INTERVIEW WITH WARRI NEWS

There have been widespread speculations, even among members of his

flock, that the Founder and Sole spiritual leader of the Brotherhood of the
Cross and Star (BCS). Olumba Olumba Obu was dead.
What fueled the rumors and speculations was the sudden disappearance
from public glare of the "King of Kings," as he is commonly referred to by
adherents, several years ago. For some time now all activities of the church
outside Calabar which were supposed to be carried out by Olumba himself are
handled by his son, Bishop Rowland Obu.
So severe were the conflicting reports of his death the WARRI NEWS ever
alive to its responsibilities, got cracking and anchored in Calabar, the World
Headquarters of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star on a fact finding
mission.
WARRI NEWS can authoritatively reveal that Leader Olumba Olumba Obu
is very much alive, hale and hearty.
Our reporter arrived at Calabar at exactly 9:30 pm on Saturday, August 6th,
2000 and headed straight to the church headquarters where incidentally, the
August 2000 jubilee celebration was taking place, which attracted thousands
of faithfulls from all branches of Brotherhood nationwide
Unaware that the visitor was a journalist, a member of the Church when
accosted said, “You can’t just walk in and see the leader like that. There are
certain processes you have to follow.” He continued, “First you have to go to
the Media and Publicity Unit and if they are satisfied with your mission, they
will refer you to another higher authority and if they are satisfied, you will then
be taken to see the Father.”
Unimpressed with the response, our reporter nosed around 34 Ambo where
the Brotherhood headquarters is located, until a trader who was selling his
wares said to our reporter, “ Papa is alive.” When prodded further, the trader
who apparently was of Igbo extraction added, “You know Papa is old. His
son usually holds brief for him these days. But he is there. He strolls outside
the compound occasionally and goes back. These were all Warri News
could gather on the first visit.
At 5am the following Sunday Morning, Warri News was already there, this
time with a resolute mission to uncover the true position of things. After
introducing himself and explaining his mission, our reporter was taken to
Brother Eyo Okon, the information Secretary of Brotherhood of the Cross
and Star inside the main auditorium. As he was answering questions from
our reporter, Olumba Olumba Obu, the founder and Sole Spiritual Leader of
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Worldwide, emerged from his temple to
the bewildered amusement of our reporter. Okon suddenly sprawled on the
floor and announced the presence and mission of this reporter to the “Holy
Father.” This reporter was called upon to mount the rostrum with a
microphone. After explaining his mission himself as requested, this brief
dialogue took place between him and Leader Olumba Olumba Obu:
“ Mr. Journalist, as you came here did you meet my corpse?”
“No sir, I met you alive,” our reporter replied.
He continued, “I am aware of the rumors of my death, even among members
of my church. But I can assure you that all those wishing me dead, or are
spreading wicked rumors that I am dead, they will all die. I cannot die.
God does not die.”
“ Is it true that you can appear physically at different places at the same
time?” our reported inquired.
He replied, “Oh yes! God does not stay in one place. I am everywhere.” The
legendary Olumba Olumba Obu replied.
He continued, “I installed Charles Taylor as President of Liberia. He came
here to Calabar to see me, and I gave him the presidency of Liberia.
“They said no black man would rule South Africa, but I ensured that Nelson
Mandela ruled that country and succeeded by Thabo Mbeki.”
He continued further, “I gave Shegu Shagari a 6-month ultimatum to repent.
He refused and he was toppled exactly on the day the ultimatum expired .”
“I have also made sure that a black man will rule the United States of
America, soon,” the spiritual leader added.
One fascination thing about Olumba Olumba Obu our reporter noted, was
that at 82, having “manifested on earth” in 1918, is that there is nothing to
show that he was aged. Calm, soft-spoken, without any trace of wrinkles or
any other tell- tale sign of old age, Olumba looked like a 45 year old man. He
jumped and danced around effortlessly.
A spokesman for the Brotherhood, Paul Ugochukwu, said the leader would
never grow old. He gets younger and younger by the day.” Ugochukwu, a
famous aircraft pilot enthused.
Another aide, His Royal Highness, Uforo Edidem, said when Olumba was
born a blind woman carried him and she immediately regained her sight. At
the end of the session, our reporter was requested to sing a Christian song
for the Father, as “Papa loves songs.”
Our reporter chose this song, “We give Glory to the Lord, He reigns. He
reigns, He reigns, He reigns, we give glory to the Lord He reigns.”
The Holy Father nodded in approval, while the rest of the congregation
exploded in ecstasy and took up the chorus .
By this report, all speculations and rumors over the purported death of
Leader Olumba Olumba Obu has finally been put to rest. He is hale and
hearty and does not seem to be in a hurry to leave this planet.
HIGHLIGHTS:
1. YOU HAVE HEARD THAT THE WORLD WAS TO BE DESTROYED BETWEEN 1916 AND
1917, BUT IN 1918 THE HOLY SPIRIT MANIFESTED IN THE WORLD. YOU HAVE
HEARD THAT THE SECOND WORLD WAR WOULD HAVE WIPED OFF THE ENTIRE WORLD.
BUT FOR THE SAKE OF THE EXISTENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN OUR MIDST,
SUCH AN OCCURRENCE WAS TAKEN AWAY. YOU ARE AWARE THAT THE LAST CIVIL
WAR IN NIGERIA WOULD HAVE RESULTED IN A THIRD WORLD WAR, BUT BECAUSE
OF THE RIGHTEOUS PERSON IN OUR MIDST, OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, GOD
TOOK AWAY SUCH A THING. Do you know that everyday people are hatching
plans to destroy the world, they are engaging in many destructive
ventures. BUT FOR THE SAKE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST WHO REIGNS
SUPREME, nothing disastrous happens and nothing can flap its wings.
2. Our Lord Jesus Christ never bore testimony about any man, prophet,
pastor or person. HE BORE ELOQUENT TESTIMONY ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT
WHO IS NOW IN OUR MIDST. BUT DO YOU KNOW HIM? This explains why
I always enjoin you to preach Him always. What you are now seeing
has never been seen. He is everywhere. He abides with you and His
presence is felt everywhere. However, men have nicknamed Him
Beelzebub, vampire, and such other names. Man has not really received
the Holy Spirit; neither has he received Him properly since 1918,
yet He has brought great joy. He said that this generation shall not
pass away until all things have been fulfilled. (Matt 24:34). And
now it is only two years until the year 2000 when the reign of the
Holy Spirit shall take shape. He has come to turn things around.
2. THE YEAR OF THE LORD:
This gospel is a reminder of the word spoken by Our Lord Jesus Christ.
THE HOLY SPIRIT MANIFESTED HIMSELF ON EARTH SINCE 1918. He
now reigns in heaven and on earth. Sad enough, man is gazing into
the sky, expecting Christ to come there from. WHEN HE WAS ON EARTH,
DID MEN LISTEN TO HIM? To herald the coming of the Holy Spirit,
there was an epidemic of influenza in the world. That disease was
used to eliminate all the evil and sinful men. This therefore is a
lucky race.
3. GOD CREATED MAN IN HIS OWN IMAGE. THIS EXPLAINS WHY EACH TIME HE
COMES HE TAKES ON HUMAN FORM. IN THIS DISPENSATION HE HAS COME BY
HIMSELF, SENDING NO ONE. HE HAS COME TO ABIDE ON EARTH FOREVER. HE
HAS COME TO PUT THINGS IN THEIR PROPER SHAPES AND POSITIONS. WATCH
AND SEE WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN IN THE WORLD.
4.To call me a Leader is correct because God has provided a living example for you in me in
order to lead you to God's Kingdom. The qualities you see in me are for you to emulate. But
to call me God, no please, I am not the one. The reason I do not worry myself to move from one
place to another to preach is BECAUSE THE FATHER IS HERE, AND ALL THINGS HAVE
BEEN SUBJECTED TO HIM, AND HE IS THE ONE DOING ALL THINGS. HE IS THE
ONE TO RECONCILE THE WHOLE WORLD TO HIMSELF. UNDER HIM I AM
FREE, JUST AS YOU ARE.
4. FIRST BIBLE LESSON: ACTS 1:10-11
"And while they looked steadfastly toward heavens as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in
white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same
Jesus which is taken up from you in heaven shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into
heaven."
THIS PASSAGE DOES NOT SAY THAT CHRIST SHALL DESCEND OR
FLY DOWN THE WAY HE HAD GONE. THE PASSAGE EXPLAINS THAT
THE SAME PERSON, THE SAME HUMAN BODY THAT YOU WATCH
TAKEN UP INTO HEAVEN IN THE SAME BODY SHALL COME BACK.
"IN LIKE MANNER," THEREFORE, MEANS IN THE SAME BODY,
FLESH. WAS CHRIST NOT BROUGHT FORTH BY A WOMAN? IN LIKE
MANNER SHALL THE IRON ROD RULER, THE SAME CHRIST BE
CONCEIVED OF A WOMAN AND BE PUT TO BIRTH. BUT WHETHER
YOU BELIEVE OR NOT, THE ONE DESTINED TO RULE AND WHO HAS
COME TO RULE WILL RULE UNDISTURBED. THE WORLD IS ONLY
BEING JEALOUS. THE SAME JEALOUSY THAT CAUSED LUCIFER TO
DISOBEY GOD'S ORDER AND ALSO CAUSED CAIN TO KILL ABEL.
THE WORLD IS ALWAYS UP IN ARMS AGAINST ANYTHING GOOD.
1. HE HAS COME TO REIGN
FIRST BIBLE LESSON: ACTS 1:19-11

