III. PLATFORM

1) Main Point:
System Reboot
Details:
I plan to complete the previous centralization of database of all IPA members. With this, I will extensively
use e-groups and social networking sites to promote the projects of IPA organizations to their members. In addition, I
will introduce an organized online newsletter as a way of promotion. It will contain all the upcoming events of IPA
organizations and articles regarding recent social issues in order to be more informative and interactive than ever in
terms of information dissemination. As a way of encouraging IPA members, recognitions will be posted to the
newsletter to people who had made significant contributions to their organizations.

2) Main Point:
Marketing and Promotions Assistance
Details:
In order to address the problems of IPA organizations in terms of marketing & sponsorship and promotional
designs, a team will be formed for each. The teams will assist organizations in their funds and advertising materials.
In line with this, those who are not active in their organizations will be the ones to be encouraged to constitute these
core teams. This is also a way of forming them as effective project managers and trouble shooters for them to
become potential leaders and project heads of their respective organization.

3) Main Point:
Forms for Dummies
Details:
To make information more accessible to IPA members, a web account will be set up to feature the FAQs of
project making and IPA basics. Requests for assistance and concerns & suggestions will be less of a hassle as
simplified and guided online forms of requests will be inducted in this web account. Included in this account are social
issues previously posted from the online newsletter where IPA members are free to post comments and discussions
to promote their critical thinking.

4) Main Point:
Umbrella Project and Visibility
Details:
As another way of promoting IPA org projects and recognizing the unity of the cluster in terms of their
advocacies, a semester-long umbrella project which will highlight open projects of IPA organizations that best
represent their identity and cause. It will be done to promote discourse among IPA members. This is also a way of
reaching out to the Ateneo community to make them more politically and socially aware.

5) Main Point:
Effective Communication and ‘Voice of the Orgs’
Details:
A hotline will be open to everyone who needs urgent information and reference. Questions are assured to be
answered immediately (within 24 hours). On the other hand, grievance committee will be formed to address the post-
project problems of organizations. IPA organizations are free to file their concerns regarding regulation problems that
they encountered in the duration of their project. Everything will be raised to the CB for considering policy and
procedure changes for the betterment of the organizations.
