OUR TEAM’s PRIMARY GOALS & OBJECTIVES


- To better understand the principles of project management
- Understanding the government side of project management
- Learn and utilize project management tools to apply immediately at work
- To collaborate and maximize the strengths of the team members
- Effectively apply what we’ve learned from class
- Synthesize and evaluate course objectives as demonstrated by the final group project

Our Roles and Responsibilities


As a team, we will designate tasks that each team member must complete by certain date. These
tasks will include:
- Meeting agenda
- Note takers for the team meeting
- Distribution of the meeting notes
- Individual who will upload final assignments to Blackboard
- Timekeeper

OUR AGREED-UPON RULES OF BEHAVIOR

In-person meetings
We will hold a weekly in-person meeting each Wednesday at 6:30 PM and other meetings as
needed. We will meet in the Marvin Center.
For Virtual Meetings
We will hold virtual meetings via Skype.
Submit agenda and deliverables within 24 hours
Submit meeting notes with deliverables within 24 hours after end
Be prepared
Complete deliverables on time
Encourage participation – take turns

For Making Decisions


Listen to each person’s opinion
Utilize an individual’s knowledge on subject matter
If a vote is necessary to resolve a disagreement, at least 3 members of the group will have to
vote in the affirmative for the motion to carry.

Gather individuals’ opinions in attempt to solve
Proactive support – speak up

Penalties
A team member’s unwillingness to abide by this charter will result in the following
consequences:
1. Be made part of the agenda for the next meeting for the full team to discuss
2. Upon concluding the team meeting, if a member commits a second infraction against the
charter, the member will provide snacks for the next team meeting.
3. Should the first two consequences not remedy the behavior of the team member, then the
team will request a joint-meeting with the Professor. This penalty will only be assessed
under the direst of circumstances.