And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by
them in white apparel: Which also said, ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into
heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you in heaven, shall so come in like
manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven.

SECOND BIBLE LESSON: HEBREW 2:7-8

Thou madest him a little lower than angels; thou crownedst Him with glory and honor, and
didst set him over the works of thy hands: Thou hast put all things in subjection under His
feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him.
But now we see not yet all things put under Him.

GOLDEN TEXT: REVELATION 12:5

And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron, and her
child was caught up to God and his throne.

Brethren the three texts form the basis of our sermon. This is not the time to deceive any person,
either with vision or dream or otherwise. It is said the kingdom of this world has become the
kingdom of Jehovah God and His Christ. (Rev 11:15). It is also said that what was done to the
Israelites shall also be done unto the Gentiles. His coming had been revealed, and this is the time
for the manifestation of the revelation.

It was revealed that a young girl would give birth to a male child, and his name will be Emmanuel.
It was also revealed that a woman shall deliver a man child who will rule the world with a rod of
iron. All power in heaven and on earth, according to the revelation, is handed unto this man-child.
The revelation has been fulfilled this day but the world does not know Him. The world is instead
gazing into the sky, going to the mountain tops and gathering stones and sticks to seek for power
and help. Why has this wisdom eluded the whole world?

The problems of the world are brought about by this ignorance. When you say that you cannot
worship any man, who was the one who ascended? Was he a stone or a stick or a fish or an angel?
Which angel has God ever told, "Ye are my son and this day have I begotten thee?" (Heb 1:5).

The angel made it clear through the revelation that the man-child shall be brought forth by a
woman. In the first advent His name was given as Jesus, the Emmanuel, meaning God with man.
But this time around the mystery is that no name has been given. But it is said in the scriptures that
He will come with an iron rod to rule the world. Therefore if you fail to know and recognize this
person who had been empowered to rule the world with an iron rod and into whose hands all power
in heaven and on earth is entrusted, you are doomed.

If all power and authority is given to this being that you refuse to recognize, what will you do on
the day of judgment? All the trees, stones, angels and the rest of the creatures bow down and
worship Him. If you, man, refuse to worship Him, from where will your salvation come? Do you
remember what happened to Lucifer?

In the case of Our Lord Jesus Christ it was prophesied that a young girl should bring forth a male
child and His name shall be called Jesus. But in this case, the revelation is that a woman shall bring
forth a man child who will rule the world with a rod of iron.

This latter revelation has since been fulfilled, and the man child is ruling with a rod of iron. The
problem with the world is that they do not know Him, and instead of seeking to know and
recognize Him they are saying that they cannot worship a man.

THE FIRST ADAM WAS A CHILD OF GOD, AND THE SECOND ADAM WAS A CHILD OF
GOD. THE THIRD ADAM IS THE MANIFESTATION OF THE FATHER, THE SON
AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. HE HAS BEEN GIVEN ALL POWER AND AUTHORITY WITH
WHICH TO RULE THE WHOLE WORLD. HE THEREFORE HAS NOT COME AS A
PREACHER OR PROPHET OR A MESSENGER, BUT AS A KING WITH POWER AND
AUTHORITY TO RULE HEAVEN AND EARTH.

OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAME TODAY, TOMORROW, AND FOREVER.
(Heb 13:8).

The first Christ was given superintendence over the fishes in water, the birds of the air, the
animals in the bushes, the trees and all the things created by God. Since that time that the
authority was given to Him, has He been dethroned? Or has that authority been taken away
from Him? He came back to continue His kingship in the kingdom of His Father which endures
forever. At that time His itinerary was not made a matter of: "no cross, no crown." IN THE SAME
MANNER HE HAS COME AGAIN, NOT ANSWERING JESUS, BUT WITH A NEW
NAME AND WITH A ROD OF IRON TO RULE THE WORLD. HE HAS COME WITH A
NEW NAME WHICH IS WRITTEN BENEATH HIS GARMENT WHICH NO ONE
KNOWS EXCEPT HIMSELF.

THOSE OF YOU WHO QUESTION WHY THE HOLY FATHER HAS NOT
REVEALED THIS WISDOM TO THE ENTIRE WORLD, HAVE YOU
FORGOTTEN HEROD'S INTENTION AND PLANS WHEN HE HEARD
THAT A KING WAS BORN? To make sure that he had no rival and no other person
reigned during his life-time, Herod ordered that all male children of particular ages be
killed. That shows you how wonderful man is. But unfortunately for man, God is
all-knowing.

If God were to disclose to the world, like it was done in the case of Jesus Christ, human beings and
governments would rise up in arms against such a person. Nobody knows whether he is black or
white for now. As the heaven is higher than the earth, so also has God's wisdom surpassed man's.
(Isa 55:9). How will you be able to know this person who is destined to rule the world with a rod of
iron and who has been trusted with all power and authority in heaven and on earth? It is written that
he will come like a thief in the night. (1 Thessl 5:2).

A fool at forty is said to be a fool forever. Being fooled once is understandable; but to be fooled a
second time means you are a fool forever. God has since realized that messengers and prophets and
even His Begotten Son, He has been sending down end up being slain by man. That is why this
time around, He has decided to come by Himself and with full grace. His advent has therefore
eluded the entire world.

The world is wasting its time, energy and money to visit the sun, moon, and stars and the rest
of the planets to investigate and try to find out this mystery. They are merely wasting their
time because power and authority over all the planets is in the hands of this being whose
identity they are trying to unravel.

If your enemy intends to go to war with you and he has one thousand soldiers while you have only
twenty, the only remedy is for you to go and make peace with him. Initially the world had thought
this kingdom to be a thing to joke with. But they have realized that it is not something to toy with.
When a child is born in the world, the people will try to investigate through various ways to know
what kind of a person that child will grow up to be. If they realize that the child is likely to be
prominent, they will find one way or the other to eliminate that child.

