
is very important. Mental preparation assumes
that no alcohol is consumed from Sunday
through Thursday of the trading week. Alcohol
damages brain cells and may take up to 24
hours to completely leave your blood stream.
Monitoring a profitable trade in progress also
requires discipline – you must follow the trading
plan. Don’t be concerned about the little
fluctuations if your goal is higher. Ask yourself
these questions: Has the market changed
since I placed the trade? Can I afford the risk
on this trade? If the answer to both of these
questions is yes, then you must stay in the
trade.
These brief examples highlight the important
role of discipline in the life of a trader. It is truly
essential in helping the trader prepare, execute
and manage their positions.

BOOK REVIEW BY BILL MERIDIAN: Many times over the last 20 years, people have asked me
where to find a basic book to introduce them to the application of astrology to business. I can now
recommend "Business Astrology 101" by Georgia Stathis. Georgia explains how astrology can be utilized
on many different levels. Business Astrology 101 begins by explaining the basics that the newcomer
needs to know such as elements, qualities, solstice points, rulerships, houses and synodic cycles. The
last subject is of particular interest in determining longer-term trends. The third section of the book will be
of great interest to both the beginner and the experienced astrologer: techniques and strategies. Planning
is related to the lunar cycle, and Jupiter and Saturn are related to the career cycle. There is a chapter
about reading the horoscope of incorporation, a much-needed addition to the body of knowledge. The
case studies are very interesting, such as that of Johnson & Johnson and the Tylenol crisis. Another
chapter deals with the real estate cycle and the process of the real estate transaction. Many of the
lessons are illustrated in two case studies of two careers. In the appendices, there are worksheets for
vocation, corporations, real estate, and annual planning. There is also a business questionnaire to aid
the astrologer in focusing on the client’s needs and in gathering data.
The book is very well-written in an easy and alluring style. I found myself gliding effortlessly from page to
page. The advice is extraordinary in the sense that it is both practical and still taps into the author’s depth
in mythology and psychology. Georgia opens up by connecting the fear of growth to Saturn and to
Maslow’s need hierarchy. Chapter 5 relates the mythological signatures of the planets to the roles that
they play in the business world. My feeling when I reached the last page - it was not long enough. I was
left with the feeling that Georgia has a lot more to teach us. So we look forward to her next book.
