products according to specifications and quality standards. Estimates production
times, staffing
requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
Confers with
management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, p
roduction
schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. Applies
statistical
methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential. Self starte
r. Previous
experience working in an automotive/manufacturing, diesel engine assembly(prefer
red), engine,
plant environment highly desirable Must have a strong commitment to quality and
process improvement

ufacturing company.
This position will work in concert with the production management and production
planning teams. You will communicate with internal contacts in Quality Assuran
ce, Engineering, Sales, and Finance on a regular basis and work closely with oth
ers regarding production planning.

Requirements:
Experience in manufacturing is required.
Degree is required; BS in Industrial Engineering or related field is highly pre
ferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Above average abilities with Microsoft computer applications.
Understanding of ERP/MRP system.
Excellent communications skills.
Knowledge of training in LEAN manufacturing.
