Vipers and Hypocrites-The Unjust Congress

Unhappy country, what wings you have! .

Weep (it is frequent in human affairs), weep for
the terrible magnificence of the means,
The ridiculous incompetence of the reasons, the
bloody and shabby
Pathos of the result.-Robinson Jeffersi

“I think that we need to create a real crisis here so that the Republicans will have to answer for denying
Americans unemployment benefits on the eve of the Christmas holiday, “he said. “We let them off the hook,
in my opinion.”-Rep Keith Ellison

GOP House Banking Committee Chief, Bachus: “my view is that Washington and the regulators are there to
serve the banks”.

Job 29: 12 “For I saved the poor out of the hand of the oppressor, and helped the fatherless who had no
helper. 13 Let the blessing of the perishing one come upon me; yea, the mouth of the widow has blessed
me. 14 Also I put on righteousness, and clothed myself with judgment like a mantle. 15 I was the eye of
the blind, and the foot of the lame. 16 I was the father of the helpless; and I searched out the cause
which I knew not. 17 And I broke the jaw-teeth of the unrighteous; I plucked the spoil out of the midst of
their teeth. 18 And I said, My age shall continue as the stem of a palm-tree; I shall live a long while. 19 My
root was spread out by the water, and the dew would lodge on my crop. 20 My glory was fresh in me,
and my bow prospered in his hand.”

This Biblical quote is True Justice, and True Judgment. It is also known as true religion.

The difference between the quote sets seems otherworldly today. We have in the first set the condition
of government at the end of the last Congress and the new promises no stark differences.

Contrasting this we have the Biblical mandate for government for both a leader and a congress. To the
leadership I simply ask, what have we as a people done to you? How have we harmed you that our
good vote turned on us and only provided who we would be taken hostage by?

By the admission of your own investigative committee it took an act of Congress to get us here. I
assume it was the repeal of the Glass-Stiegel Act subtly pushed by the gentleman Sen. Gramm.

By the admission of all, it loosed the great financial houses among others (ravening wolves- beasts of
prey) that won’t take their teeth off the necks of the people, your people. They are no longer content
with foreclosing on homes, after crashing the economy. They steal the houses with no mortgages after
they crashed the economy by buying out the tax debt on mortgage free homes.

To those among you fighting to gain respite for the people, thank you and may you be blessed
according to this Scripture.
To the rest, the uncivil servants I would remind you that the last congress took a president to task for
not knowing the national motto “In GOD we trust”. It is not; knowing a motto which is a sacred honor.
It is only honored on His terms as read above. That alone acknowledges His sovereignty, this trust.

We were a hardworking and inventive people, not entertained. We were once renowned not as
aggressors but a people who would do what is right, because it was right. We were watchful, not
watched. Our hardworking did not live in tents and squalor with no hope. They were not seen as an
untouchable caste to be shunned out of the desperate denial that this could also be me. We did not
torture, we did not touch.

If this can be a country “In GOD we trust” then simply look hard at the above description of
government. Regardless of faith study it. If with faith or a neighbor who does not believe in a Living
GOD you cannot take up the plight of the broken, of people who cannot hold their own hands up
anymore, the poor, retirees who have had everything taken, also the sick to find respite for them. Be
honest, step down and go to whatever business interest you were bought for.

The proof today is in the exemptions from the laws. The proof lies in the revolving door of corporatism.
The proof is in the new campaign reform. You are a debtor to this, the new constituency.

You choose. If this does not describe you don’t worry, your constituency will see that. You choose the
largest predator devouring your people, and break it off them. How?

According to the prophet Isaiah, “Tear up the writ that is against the people.”

The US is the greatest economic engine the world will ever know. Yet its people and its future have
been robbed of all. You have declared aware or unaware essentially Biblical Jubilees for the lawless
predators, and not protected the small. These beasts have filled your halls and stay long enough to
loosen the laws for their next frenzy and you ignore our interests. They are rewarded for their lewdness
with our substance and our grandchildren’s.

What have they promised? If the motto has meaning to you I will remind you, did He not say; “If you
love Me, keep My Commandments”. It is also Him that upbraided an unjust congress as “vipers and
hypocrites” because they laid weights of law and regulation on the necks of the people.

The problem for you is that quote from Job is how a leader may keep the Royal Law, now relegated to a
“golden rule.”It isn’t your tears that convince us. It is your actions. We haven’t threatened you and yet
your work is becoming our greatest fear, why?

Shown in “The Generations of Antichrist; An Argument for the Sake of Heaven” this “Royal Law” was at
its inception the responsibility of any leader under a Living God. Its privilege is there is no one higher
than the leader other than the God answered to. In part that is its privilege. The above shows its
responsibility. Its continual abuse is why Jesus set it as the standard for His people. Leadership would
always corrupt and He gave the people direct access to God for the first time.

How and why is a false partisanship flourishing today in the face of our many trials? Reward the
predators and they now come openly from all sectors breeding corruption on corruption and your
supporters openly wonder if they are not your true constituency.
If you believe in a Living God, because of your privilege and position it is your responsibility and work
that lays the weight of law and policy on the back of those who have no voice in today’s events. It is in
your own work He will judge you later. In the meantime your people groan under the weight of agency
and business actions that even a few years ago would clearly be illegal, immoral, and entirely LAWLESS.

“When people speak to you about a preventive war, you tell them to go and fight it. After my
experience, I have come to hate war. War settles nothing.”

“Every gun that’s made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies a theft from those who
hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not clothed. This world in arms… is spending the genius
of its scientists, the sweat of its laborers,”1

This former president saw much more of the true hardship and cost of war because he oversaw it.

The exact quote and attribution escapes me at the moment but I believe it was this same former president
who said “a law must be judged not on what good it can do now, but on what evil it can be used for later”.

It is the statesmanship of both presidency and congress that was needed in this day. The perils and hardship
themselves demanded work that was beyond politics. Robinson Jeffers should not have been left to be
prophetic.
