for drug trafficking

(UPDATE 2) Wan Chai District Court Judge Joseph Yau on Thursday sentenced Representative Ronald
Singson to a total of one year and six months in prison for bringing cocaine into the southern Chinese
territory for his personal use.

HONG KONG—Wanchai District Court Judge Joseph Yau Wednesday agreed with Ilocos Sur Rep. Ronald
Singson that the cocaine that he brought into the territory last year was for his personal use and not
intended for commercial distribution or sale.
