1. I would like to extend an official welcome to each of you on behalf of the Air Force Systems Command and the personnel of Eglin Air Force Base. We hope that our facilities will make your training program beneficial and an experi~ ence which you will continue to remember.

2. The experience and training you receive during this encampment should be of benefit to you as Cadets of the Civil Air Patrol and as individuals and citizens of the United States.

3. Again may I welcome you to Eglin Air Force Base and may you have an enjoyable and worthwhile experience here during this summer encampment.

You belong to the most outstanding cadet wing in C.A.P. This is acknowledged by many people on National level, it is up to you to keep, or better, this reputation, because you are the Cadet Wing.
