Six Sigma, is a business management strategy that is widely accepted in the manufacturing and the
service industries. By learning the basics of Six Sigma (The scope of Yellow Belt), your college
students can take their first step to process excellence and process optimization.

Six Sigma is a globally accepted benchmarking strategy that is being implemented in a lot of
organizations. Per a freewheeling survey, only 25% of organizations worldwide have implemented Six
Sigma principles on their processes.

With the Six Sigma Certification, your institution students will gain practical exposure to
implementing process excellence (See Annexure B and Annexure C for more details).

Session – Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training

Duration – 4 hours including break

Training program fees – INR 600

IRS (Institutional Revenue Share) – 20% of the program fees per student for all students

Training and Certification Process Flow (Annexure D)

Training process

1. The Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training session will be conducted in your college premises for a
total duration of 4 hours. The participants will also be appearing for the Yellow Belt Paper
Examination for 30 minutes to get the Yellow Belt Certification. The examination will be
based on the content of the presentation. Once the participant passes the examination,
teams would be formed to inform us of their project goals. Emkay Training Services will
keep the college authorities of the teams’ goals for the projects.

2. The Yellow Belt Certificates would be hand-delivered to the institution in 3 days time of
finishing the training session. This time is needed for us to provide printed and signed off
Yellow Belt completion certificates.

3. All further certification programs would be conducted at the company’s training facility in
Mira Road. Please take note that the company would be inaugurating a new training facility
at Bandra(W).

Recruitment offers will be made only after participants are Green Belt Certified, and
complete a test project. The test project will be championed by the Master Black Belt, and
will have a cycle of 3 months from commencement.
