Bowes-Lyon. She married Philip Mountbatten, a distant cousin 1947; the pair has four
children; Charles, Prince of Wales, Anne, Andrew and Edward. She is the first monarch
to send her children to boarding schools in order to remove them from the over-probing
media. She has a strong sense o duty and diligence. Her knowledge of current situation
and trends is up to date. She possesses a sense of humour rarely exhibited in public where
a dignified presence is a goal.

12. The text is about

student of senior high school.

a. 20
b. 81
c. 90
d. 91

The student answers (b). Just like several items before that forces the students to use
their mathematic ability to answer the question, in my opinion this item is not valid
because it doesn’t test what should be tested. Too much items with this kind of question
decreases the validity of the test.

a. Sons
b. Daughters
c. Grandsons
d. Granddaughters

easy to be answered.

something like TEFL.

b. Expired
c. Expressive

The student answers (d). The answer is true, but I think it is accidental.

The test items from number 18 to 20 are good because they evaluate the students’ ability
in comprehending the language used for certain field, in this sense about tourism.

By analyzing the real sheet of the test, I think the test is lack of face validity because test
is in hand writing, and then copied for the students. So, some items are difficult to be
read. It is also not as clean as the test typed using a computer. In some items, I found that
the questions given are not valid, because they don’t have any accordance with the
material or the students’ level of knowledge. It is seen in the item number 16.
