PES established in 1972 with just 40 students, today caters to over 12,000 students. It functions from five campuses,
three in Bangalore and one in Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh, and one in Shivamogga with excellent facilities and great
learning ambience. A frontrunner in the country’s education scenario, PES is managing a group of premier institutions,
offering a multitude of courses in diploma, undergraduate and post graduate degrees in Science, Commerce, Pharmacy,

ATTENDANCE RULES:
Each semester is considered as a unit and the candidate has to put in a minimum attendance of 85% in each subject with
a provision of condo nation of 10% of the attendance by the Vice-Chancellor on the specific recommendation of the Principal
for reasons such as medical grounds, participation in university level sports, cultural activities, seminars, workshops
and paper presentations.
A candidate having shortage of attendance in one or more subjects shall have to repeat the whole semester and
such candidate shall not be permitted to take admission to next semester. Such student shall take readmission to
the same semester in the subsequent academic year.

DISCIPLINARY GUIDELINES:
PESITM is uncompromising on disciplinary issues and following are the guidelines to keep one out of trouble:
A) It is compulsory for students to wear and display ID cards at all times of their presence on the campus. Failing
this, entry into Campus/Classes will be denied.
B) Dress code should be strictly observed. Non-conformists will be sent home under all circumstances.
C) Students are strictly prohibited from possessing mobile phones on campus for whatever reason. Parents are
requested to advise their wards never to take mobile phones to college and encourage them to use the coin
phones available in the campus, if necessary.
D) Ragging is completely banned and any students indulging in ragging activities will be dealt severely as per the
law in force.
