SHORT & LONG TERM OBJECTIVES

My short term objective is to build up on the afore-mentioned skills by gaining

practical exposure as to how it actually happens in the industry. With commitment,
will to learn and acquired skill set I would like to serve the organization in my best
capacity and be a contributor to India's growth.
Over the longer run I want to develop a sound understanding of industry
specifics and corporate strategies and contribute to organizational policy making. It
will be a sequential step leading to career and personnel grooming.
I would also like to contribute towards the endangered species and their
breeding. I’ll also work towards the empowerment of girl child in rural India.
INDUSTRIAL TRAINING

Major training from BSNL, Bhopal- 2010. (30 Days)

The training was based in the Exchange Office, where Digital Electronic
Exchanges of OCB, E-10B, EWSD,C-DOT and ILT technology are installed. Bhopal
Telecom has 17,500 line capacity OCB Trunk Automatic Exchange (TAX) which is one
out of 21 level-1 TAXs in India. The thesis also involved the various management
schemes of more than 1.6 lakh lines, out of which 1.33 lakh lines are connected to
our valued customers for providing basic Telephone services, Fax, ISDN and
Internet. Finally the loop-holes in the switching systems were also analyzed and my
final report included some suggestions towards improving the busy hour traffic, were
also appreciated by the Head-Coordinator.

PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN

Major project on 8 bit multiplier-2010.

This project work is devoted for the design of a high speed Vedic multiplier,
its implementation on reconfigurable hardware implemented vedic multiplier.
Interfacing of FPGA with a keyboard has also been done. For arithmetic multiplication
techniques Vedic multiplication technique called Urdhva tiryakbhyam Sutra was used
to cut down the switching time and the number of logic gates which were used in the
conventional process. Verilog HDL (VHDL) coding of the above Sutra for 8X8 bits
multiplication and their FPGA implementation by XILINX synthesis tool on Spartan
3E kit have been done. The power used by the system was only 203mW and the time
for the output result was at maximum of 10.241ns delayed with a frequency of
128.461 MHz.

Minor project on Infrared Intruder alarm-2009.

The active infrared motion detector is used rather than passive to eliminate
basic problems associated with the environment. The setup consisted of an
‘infrared photodiode’ which is indirectly in contact with ‘infrared phototransistor’
through an ‘infrared reflector’. Whenever an intruder blocks the virtual circuitry, a
buzzer connected to the direct supply starts. The setup is not complex as other
intruder alarm and comprised of a simple 9V DC power supply.
