General objectives : At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
a) Understand about the synopsis of The Phantom of the Opera and the elements of literature in
the story.
b) Understand about the positive, comparative, superlative adjective.
c) Understand about the subject verb agreement and tenses.

Specific objectives : At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
a) Understand about the synopsis of The Phantom of the Opera and the elements of literature in
the story by answers at least five questions in the ‘snake and ladder’ quiz correctly.
b) Understand about the positive, comparative and superlative adjectives by answers at least
five questions in the ‘snake and ladder quiz’ correctly.
Prior knowledge : students had experienced and learned it in the previous class.

• If they get answer correctly, they can
stay on the box. If they answer is
wrong, they will have to move 4 steps
backwards.
• Each question must be answered in 1
minute.
