II- Piping Technical Experience
o Preparing and reviewing piping specifications in accordance with the company standards
and general codes (full awareness of Bechtel standards, ARAMCO standards, ENPPI
standards).
o Preparing and reviewing valves datasheets, vendor technical specifications and bidders'
quotations.
o Provide piping technical input to P&IDs including piping classes, valve types and special
items.
o Preparing pipeline and piping safety instruction sheets with the required calculations for
pipe wall thickness, Maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP), and test pressure
III- Plant Design System (CADWORX Plant) Experience
o Highly experienced in using all CadWORX activities and modules including Equipment
modeling, Piping Designer, Isometric Extraction, CADWorx P&I, piping design
Specfication data manager.
o Review the plant 3D model from design, accessibility, Maintainability and
constructability using Navisworks Review software.

lack of material item)

o Review the Piping Design documents (P&ID, Isometrics, GA's, Tie-ins list, Supports
Details, orientation drawings and vendor drawings).

o Instruct and coordinate with subordinates, such as junior piping material engineers,
design engineers etc.

o Checking of the physical data sheet against API, ASME, ASTM, MSS standards &
Vendor Catalogs for consistency & validates to ensure the usage of correct dimensions.
o Coordination with all RE/concern person for MTO compilation for different units.

bottleneck of the plant.

utility distribution.
o Preparing the P&ID and coordinating with the Process Dept. (Process Interlock).
o Analyzing the process requirements for sizing Service Tank & Day Tank.
o Designing network diagrams using pipe flow expert process pipe sizing & utility pipe
sizing.
o Preparing P&ID in CADworx, P&ID with Database, and customizing requirements.

o Preparing pump data sheet, chiller data sheet, compressor data sheet, valve data sheet for
procurement of special items.
o Developing BOM & BOQ from CADworx database.
o Planning for locating steam & condensate manifolds for jacketed piping.
o Conversant with stress analysis software CAESAR-II for the analysis of the stress critical
lines by performing static analysis within the limits.