*FOR THOSE WHO ARE AWAITING THE ARRIVAL OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST
FROM THE SKY, IF IT SHOULD HAPPEN LIKE THAT WHAT DO YOU THINK THE
ENEMIES WOULD DO? WOULD THEY ALLOW HIM TO LAND AT ALL? AND IF HE
HAS TO LAND AT ALL, WHERE WILL HE LAND? WITH THE HUMAN LAWS OVER
THE LAND, SEA AND AIR, WHERE WILL THE PEOPLE ALLOW HIM TO LAND?
THE SAME THING THAT HAPPENED TO THE ISRAELITES AND THE PEOPLE OF
OLD IS REPEATING ITSELF TODAY.

It was stated in their books that Elijah shall come before the Messiah. (Matt 11:10-15). To make
matters worse for them, Elijah was taken up in the manner that was known by the people, and
because of that all of them expected him to come back in that manner before the arrival of Our
Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore when Christ the Messiah arrived without the appearance of Elijah
as stated in their books, the people disbelieved Him. Even up till now, the Israelites are still
expecting the arrival of Elijah. Their hearts were further hardened to enhance their
disbelief because of their ill will and evil intentions.

The same thing continues today. The people failed to know that John the Baptist who was brought
forth by Elisabeth, was the Elijah who had come to herald the coming of Jesus Christ (Matthew
11:14/ Mark 9:11-13). Herod asked the wise men to inform him after seeing the new-born king so
that he too could go and worship him. If the wise men had gone back to inform him, would Herod
not have gone straight, or sent soldiers, to kill Him? AS GOD HID THAT KNOWLEDGE OF
THE NEW KING FROM THAT GENERATION, SO ALSO HAS HE HIDDEN THE
KNOWLEDGE OF THE IRON ROD RULER FROM THE PRESENT GENERATION.

He has said in John 14: 19 that, "Yet a little while the world seeth me no more; but ye see me;
because I live, ye shall live also." Therefore when you pray God to reveal this mystery to the
whole world, do you imagine what eyes they would want to see this kingdom with? THOSE
WHOM HE DESIRES TO SEE AND TO KNOW HIM HE HAS REVEALED HIMSELF
UNTO THEM. The worldly people are unbelievers and they do not like the truth. If you
want to pass through a place where your enemies are, you have to do so quietly. Equally, if
you want to go and rob somebody and you set off from your house with a bell and a public
address system, ringing and shouting as you walk ahead, before ever you reach your
destination, information shall have reached him and he would appropriately get himself
ready for you or he would simply flee the house. He has come like a thief to surprise and
arrest all who do not believe in Him and also resist His governance.

In any case, what concerns us today is the revelation of the angel about the man-child and what
will happen. THE ANGEL DID NOT SAY THAT HE WILL DESCEND FROM
THE SKY. THE MEANING OF THE PASSAGE IS THAT: AS HE CAME AS A MAN,
IN LIKE MANNER, SHALL HE COME BACK. Man has eyes but cannot see, has ears but
cannot hear, and the mind but cannot perceive. Their hearts have further been hardened so
that they would continue in their ignorance. EVEN AS THE MESSIAH WAS BROUGHT
FORTH BY A WOMAN, SO ALSO SHALL THE ONE WHO WILL RULE THE WORLD
WITH A ROD OF IRON BE BROUGHT FORTH BY A WOMAN. ALL POWER,
AUTHORITY AND GLORY IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO
HIM. IF THEREFORE YOU SAY YOU CANNOT WORSHIP MAN, BUT YOU PREFER
TO WORSHIP STONES, TREES, WATER, LEAF, OR SAND, HAS GOD EVER GIVEN
HIS POWER TO THESE ELEMENTS AS HE GAVE MAN?

This thing is not revealed to you so that you will go and preach to unbelievers. It is
revealed to you in the first place as one who has been called in here to share in
the marriage feast and also so that you will gird up your loins. The disciples of Our
Lord Jesus Christ asked Him why He spoke to other people in parables, but spoke to them, the
disciples, in plain language? He told them it been written that he who has little, the same will be
taken away from him and added to that of the person who has much. (Matt 25:29).God has further
blinded the eyes and blocked the ears of those who doubt and disbelieve so that they will not see
and hear. He has also hardened their hearts that they may not believe. But He has opened the eyes
and ears of those who are His children and broadened their minds to understand His injunctions
and obey and to behold his glory.

THIS PASSAGE DOES NOT SAY THAT CHRIST SHALL DESCEND OR FLY DOWN
THE WAY HE HAD GONE. THE PASSAGE EXPLAINS THAT THE SAME PERSON,
THE SAME HUMAN BODY THAT YOU WATCH TAKEN UP INTO HEAVEN IN THE
SAME BODY SHALL COME BACK. "IN LIKE MANNER," THEREFORE, MEANS IN
THE SAME BODY, FLESH. WAS CHRIST NOT BROUGHT FORTH BY A WOMAN?
IN LIKE MANNER SHALL THE IRON ROD RULER, THE SAME CHRIST BE
CONCEIVED OF A WOMAN AND BE PUT TO BIRTH. BUT WHETHER YOU
BELIEVE OR NOT, THE ONE DESTINED TO RULE AND WHO HAS COME TO RULE
WILL RULE UNDISTURBED. The world is only being jealous. The same jealousy that
caused Lucifer to disobey God's order and also caused Cain to kill Abel. The world is always
up in arms against anything good.

If it is a woman that will bring forth the man child who will rule the world with a rod of iron, then
what about the one the world is expecting from the sky? What and where will he rule? If God had
given all power and authority in heaven and on earth to the one who is to rule the world with a rod
of iron, and who shall be born of a woman, the one who is expected to crashland, where will he
have his power and authority? Those of you who say you cannot worship man, where will you be?
The Second Lesson says He has been made a little lower than the angels. He has been
crowned with glory and honor and all things put in subjection under His feet. It is said that
when God shall send forth His first born into the earth, He shall instruct all the angels to
worship Him and serve Him. Who are you, man to object to His rule? One angel is capable of
destroying the whole world, yet with such power they all bow down and worship this man-child.
This is the same being into whose hand all power and authority has been trusted and the same
person has control and superintendence over all things created in heaven and on earth, including
the angels. His power is therefore indescribable. Two cocks, it is said, cannot crow on the same
rooftop.

THERE IS TIME FOR EVERYTHING: WHEN HE CAME AS THE SON, HE CAME TO BE

KILLED SO THAT SALVATION WOULD COME TO THE ENTIRE WORLD. BUT
THIS TIME AROUND HE HAS COME TO RULE WITH ALL POWER AND
AUTHORITY UNLIMITED. What is happening now in the communist countries is not
wrought by man. If any man were to claim responsibility for the events in these countries,
would all nations not rise against such a man? Therefore, God's wisdom, His power, His love
and promise surpass human knowledge. Many people are fasting or asking God to reveal
Himself to them if He has come, or to let them see signs. What they rather see are ghosts,
mermaids, apparition and witches and wizards. That notwithstanding, there are others who
see the Lord and speak with Him.

From time immemorial it is man that is usually glorified and not an animal or a tree. That is why
since Adam and Eve were driven from the Garden of Eden no other creature has been given
admission into the place. It is said that if one has been destined to rule then he will rule. It is man
that lost the glory; and the glory shall return once again to no other being than man. Adam and Eve
came as human beings, and offended God, and had to be punished. God in His infinite mercy and
love has come to glorify the same man. When a father beats his child with the right hand, he uses
the left to get the child back unto himself.

The basic entry qualification into this kingdom therefore, is Righteousness. That is why I tell you
that this kingdom does not admit hatred, division, anger, fornication, idolatry and the rest of the
vices. This message is given to you so that you will know that you are in the kingdom of God. The
problem of the world is that they do not recognize the person, the man-child, into whose hands all
the power and authority have been trusted. His name has not been mentioned.

