Reference our discussion today regarding a possible project with yourself for packaging,
sourcing, supervising a installation/commissioning of a Turbine Generator in Punjab.

We have purchased a 7.83 MW Turbine Generator from Europe. Photo's attached. The
Turbine Generator was installed at a sugar plant which was liquidated 2 years ago.

The liquidator only saved the Turbine, Gear and Alternator. All auxilaries of the Turbine
Generator were destroyed by the plant liquidator and are missing.

Following is a list of components that are missing from the Turbine Generator:

• Turbine Generator Panel including excitation control system? We require

engineering and quotation of the Turbine Generator Panel.
• Lubricating oil system (reservoir, reservoir demister, heater, main oil pump, aux. oil
pump, emergency (DC) oil pump, duplex filters, duplex coolers, piping, valves and
instruments). Including Hydraulic Goveronor Control System. We require a
quotation from your company.
• The heat exchangers required for oil cooling are available locally in Pakistan. Heat
Exchanger Sizing is an issue which needs to be provided by your company.
• Turbine Local Panel can also be sourced locally in Pakistan. However, all drawing
and engineering would have to be provided by you, alternatively please quote this
item.
• Couplings. We will require the high speed coupling between the Turbine and Gear
and also the low speed coupling between the Gear and Alternator.
• Oil conditioning system (de-watering system).
• Gland condenser system (ejectors, heat exchanger, piping, valves and instruments).
We need sizing of the heat exchanger. Please quote your best prices, however i think
if your companyt provides the heat exchanger sizing, we can have them purchased
locally as they would be more price competitive.
• Alternator cooling water pump sizing.
• Cooling water supply system (duplex pumps, piping, valves and instruments). We
need sizing of the heat exchangers.
• Excitation control system (panel).

All valves, fittings and instrumentation is available locally in Pakistan at very competitive
prices. All interconnecting piping for oil system would have to be done.

The Alternator has CACW cooling system.

We will also require following missing components:

• Neutral earthing resistor. (Available Locally, we would require sepcifications)

• Low Voltage electrical equipment (motor control panels)
• High Voltage electrical equipment (including bus bars and high voltage breaker)
• Direct current electrical system (powering DC oil pump, if required).
• Special tools.

We need engineering services to provide specification of missing components, supply of

missing components as per above list, services for supervision of installation/commissioning
of the Turbine Generator.

We will facilitate all support structure at site. We will provide lodging, food, tools and
necessary infra-structure during the project at the Site. An overhead crane is available in the
power house. The Turbine Generator is expected to arrive in Pakistan by July 30, 2010

We are sending the Turbine Generator Manual, drawings, photo's and all the relevant data
that may help you establish a commercial proposal for supply of missing components
and also commercial offer for services.
