New Building, New Relationships

It has been since year-end that we last wrote an update. Things have been so crazy
here, our family is finally getting back to “normalcy” if that exists. There is a LOT to
share about the past few months, so without further adu ...

Three groups representing four churches came this Jan-Feb to build the sanctuary in
Katuete. It was hard work in muggy weather, but Just look at what was accomplished
in one month when a lot of hands came together!

Youth Encountering Christ

The national youth convention was held at our town and we were able to serve 125
youth through rappelling, river games, great food and fellowship. We invited them to
prepare for the best life possible, serving the Lord.

"Following Christ has

nothing to do with

success as the world

sees success.

It has to do

with love."

-Madeleine L’Engle

On the go....

This year Paraguay hosted the CIID (Conferencia Inter-Americana de la Iglesia de Dios) in
Santa Rita Feb 22-26. We had representatives from 10 countries. The five day conference was
full of diverse worship, interesting workshops, and joyful fellowship. Then the Church of God
missionaries came together for a retreat. The last time we participated was in 2004, so it was
great to get to know our colleagues better serving in other Latin American nations.

Prayer Focus:
• Please pray for Norberto’s sweet
aunt Nila who is our long-time
prayer warrior cheerleader. She had
a stroke and is immobile.
• Thank God for safe travels this
summer and for the fall season and
cooler weather.
• We rejoice at the wonderful
sanctuary and relationships that
were built in Katuete.
• For the final preparations and
finances of the leadership institute
that will launch next week!
• For our adoption process and
continued patience.
• Please continue to join us in prayer
for the lost and broken in Paraguay.