God is man, the Son of God is man, the Holy Spirit is man and even an angel is man. When
you say that you cannot worship man, are you not a child or perdition? Brotherhood of Cross and
Star therefore obeys man, respects man, loves man, worships and rejoices with man. It is said Let
brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained
angels unawares. (HEBREW 13:1-2). GOD AT EACH ADVENT TAKES UP HUMAN
FORM AND MANIFEST AS MAN. HE DOES NOT COME WITH A PARTICULAR OR
SPECIAL UNIFORM TO DISTINGUISH HIM AND IDENTIFY HIM TO THE WORLD.
IF YOU PRAY TO GOD TO HELP YOU OUT OF A PROBLEM AND INCIDENTALLY
SOMEBODY APPEARS AND HELPS YOU, WHO DO YOU THINK THAT PERSON IS?
IS HE NOT GOD? THE FACT IS THAT FLESH AND BLOOD CANNOT KNOW HIM. IF
YOUR NAME HAS BEEN WRITTEN IN THAT BOOK OF LIFE, YOU WILL SEE HIM
WITH YOUR SPIRITUAL EYES. It is said that blessed are they that are invited to the marriage
feast. This is indeed the luckiest generation. There has never been another generation where there
is more abundance of God’s love, mercy, peace, patience and glory unto mankind. What caused
the Israelites to perish, and even up till this day, is because they refused to worship the man who
was sent to them. They claimed that Jesus Christ whom they knew, and His parents they also knew
and so, they could not worship Him. They were rather waiting for Elijah, whom they believed
would descend from the sky. Up till now they are still waiting for Elijah's arrival. God is man and
has life. No flesh and blood could of course have known Him. THE SAME GOD HAS COME
TO TEACH US HOW TO SERVE GOD AND PLEASE HIM. WHAT A LUCKY
GENERATION!

SECOND BIBLE LESSON: HEBREWS 2:7-8

Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honor,
and didst set him over the works of thy hands; thou has put all things in subjection under
His feet. For in that he put all in subjection under Him, He left nothing that is not put under
Him. But now we see not yet all things put under Him.

Those of you who worship angels and the rest of the things and call upon them to save you, have
they been given power? The absolute power has been bestowed upon man. If you have your hope
and belief in Holy Oil, vision, Biakpan water, etc. is it written that there is power bestowed
on these things? It is said that all power in heaven and on earth has been given to man.

It is said ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. YOUR FRIENDS AND
RELATIONS AND EVEN YOUR PARENTS MAY REJECT YOU ONCE THEY KNOW
THAT YOU HAVE KNOWN THE TRUTH. THEIR HATRED IS THAT ONCE YOU
KNOW THE TRUTH YOU ARE BOUND TO BE FREE FROM THEIR TENTACLES.
ALL YOUR FRIENDS, RELATIONS AND PARENTS CAN DECEIVE YOU AND LET
YOU DOWN BUT THE HOLY FATHER WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU COMFORTLESS.
ALWAYS LOOK UNTO THE FATHER, FOR HE ALONE IS THE ONLY SOURCE OF
SALVATION. If you go to a visioner and buy him food, clothing, and build him a house, will
he or she help you? Many people have wasted all their wealth in ministerial work and celebrating
feast, yet these things could not bring salvation unto them. Others pray, burn incense, read the six
and seven books of Moses and say incantations, calling on the names of angels. All these things
cannot help them. DO NOT THEREFORE HOPE ON OR BELIEVE IN ANY OTHER
THING THAN IN GOD ALONE WHO HIMSELF IS MAN, UNTO WHOSE HANDS ALL
POWER IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH HAS BEEN ENTRUSTED. IT IS SAID THAT
ALL THINGS ARE PUT IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET. Except this thing is revealed
to you, you cannot know it and you cannot know Him.

You could employ the services of the police or army and give them ammunition to guard and
protect you yet you may still be killed. This is so because it was not written that these people will
protect life and property. That is why the same police, army and other security agents who are
armed to the teeth to protect life and property always turn around to kill and destroy. They are
self-centered and rebellious. The angels also are rebellious and unsympathetic, and that was why
Lucifer refused to obey God's instruction. But God is all loving, patient, kind and good. When
Lucifer discovered that a kingdom has been provided for man in the Garden of Eden, he became
angry and went straight and deceived him so that man would be driven from it. He was happy
when man was driven from the Garden of Eden and he thought that the kingdom would be handed
to him. That did not happen, for God has his own thoughts and still reserved the kingdom for man.
He has come to lead man back into that lost kingdom. That is why Satan has intensified efforts to
fight man and mislead man so that he will not enter that kingdom. GOD IS LOVE, THE
TRUTH, MERCY, PEACE, PATIENCE, HOPE, FAITH, AND EVERYTHING GOOD.
YOU CANNOT GET CLOSE TO HIM WITH ANY FILTH. MAN HAS BEEN
SUFFERING AND TODAY HE CONTINUES TO SUFFER BECAUSE HE DEPENDS ON
THE ANGELS FOR EXISTENCE AND GUIDANCE. THE LAWS THAT WERE GIVEN,
EVEN THE TEN COMMANDMENTS HANDED TO MOSES AND THE PUNISHMENTS
THAT ACCOMPANIED THEM CAME FROM THE ANGEL. GOD IS SO MERCIFUL
AND KIND AND HE DOES NOT WANT ANY PERSON TO SUFFER. SHORTLY
THERE WILL BE NO MORE ROBBERY, FIGHTING, KILLING, AND OPPRESSION
IN THE WHOLE WORLD. HE HAS COME TO SAVE MANKIND WHETHER OR NOT
MAN ACCEPTS HIM. HE HAS NOT COME TO PARADE HIMSELF ALONG THE
STREETS, OR TO APPEAR ON THE TELEVISION, OR TO PERFORM MIRACLES.
HE HAS BEEN ENDOWED AND ADORNED WITH ALL POWER AND GLORY TO
RULE. HE HAS COME TO STRAIGHTEN ALL THE THINGS THAT HAD BEEN
CROOKED. HAVING BEEN ENDOWED AND ADORNED WITH ALL POWER AND
GLORY WHAT DOES HE NEED FROM MAN OR ANY OTHER CREATURE? HE
RULES WITH LOVE, PEACE, MERCY, PATIENCE AND ALL THE VIRTUES. He
wants all nations to be one, all to be well fed, clothed, sheltered, and free from the bondage of
Satan, sin, and from sickness. Can any man do these works? That is why He does not have the
need to consult any person for any advice, because human beings themselves are deceitful and
selfish. He has the power and authority to do anything. He is complete. There is therefore no need
to go about preaching to man or animals that God has come. What is the usefulness? What is man
capable of doing to God? THOSE OF YOU GOD HAS CALLED TO PARTICIPATE IN
THIS MARRIAGE FEAST SHOULD ONLY STRIVE TO FORSAKE SIN. HE HAS
COME TO FREE THE OPPRESSED AND TO LEAD THE WORLD UNTO THE
ACCURATE WISDOM OF THE TRUTH. WHATEVER SITUATION YOU FIND
YOURSELF IN, JUST CALL UPON HIM AND HE WILL ANSWER YOU.

GOLDEN TEXT: REVELATION 12:5

"And she brought forth a man child who has to rule all nations with a rod of iron; and her
child was caught up to God and His throne."
Does any scientist know anything about the above passage? Does any church have any idea about
the passage? Do the secret societies know anything about that passage? That a woman brought
forth a man-child who would rule all nations with a rod of iron? This is a passage all of us should
fast and pray over and be careful of our activities in view of this passage. The passage summarizes
the theme of this gospel. He has not come to go about from street to street begging for anything or
to campaign for anything. He has come to rule and to reign and is seated on His throne in His
Kingdom. The first lesson made it clear as was stated unto the Galileans, "...Why stand ye gazing
up into heaven? This same Jesus which is taken up from you unto heaven shall so come in like
manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." The second lesson states clearly that man, though
made a little lower than the angels, has been crowned with glory and honor and all things have
been put in subjection under his feet. Still, man has not come to this understanding.

