3. Use a 10mm socket to remove the hex screw from the
bottom of the driver side bumper cover.

6. Once the bumper cover becomes loose, reach down and
release the fog lamps on models equipped by either
unplugging the harness or rotating the bulb out of the
socket.
4. Pull down on the centers of the four (4) lower factory push
fasteners securing the bottom of the bumper cover and pull
the fasteners down to remove them.
7. Remove the factory lower grille mounted sensor by pulling
it straight back to release.

5. Apply several layers of masking tape to the edges of the
front fenders where the bumper cover meets, then firmlu
grasp the bumper cover at the wheel arch opening and
pull it towards you to release the fender clips.
8. Carefully place the removed bumper cover to a clean work
area. Unclip the factory chrome surround and the inner
factory grille insert from the bumper cover (not shown).
Remove the front license palte bracket (if equipped) and
cut the lower section of as shown in the above photo.

9. Use flat or semi-gloss black paint to black out everything
that would be visible through the mesh grille (as shown).

27. Use a 7/64” drill bit to drill a hole through one of the mesh
openings at the upper outer corners of the mesh section
and install the supplied #8 x 1/2” black truss head screws.

30. Realign the factory upper grille chrome surround onto the
bumper cover and use masking tape to hold it into place
during the following installation procedure.

28. Use a .156” (5/32”) drill bit to carefully drill through the
upper factory grille section at the center and mid way
between the center of the grille opeing and the upper outer
black truss head screws for black nylon cable tie installation.
Drill directly above a mesh intersection, through the inner
layer of the factory grille surround only. DO NOT DRILL past
this first layer of plastic or you will damage the bumper
cover and the factory chrome surround!

31. This photo gives you the locations for installing the supplied
#8 x 1/2” black truss head screws that will secure the facto-
ry upper chrome surround onto the bumper cover.

29. Install the supplied .130” x 5” black nylon cable ties (as
shown) to secure the top edge of the mesh section to
the factory grille section. Trim off the excess cable tie (not
shown).

32. Push up agains the factory chrome surround and then
drill a 7/64” hole through the inner layer of the factory
grille portion reinstalled in Step and the factory
chrome mounting tab of the upper surround. DO NOT
DRILL past the surround’s mounting tab or you will dam
age the bumper cover.

33. Install the supplied #8 x 3/8” black trusshead screws across
the top and the #8 x 1/2” black trusshead screws across the
bottom (see Step 31 for screw locations). All screws will be
drilled and installed from the bottom up (as shown).

38. On the passenger side, install two (2) large black plastic
washers along with two (2) #8-32 ESNA half nuts and
tighten until the washers no longer rotate. DO NOT
OVERTIGHTEN!

34. Install the supplied double faced tape to the top and bot-
tom sides of the lower mesh grille surround.
35. Align the lower mesh section onto the back of the surround
and press firmly to set the tape.
36. Trim the ends from the supplied #8 x 1-1/4” black cap plugs
and install them onto the lower two studs where shown.

39. Install the emblem assembly onto the upper mesh section,
making sure it is perfectly centered. Secure the assembly
using the supplied large black plastic washers, #10 s.s. lock
washers and #8-32 s.s. hex nuts. Tighten until the emblem
assembly does not move.

37. Align the lower grille into place, making sure the studs
pass through the openings in the lower factory grille (it
may be necessary to slightly bend the studs if the grille
does not fit centered in the factory opening). On the
driver side, install one large and one small black plastic
washer along with two (2) #8-32 ESNA half nuts and
tighten until the washers no longer rotate. DO NOT
OVERTIGHTEN!

40. Reinstall the black foam bumper filler back onto the
bumper cover.
IMPORTANT:
Reverse the removal procedure to reinstall the bumper cover
back onto the vehicle.

41. Reinstall the modified from license plate bracket (if equipped)
to the bumper cover using the supplied #8 x 1/2” black
trusshead screws. Install the screws just below the factory
rivet holes.
WARRANTY INFORMATION:
E&G Classics, Inc. warrants its chrome parts and products to be free from defects in mate-
rial, workmanship or finish for Twenty-Four (24) months from the date of shipment by E&G.
This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement, at E&G Classics option, of the defective
part or product.
To obtain performance under this warranty you must:
1.) Present your E&G unit to an authorized distributor in your area with proof of purchase.
2.) If no distributor is available, contact E&G Classics (address below) for authorization to
return unit.
3.) Returns - All unauthorized returns will be refused. Merchandise approved by E&G for
return must have been purchased within the Twenty-Four (24) months. All returns require
an authorization number obtained from E&G and the actual return must be accompanied
by the written authorization form filled out completely. All merchandise must be inspect-
ed upon receipt and shortages reported within 48 hours. All merchandise must be in a
resalable condition. Merchandise must be packed carefully in the original packing. If orig-
inal packing is no longer usable, repack item(s) comparable to original manner. All returns
are subject to a 25% handling charge. Special order items are not returnable. Defective
merchandise must have an explanation of the problem. No credit will be issued unless
invoice number and date of purchase has been supplied. Manufacturer shall be sole judge
of defects in a product.
4.) UPS accounts - All returns must be prepaid. Do not send return shipments freight collect.
Once E&G has made its decision and it is a claim against our warranty policy, E&G will
credit incoming freight on damaged parts.
5.) No discontinued part or parts changed due to body style are returnable.

FINISHED INSTALLATION.
You are responsible for inspecting all packages containing E&G Classics' parts and product
immediately upon their receipt and must file a claim with the carrier for any damage disclosure
by such inspection and notify E&G classics in writing at the above address of any such dam-
age. This warranty does not extend to any of our products which have been subject to mis-
use, neglect, accident or have been altered or repaired in any way. This warranty does not
cover any accidental or consequential damages for any breach of this warranty agreement.
E&G Classics shall have no responsibility for any loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss
or consequential damage, nor shall E&G be liable for any injury or damage to persons or prop-
erty by reason of any defect in material, workmanship or finish of its parts or products. This
warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which may vary
from state to state.
