Title : DIP Based Traffic Signal Follower BOT

Project details :
As we are observing lot of problems in the road for not following the traffic
rules properly so we tried to develop a part to control this problem. The Traffic
signal follower BOT is the basic simulated model of a autonomous vehicle which
is designed to move along the road, sensing the horizontal line, detecting and
sensing the traffic signal and function accordingly. The image of the road and the
signal is acquired through the camera mounted at the front of the vehicle. And by
DIGITAL IMAGE PROCESSING the vehicle is commanded to act accordingly.
This means the vehicle will be automatically stopped prior to the white horizontal
line before the zebra crossing on the detection of RED signal. If non red signal is
sensed then the vehicle will automatically move on the left side of the road.