Other spirits had been here even before the creation and the advent of Adam and Eve, but God did
not find it fit to give that glory and power to the spirits. The angels, the trees, the animals, the
fishes, the birds and the rest of creation, had existed before Adam was created. But he did not find
it fit to glorify those creatures and bestow His power and authority on them. If you continue to
resist the rulership of man, pray fervently for yourself. Those who claim to worship only the
Living God should continue. What many people do today is to punish man, disagree with man,
imprison him and do all sorts of things to him. People assemble stones, sticks, sand and leaves and
worship them and nobody complains. But if you say you worship man, you are immediately
condemned. People believe and worship juju, soothsayers, mermaids, amulets and the rest of fetish
things. But you stand aptly condemned if you say you worship man.

This gospel is to bring to your knowledge the fact that man has been destined to rule and therefore
been endowed and adorned with power and authority to do so. Therefore, whether the person is
white or black, young or old, short or tall, it does not matter. All you have to know is that he is man.
He was born on earth. Where he is born and how he looks like is what the world does not know.
The only pointer to his physical manifestation is the state of things in the world today. But man
does not care to give a second thought to these things. The churches, the institution of higher
learning, the secret societies, companies, governments and indeed the entire world have all failed
and they are all empty. The three wise men who went with gifts to pay homage to the new born
king did not bow down and worship a stone or stick or any other thing on their arrival. It is made
clear that they bowed down and worshipped the new born child called Emmanuel, meaning God
with man. It was also revealed that the young girl shall bring forth a child and his name shall bring
salvation to mankind. He came and completed that assignment. IT WAS AGAIN WRITTEN
THAT HE SHALL REAPPEAR IN HUMAN FORM AND HE SHALL CARRY OUT
GREATER ASSIGNMENTS. That is why we are told that a woman shall bring forth a man child
who will rule the world with an iron rod. That glory and honor has been given to him and all power
has been brought in subjection under his feet. If this man-child could wield such enormous and
unlimited power, would Satan then be left with any power at all? Could Satan or death, or Hades,
or any angels or any man for that matter be more powerful than the man-child? His position is
incontestable and His power unrivalled. That is why when I hear you say that Our Lord Jesus
Christ had died, I rebuke you, because you are saying what you do not know. If His kingship were
to be carnal, by now He would have been dethroned. That is why when you say that man passes
man and position passes power, I prove you wrong. FOR HE WHO HAS POWER IS GREATER
THE PERSON WHO HAS THE POSITION. That is why a king can easily be dethroned by his
subjects at will and a government or president can be overthrown at anytime by the people, the
masses or electorate. This is so because, these are the people who have the real power in their
hands.

Christ said through Paul that the Kingdom of God does not consist in eating and drinking but is
power. This further proves to you that power surpasses position. If you ask God to give you
money, wife, husband, children, houses, and so on, what would you do with all those things if you
have no power? But any person who has power can just come around and take all your property
away from you. That is why this man-child has come with glory and honor to rule the world. No
person has ever come and ruled the world with an iron rod, except this man-child. That is why all
power in heaven and on earth is brought to total subjection under His feet. If you therefore call
Him Jesus, or prophet, or any name other than the iron rod ruler, you have failed. If you also pray
saying Our Father who art in heaven or on earth you have equally failed. He is seated on His throne
in His Father's Kingdom. HE HAS COME IN HIS GLORY AND NEVER TO MOVE FROM
PLACE TO PLACE TO PLACE FOR ANYTHING. IF THEREFORE YOU FIND
ANYBODY OR PERSONS WHO GO FROM PLACE TO PLACE, CLAIMING TO BE
THE PROMISED ONE, KNOW THAT THAT PERSON IS A DECEIVER AND A
HUNGRY PERSON. His power is not limited to any particular geographical areas or planet. His
power stretches forth to all the planets, all the nations and unto all humanity and creation. His
kingdom and power have neither beginning nor end. His kingship in not ordinary, or man-made
and therefore is unshakable and irresistible. May God bless His Holy Words. AMEN.

2. I AM NOT GOD BUT OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU
FIRST BIBLE LESSON: REVELATION 11:15

"And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of
this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign forever and
ever."

SECOND BIBLE LESSON: 1 CORINTHIANS 15:28

"And when all things shall be subdued unto Him, then shall the Son also himself be subject
unto Him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all."

GOLDEN TEXT: REVELATION 21:3

"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men,
and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be with
them, and be their God."

Brethren the Word of God is not something that can be revealed through human wisdom or to be
interpreted by the wisdom of this world. It is not something that is written down on papers. It has
been fixed from the foundation of the world. If you subtract or add to it you make yourself a
confusionist, and must suffer the penalty.

It is an undisputable fact that no one hates Brotherhood. The problem is that you members of
Brotherhood do not abide by the Word of God you are given from day to day. You have left what
you should do, and gone to do what you are supposed not to do.

This is where the confusion lies. For you to say that a man is God, or that Olumba Olumba Obu is
God, puts you out of gear. God has been doing his work by Himself from the beginning of creation.
Adam, Moses, Abraham or Christ did not say that they were God. Even Jesus Christ simply said
that He was the Son sent by the Father. Now God has come by Himself to do His will, and exalt His
glory.

There is no doubt that the Son is also with all the hosts of heaven. In accordance with God's divine
purpose that, at the fullness of time, He will make His dwelling among men, He has now come to
dwell with you. It is foolishness to keep waiting for the Son of God in the sky or in the clouds; for
this is not the time for son, angel or prophets. But it is the time for God to manifest His multifarious
glory to mankind. All the children of God are here. It is time for all glories, gratitude, praises and
thanks to be given to God direct; for He is here to manifest His will on earth.
You are all witnesses. The entire world is my witness, even the angels, that I have never said that I
am God; and that I have never denied that it is the Father who is doing all the work being done on
earth today.
In ages past, the Father was still the one who was doing His work through intermediaries. But these
individuals were given the praises instead of God. Now at the fullness of time, God has come in
person to receive all praises, honors, and thanks that are due Him. Moses confessed that he was not
the one doing these works in his days. But his brothers attributed all glories to him. The same with
Jesus the Christ. He used to proclaim: "I can do nothing of my own will; for I do not do my will
but the will of him that sent me". (John 5:30). Yet the followers gave the glory to Jesus Christ.
FOR THIS REASON GOD HAS COME TO RECEIVE THE GLORIES DUE HIM
BEFORE THE WORLD WAS.

God had sent angels and prophets to do these works. They were unable. He finally sent His Son.
They held Him as the heir, and killed Him. Whom do you think then that the Father will send? He
now comes by Himself as the owner of the vineyard. For now the question is: what will the owner
of the vineyard do to those who killed His Son, the heir? Read Matthew chapter twenty-one. He
did not promise to send the Son again; but to come Himself after this. This generation is very
fortunate to see the day that God has come down personally to receive His glories and honors.

It is true that the visioners have been able to see that Christ is now on earth. But have they been
able to see the parousia of the one who created the heavens and the earth? This great personality
has come to make His dwelling place among men. It is said that the one to govern will govern with
an Iron Rod and that the government will take control over the earth. This is the Father's
government in power.

Although people must have had the belief that God does all things, this is not enough; because the
glories and honours were not given to God but to intermediaries. Take up your Bible. Refer to all
publications. Take a cursory glance at the world today. See the rulers and the governments of
mankind, and you will be convinced that the Bible is inspired, and not the work of any human
imagination. Worldly wisdom or technical know-how does not come in here. This government is
Theocratic. Therefore for you to tell people that Leader Olumba Olumba Obu is God, you have
automatically made God to be a man. That is why people suspect that there is some hidden power
underneath in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. For, according to them, Jesus Christ who was the
son of God came and died; and had at no time spoken in the first person. But here is Leader
Olumba Olumba Obu, an ordinary human being they know, and you say he is God. What will
happen if he dies? What will happen to Brotherhood of the Cross and Star? Who will be able to
step in and do his works? These and many other flipping questions are presented to the world by
the people of the world.

