• Trained with the Montpeliers Training Centre which has given me the
skills to provide excellent customer care
• Working as a member of a team to provide food and drink to a wide
range of customers – international and local.
• Working under pressure on a daily basis dealing with up to 100
customers per sitting
July 10 – Tigerlily, Edinburgh
September 10: Hostess
• Being in charge of sitting all customers required organisation and quick
thinking to maximise the tables and seats available
• Closely working with all members of the team from senior
management to floor staff

• Working as part of a small team providing food and drink at a wide
range of events – parties, weddings, business meetings
• Regularly managing the bar or restaurant on my own

• The responsibility of preparing the property for members of the public

• Had to use initiative and intelligence whilst showing the property to

POSITIONS OF RESPONSIBILTY
2010-2011 University of St Andrews Dance Society, Treasurer
• In charge of the clubs large bank acocunt
• Raising funds for a sprung dance floor in the new AU building that is
going to be built
2010-2011 University of St Andrews Women’s Hockey Club, Kit and Transport Rep
• Booking transport several times a week for all 4 teams
• Ordering and distributing team kit as well as any additional sport
clothing wanted.
2009-2010 University of St Andrews Women’s Hockey Club, Treasurer
• In charge of all income and expenditure within the club
• For the first time managed to keep the club out of debt and even
created a small savings for the club
2009-2010 University of St Andrews Dance Society, Highland Dancing Teacher
• Set up Highland Dancing within the society as there was no Highland
class in St Andrews
• Teach a class of around 16 pupils every week for an hour
• The ability in the class varies from novice to advanced
2009-2010 University of St Andrews Dance Society, Co-Show Convenor
• Put together the annual Dance Society Show that showcases over 160
students at the Byre Theatre
• Sold out 2 of the 3 nights and over 90% of tickets in total making it the
most successful show ever held by Dancesoc

ADDITIONAL SKILLS
IT Skills: Proficient at MS Office and internet use, able to create databases and use
PowerPoint for presentations. Also, capable of using SAS and R at a basic
level.

INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES


Sports:In my spare time I participate in many extracurricular activities such as skiing,
hockey and dancing. I am part of the St Andrews University 2 nd XI hockey team
and have also represented the University as part of their Ski Race Team.
Societies: I am an active member of GIG (Global Investment Group) and the Charities
Society. I also enjoy being involved in musical theatre as it combines both my
passions for dancing and singing.
Achievements: I gained my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award and I am a scouting leader
working towards my Queen Scout award. I was Highland Dancing Captain and
a prefect at school. The common feature of all these activities is that I enjoy
meeting new people and working in a team.
