Background to the
project
Shoppers are often confronted with a multitude of options
when choosing an item of technology, and now there are so
many channels for gaining information on a particular process,
it makes it more and more difficult to decide.
The challenge
This project will focus on why, where and how we make the
decision on which racing bicycle to buy. Racing bicycles have
been chosen as they are often the first type of bicycle to be
effected by new technologies, and are at the forefront of
research and development with high-end users often requiring
high specification models.
Project goals
To gain understanding of user habits and requirements
Analyse how the products are sold and compared
Create a design that guides the user through the buying
process, focusing on the stage of like-for-like comparison