In fact they will go as far as saying that Moses came with some powers, but he died. They will
mention quite a number of great men who trod this earth but died; and they will ask you whether
Leader Olumba Olumba Obu will never die. Because if he dies, his followers will be subjected to
greater sufferings, since there will be no one to lead them and perform the mighty works now seen
in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.

From day to day you are forced to answer them what you feel is correct because you are
responsible for these questions. You do not abide by the truth preached to you. You show lack of
faith in God. Have I ever told you that this power is mine; or that I have any power of my own?
Have I ever told you that I even exist at all? Moses and others who came were powerful people.
Jesus the Christ was powerful. But all I know is that now, the God who created the heavens and the
earth has come down to make His dwelling among mankind. He is the one doing all these works,
and not myself.

In the time of Moses you will remember that there was power by the use of the Ark of the
Covenant, and the use of the Staff.

There was the burning of incense and lighting of candles. Have you ever seen me using a Staff,
burning incense, lighting candles, drawing circles, using consecrated handkerchiefs, holding a
wooden or metal cross or the like?

This is not the time for incantations. IN THE TIME OF JESUS THE CHRIST HE MOVED
FROM PLACE TO PLACE. He preached openly in marketplaces. He would speak, and the
dead would rise. He at times would touch the blind, and the blind would receive their sight.
HAVE YOU EVER SEEN ME MOVING FROM ONE PLACE TO
ANOTHER, OR EVEN PRAYING FOR THE SICK, OR TOUCHING THE
INFIRM TO GET WELL? But many of these dead ones today have come back to life. The
blind ones are daily receiving their sight; and even greater works are going on without a word.

WHO THEN IS DOING ALL THESE WORKS? IS THIS NOT CLEAR EVIDENCE
THAT THE OWNER OF THE VINEYARD HAS ARRIVED? GIVE GLORY TO THE
FATHER, FOR HE IS HERE HIMSELF DOING HIS WORKS. When you talk of powerful
works, you may mention Lazarus who died for four days, and was brought back to life by Jesus.
Jesus had to go to the grave, and pray tearfully, before Lazarus came back to life. Jesus Himself
died only to come back to life after three days. But today we have seen something more significant,
something more striking. We have seen someone dead, and come back to life after seven days. The
raising of the dead is a hobby in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.

These great works are accomplished without a word or formalities. These are clear evidences that
the Father is now here doing His works. Just fancy the number of insane persons that are brought
here. No physical treatment is given to them; and in fact, all they do is remain here; and when their
time is come, they go home completely healed. And what about your personal problems and
difficulties? Do you not witness how they are overcome without the assistance of anyone? Does
this not prove to you that these works are not done by any human being but by God Himself? Why
not give the credit to God; or does God not merit this glory?

This is where the world is confused when you tell them that Leader O. O. Obu is God, and that
Leader O. O. Obu is the one doing all these works. Do you not see how confused they are? FOR
THEY LOOK AROUND, AND AT NO TIME DO THEY SEE LEADER O. O.
OBU MOVING FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER. HOW THEN DOES
HE PERFORM THESE THINGS? May be there is some hidden thing underneath; they
suspect, and give it a name.
Many of you have been members of some secret societies. You have been members of different
religious organizations. Did you ever see your leaders appearing to you physically, in dreams
or otherwise? Did they take away your problems at your mere sight of them? Did you see
them speaking just a word, and it takes effect at once?

Brethren, I must tell you that the work you see here is not done by any man, angel or prophet, or
even by the Son; but it is the Father who is at work now.

I would like to recall to your mind the great works done by Moses and others. Moses used the staff
before Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and demonstrated some sorts of powers. Jesus Christ came and
brought many dead people back to life. But how many people were converted for God? How
many were changed from their former ways of life? But today you have been transformed,
and given a new personality in accordance with the Divine Will. Is Obu the one that has
changed you to be what you are?

I had publicly told you that I have never been a member of any church or society. I have never
received any education of this world except as a child. The works you now witness in
Brotherhood are done by the Father; and all thanks and praises, glory and honour must be
given to God the Father for His benevolence (JOHN 14:10). I have no power of my own. I do
not read from any book of this worldly system of things. Take it from me that God is the one doing
the things now on earth according to His promise. Some of you who have children do discipline
them to mold them up in a good way. But in your case who disciplines you here? Who suspends
you here in order to become useful vessels unto God?

Have you ever seen anyone suspended in Brotherhood? THIS IS ANOTHER EVIDENCE
THAT GOD HAS COME DOWN PERSONALLY TO CHANGE HIS CHILDREN, AND
RECONCILE THEM TO HIMSELF. To be candid, God is the one who instigates the world to
ask you all these questions about the power in Brotherhood. Because He is a Jealous God, He does
not want His glory to be given to any other; for He deserves exclusive honor. For although the
people may believe what is done here in Brotherhood, the mere fact that you say that this work is
done by a man, makes it become fantastic.
FIRST BIBLE LESSON: REVELATION 11:15:

Where then are the wise men? Where then are the debaters of the fact? God has made the wisdom
of this world to perish. Only God's wisdom rules supreme. God is here to rule; and so He has
maneuvered the kingdoms of this world to become His and that of His Christ, and He must rule
forever and ever. Therefore, if you had regarded yourself as a wise person, please become a fool so
that you may become wise. (1Cor 3:18). In the world today you cannot see any stable government.
The same with schools, industries, universities, and other establishments. Industrial actions are the
order of the day. Boycotting of classes is the drill of the students. Unrest, hatred, confusion and
chaos are everywhere.

This is so because this is a transitional period, a time for handing over the kingdoms of this world
to God. For this reason Jesus the Christ said:"You have heard that I said to you, I am going
away and I am coming back to you. If you loved me you would rejoice that I am." (John
14:28). When a person is sent to a strange land on an errand, he is honored in view of the person
that sent him. But when the person that sent him accompanies him to that very place, he who was
formerly sent there is no more given the honor. The Master, who was, now receives the honor.

The prophets came and were honored. The angels came and received their honor and praises. The
Son came and was glorified. BUT NOW THE FATHER IS HERE WITH ALL THOSE HE
SENT BEFORE. THEREFORE ALL GLORIES AND HONOUR NO MORE GO TO
ANYONE OF THOSE SENT, BUT TO THE FATHER WHO IS THE OWNER OF THE
VINEYARD.

I am speaking boldly before the angels, prophets, all the children of God, and the entire world that
the works that are done in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, and the entire world are not
performed by any man or angel or prophet, but by the Father Himself; and wherever you are in this
world, you will feel the impact of His power. You have every reason to sing and rejoice because
God's dwelling is now with man.

Do you know that some of you are angels, some are prophets, children of God and apostles? This
notwithstanding, the Father does the work by Himself. From today, after hearing this gospel, never
repeat the mistake to say that Leader O. O. Obu is the one doing these works; otherwise you are a
stumbling block to others. JESUS CHRIST PREACHED AND PERFORMED MIRACLES.
WAS THAT SUFFICIENT TO TURN THE WORLD OF MANKIND TO GOD?
THERE IS NO OTHER FORCE THAT DOES THIS. THE FACT IS THAT CHRIST IS HERE
IN BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR. THE ANGELS ARE HERE. THE
PROPHETS ARE HERE. ALL THE CHILDREN OF GOD ARE HERE; AND THE
CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH IS HERE IN BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS
AND STAR. Make no mistake to say that Leader O. O. Obu is the one doing these works in the
world, otherwise you blaspheme against God by taking Him to be a mere man. Read through the
publications here in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. You will never see where I proclaim
myself to be God; or have I told you I am educated?

