A reference list of some books which you will need in the first year

Points to be noticed

1. The books listed here are those which are commonly used (please
notice, “commonly used” does not mean “commonly bought”).

2. Some books have few pictures and are only “black-and-white” printed,
I think you know what that implies =P.

3. If you can’t decide whether it is good to buy a book or not, it is better


to read a few pages of the book first, to see if the style of the book
suites you. Libraries and even U bookstore are good places for you to
do so.
