22nd birthday

As he turned 22 years old last Monday, Gerald
Anderson wished he could have both new projects and a special someone.
"Puwedeng sabay? Birthday ko naman," he said with a smile during his interview with Boy Abunda aired last Sunday, March 6, on The Buzz.
At the birthday press conference prepared for him last Monday by Star Magic, the former Pinoy Big Brotherteen housemate admitted that being single gives him a stress-free feeling. However, he did not deny that he misses being in a relationship.
In his interview last Sunday, he admitted that his former PBB housemate Kim Chiu was his first love. The long-time onscreen partners reportedly broke up last year. This was after Gerald was rumored to have dated fellow Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo.
"In a way, iba rin pag may nagmamahal sa iyo, nag-aalaga sa iyo.
Although he enjoys being unattached right now, Gerald believes that someday he will find the right girl. (CLICK HERE to read related article)
And if that opportunity comes along, Gerald wishes that she would be just a simple girl.
He further described his ideal girl, "Maganda pero mas maganda 'yong ugali niya, masarap kasama. Just a simple girl na masarap kasama."
KEEPING HIS FOCUS. Since he's not romantically involved with anyone, Gerald pays full attention to his work.
Gerald, who has been in the industry for almost five years, said he has received so many blessings as a celebrity.
Recalling the highlights of his career so far, he said, "Nag-start sa Sana Maulit Muli(2007), 'yong first show ko.
Gerald also mentioned the hit TV series Tayong Dalawa as one of his memorable projects because it was a dream come true.
Since he already topbilled several TV shows, Gerald wants to experience how it feels like to be a kontrabida.
"Actually, balita ko nga, mas challenging pa 'yon kaysa bida. So, kumbaga, kung may project, why not," he said.
The young actor is also open to portraying a gay character someday.