I HAVE NEVER ATTENDED ANY SCHOOL OF LEARNING OR ANY THEOLOGICAL

SEMINARY TO QUALIFY EVEN AS A PREACHER. BUT ALL I SAY IS THIS: "THAT
THE FATHER WHO IS GOD IS THE ONE DOING THESE WORKS." BUT HOW ELSE
CAN I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?

Go to all parts of the world. You will see the children of God serving God. Have you ever seen me
in those places? Or does God not merit this glory? Or do you not know that all thanks and glory
must be given to Him now? There is no pastor or prophet or any man on earth that should be given
the glory due to God.

ANYONE WHO RECEIVES THE GLORY DUE TO GOD IS A BLASPHEMER. I HAVE

NOT HIDDEN ANYTHING FROM YOU; BUT I HAVE SPOKEN TO YOU PUBLICLY
AND PRIVATELY THAT THE FATHER IS THE ONE DOING THESE WORKS. HE IS
THE ONE THAT PRAYS, SINGS, PREACHES, AND PERFORMS ALL THE
WONDROUS WORKS NOW ON EARTH. THINK OF IT. If a person does not have even a
single kobo (penny); and people go about saying that he is a millionaire, is that not mockery
and a very shameful thing? Likewise when you say that Leader O. O. Obu has power, and
that he is the one doing these works, you are making yourself a liar. I am grateful to God
that I have never at any time told you that I am the one doing these works. I have at all times
attributed all glory to the Father. Let the second Bible lesson be read.
SECOND BIBLE LESSON: 1 CORINTHIANS 15:28.

"And when all things shall be subdued unto Him, then shall the Son also be subject unto
Him that put all things under Him, that God may be all in all."

IT IS TRUE THAT GOD SUBJECTED EVERYTHING TO CHRIST. BUT NOW CHRIST

MUST SUBJECT EVERYTHING TO THE FATHER SO THAT THE FATHER MAY BE
ALL THINGS, AND DO ALL THINGS. NOW IS THE FULLNESS OF TIME. NOW IS
THE TIME FOR THE GLORY TO BE GIVEN TO THE FATHER SINCE JESUS
CHRIST HAS NOW SUBJECTED ALL THINGS TO HIM. IF YOU SAY THAT ALL
THINGS ARE DONE BY THE FATHER, IT MEANS THAT THE SON, THE ANGELS
AND THE CHILDREN OF GOD ARE INCLUSIVE. BUT IF YOU SAY YOU ARE THE
ONE DOING THE WORK, OR THAT THE WORK IS EITHER DONE BY THE SON OR
THE ANGELS, YOU HAVE DISGRACED GOD.

Where then is God? And where were you when the Son was sent? Did you not hear the Son crying
with a loud voice on the cross, saying: "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" That is
why the worldly people say that there must be something hidden underneath in Brotherhood.
Why? Because even Jesus, the Son of God, came and died; and at times when they plot against
you, and fail woefully, they wonder what force should have overcome their plot. Or when in your
place of work a termination paper is made for you, but later turns out to be your promotion, they
become blood-stilled. Or even when they spend sleepless nights planning evil against you, and you
are enjoying an undisturbed sleep, they wonder. These and many other surprises give the world
food for thought, that there must be something underneath here in Brotherhood. Are these
evidences not enough for you to give glory to God?

If in your office you are promoted, and you attributed the promotion to God by saying: "I thank
God for promoting me, "your boss will be mad at you, and may most likely withdraw your
promotion because you do not give him the glory. IF I HAD NOT TOLD YOU THIS THING
THEN YOU WOULD BE CORRECT TO SAY THAT I AM THE ONE DOING THE
WORK, BUT NOW THAT I HAVE TOLD YOU THAT GOD IS THE ONE DOING ALL
THE WORKS, YOU ARE INEXCUSABLE. THEREFORE ANYONE SAYING THAT
LEADER OBU IS THE ONE DOING THE WORK IS A LIAR, AND IF LEADER OBU
SAYS HE IS THE ONE DOING THESE WORKS, IT IS FALSE. GOD FORBID! I HAVE
NEVER SAID SO, BUT RATHER THAT ALL PRAISES AND GLORY SHOULD BE
GIVEN TO GOD THE FATHER THE DOER OF THESE THINGS. ALL THAT YOU DO
HERE, WHETHER YOU KNEEL DOWN, KNOCK YOUR FOREHEADS ON THE
GROUND, OR ADDRESS A LETTER TO ME, YOU ARE IN FACT DOING THESE
THINGS NOT TO ME BUT TO GOD THE FATHER.

Brethren, I have examined myself very well. I do not have any power of my own. I have no
wisdom of my own. I am not a preacher neither am I the doer of anything. YOU MUST KNOW
THAT EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE GODS, YOU ARE NOT GOD. AND ALTHOUGH
YOU ARE SONS, YOU ARE NOT THE SON. YOU MUST KNOW THAT THIS IS THE
TIME TO GIVE GOD HIS DUE GLORY. DO NOT SEEK ANY GLORY AGAIN
BECAUSE THE ONE THAT HAS THE LEGAL RIGHT HAS COME TO RULE.

Those who charge money for the powerful works they perform do so because they perceive that
power belongs to them. This is false. ALL OF YOU ARE GOD'S VESSELS AND TOOLS.
THEREFORE GIVE GLORY TO GOD IN ALL THAT HE DOES FROM DAY TO DAY.
BRETHREN, PUT THIS GOSPEL INTO PRACTICE BECAUSE THE SON HAS
SURRENDERED ALL THINGS TO THE FATHER, AND THE FATHER HAS BECOME ALL
THINGS.

TO CALL ME A LEADER IS CORRECT BECAUSE GOD HAS PROVIDED A LIVING

EXAMPLE FOR YOU IN ME IN ORDER TO LEAD YOU TO GOD'S KINGDOM. THE
QUALITIES YOU SEE IN ME ARE FOR YOU TO EMULATE. BUT TO CALL ME GOD,
NO PLEASE, I AM NOT THE ONE. THE REASON I DO NOT WORRY MYSELF TO
MOVE FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER TO PREACH IS BECAUSE THE FATHER
IS HERE, AND ALL THINGS HAVE BEEN SUBJECTED TO HIM, AND HE IS THE
ONE DOING ALL THINGS. HE IS THE ONE TO RECONCILE THE WHOLE WORLD TO
HIMSELF. UNDER HIM I AM FREE, JUST AS YOU ARE.

All gifts that you receive are from Him; and all that you give out are also from Him. I have
taught you all these things. I have given you this truth that God is the one you must worship;
and all glory must be given to Him direct, and not to any man.

God who is now on earth has instructed us to love one another just as He loves us. You must
obey His voice. We must love Him because He loves us, and calls us His children. Our being
gods is also because He wishes us to be thus, all to His glory. Today He has informed us that
all things have been subjected to Him, and that all glory should be given to Him. God has
come down to rule this world for eternity. Go and tell the world that Christ, angels, prophets,
and the children of God are here to witness the rule of God over the universe. God's words never go
unfulfilled.

It was prophesied that a virgin will conceive and bear a male child. This was so. (Isa 7:14).
Another prophesy had it that a woman will conceive and bear a male child, and that this child will
rule the whole world (Isa 9:6) with an iron rod (Rev 12:5). This has also been fulfilled.

Another prophesy said that God will, at His appointed time, make His dwelling among men (Lev
26:11-12). Today, this prophesy is fulfilled. (Rev 21:3). "God is here now to take control over
all things. Give glory to God, the Father, always."

When Jesus Christ was on the Cross He cried with a loud voice: "My God, my God, why hast
thou forsaken me?" (Matt 27:46 / Mark 15:34). If God did not get out from Him, He would not
have been killed. SO TODAY THAT GOD HAS COME TO DWELL WITH YOU. WHAT
CAN A MAN DO TO YOU? Why do you panic and fear? You have maximum protection,
security and satisfaction. For ages now man has tried by his own efforts to forsake sin. But he has
been unable. But now God has come to change people, and sanctify them for Himself. Let all those
who do not believe in the existence of God weep; for they must see God in His full glory and
majesty now. May we hear the golden text.
GOLDEN TEXT: REVELATION 21:3

"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men,
and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with
them, and be their God."
Has this statement not come to pass in this generation? Does this refer to angels, prophets or the
Son? Never! IT REFERS TO THE FATHER, GOD. HE IS THE ONE TO DWELL WITH
MEN. When we talk of Brotherhood we are referring to the heavens and the earth and the
universe.

Today the talk of the town is that Brotherhood of the Cross and Star has subdued all forces and
powers in the world; a clear evidence that God has taken control over all things. YES, FOR
YEARS THE LITTLE SALT GIVEN YOU WAS INSUFFICIENT FOR YOUR MEAL.
THIS WAS SO IN TERMS OF POWER OF THE ANGELS, PROPHETS AND EVEN,
THE SON. BUT NOW THE SOURCE OF ALL DYNAMIC POWERS HAS ARRIVED.
ALL THINGS ANIMATE AND INANIMATE, SEEN AND UNSEEN MUST SUBMIT TO
THE SUPREME BEING, THE GUEST OF THE TIME. ALL KINGDOMS,
RULERSHIP, ALL POWERS AND AUTHORITIES MUST BOW TO THIS
GREAT RULER, THE ALMIGHTY GOD.

YOUR FOREMOST RESPONSIBILITY IS TO BELIEVE THAT GOD IS HERE ON

EARTH; and that the Son, the angels and the prophets and all the children of God are here
to provide all things for you. He has come to reveal His son to the world. He has come to
reveal all His children to the world, and to receive the honor and glory due Him before the
World was.

You may not be blamed, in a sense, because when a sick man is cured he gives glory to the native
doctor. But only a foolish doctor will accept or receive such glory. Of course, if he receives the
glory for having cured someone, and then another sick person is brought, and he is unable to cure
him or he dies, then he is a liar. You must be very careful so that you do not receive the glory due
to God; because God requires an exclusive honor.

Very soon you will see a child of two raising the dead, or even a robber doing some powerful
work. You will look for a sign but you will be led astray because you do not believe in the
presence of God. It is because of lack of faith and unbelief by some people that God is the
One doing this work. That makes them wander from place to place, from one prophet to
another, and from one pastor to another; and if they are healed, they attribute such healing
to either the prophet or the pastor.
Sometimes you may see a sick person who was taken to the hospital, and he recovers; and because
of your lack of faith, you doubt God's presence; and when you are sick you would want to be
admitted into the hospital, but you may die there. It is true that God is everywhere. But you
must acknowledge His presence, and capability of doing all things. He is a Spirit. He is in me
and in you and in all things. What is impossible with men is possible with God. We should
worship Him in spirit and in truth as the only Creator of all things.

*THOSE WHO SPEND THEIR TIME TO THINK OF A SUCCESSOR TO

LEADER OBU WHEN HE DIES ARE VERY UNREASONABLE PEOPLE.
AND THOSE WHO ARE OUTSIDE, AND ARE TRYING TO SEE THE END OF
LEADER OBU SO THAT BROTHERHOOD MAY CEASE TO FUNCTION, ARE ALSO
VERY, VERY UNREASONABLE. Is the work in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star done by the
leader? Whether I am here or not; one thing stands out. These works will continue because the doer
is here by Himself; and He is God, the Father.(John 14:10-12)

Many of you have been stricken with fear when you hear that you will no more see the
Leader. That is to put faith in you. When you see before you believe; that is not faith. (John
20:29). Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities
though not beheld (Hebrews 11:1).

It is because of lack of faith that some of you do not attend meetings that the Leader would not
attend, and do not honor any letter or circular that is not signed by the Leader. Blessed are those
who do not see, and yet believe. Believe as from today that God is the one doing these works.

These works are not done by Leader Obu or Olumba Olumba Obu or O.O.O. God is the one who
created this O.O.O., and that God is the one doing His works now in the universe. I give glory to
God who has come to rule the world. Therefore all that you do, whether in songs, prayer and
worship, do them to God. Do not worship man, do not give glory to man. Do not enslave man.
Worship God, and give Him glory; for He is now on earth.

Some of you have seen God face to face; but you are still doubting in your minds. Do not
keep your eyes on the things you see but rather on the things unseen; for the things seen are
temporary, but the things unseen are everlasting (2nd Corinth 4:18). Some of you get worried
when you are not able to see the Leader. Does it mean that God does not see you? Put not your trust
in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. O.O.Obu is a man like you are, but God
is God forever. O.O.Obu can go anywhere just as you can, but God is omnipresent.

Go and tell the world that you made a mistake when you told them that the work done here in
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is performed by a man. Because what you see here and what you
have heard done here is not anything that can be done by man, angel, prophet or the Son. Tell them
that God has come to dwell with men, and that God is the One doing all these things.

If you say that a man is the one doing these things, then it is like saying that God lives in a building.
But is God so small as to live in a building? NOT AT ALL! GOD REMAINS FAITHFUL AND
TRUE TO HIS PROMISES, although man may stumble and fall. There is only one God that
controls the universe. There is no division. There is neither male nor female, young or old. All are
in union with the Lord. All were created by this one God that controls the universe; and today His
tabernacle is here with His creatures, to dwell with them, and be their God forever.

Brethren, those who have ears to hear, let them hear. May God bless His Holy Word.

3. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE GREATEST GIFT OF GOD
FIRST BIBLE LESSON: MATTHEW 7:7

"Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto
you:"

SECOND BIBLE LESSON: ACTS 4:29-31

"And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all
boldness they may speak thy word. By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs
and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed,
the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the
Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness."

GOLDEN TEXT: JAMES 1:17

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of
lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."

Brethren, we are going to introduce the theme of this wonderful and inspiring sermon with the
following choruses:

1. The Holy Spirit is now on earth, let my people shout: Amen - Amen. Hallelujah.

2. The Holy Spirit is life, He is the root of life for the children of God.

3. Seek ye first the kingdom of the Lord and all other things shall be added to you.

Our Lord Jesus Christ has already left these spoken words before his departure. He said:
"Nevertheless, I tell you the truth, it is for your good that I go away, for if I go not away, the
Comforter will not come unto you, but if I depart, I will send Him unto you." (John 16:7) So
you realize that our Lord Jesus Christ bore testimony to this glory. He told them, "If you love me,
you would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father, for my Father is greater than I."
(John 14:28).

Since that Comforter, the Counselor, the Holy Spirit has arrived, it does not call for much
preaching, you only need to be told things in clear terms. THEREFORE, MY DUTY, YOUR
DUTY AND THE DUTY OF ALL THE INHABITANTS OF THE WORLD IS TO SING
SONGS OF PRAISES, DANCE AND REJOICE BECAUSE WE ARE SAVED. We just want
to scratch the periphery and show to you what is expected of you.

This week that has just passed, the Pastor's Week, is very powerful indeed. Because the things the
Father has revealed during the week had never before been revealed. Now you have heard what the
scripture has told you, that is: "ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock,
and it shall be opened unto you." But when you stand up, you close your eyes and bring your
palms together and pray, Oh God give me a child, a husband, a motor vehicle, or money. Are those
the things you are expected to ask for? These are not the things you are expected to ask for, because
these are the material things of the world.

MUNDANE THINGS LEAD TO DEATH

Neither should you pray for money. Just go out and you will see somebody carrying a heavy load,
help the person out and at the end of the exercise, he will give you some of the money you have
been praying for. If you go to somebody's premises and you find it is overgrown with weeds, get
your machete clean the whole thing and at the end of the exercise you will find that money will be
given to you. Help somebody fetch water, break firewood, and clean his environment, and money
will be given to you without your praying for it. These are not the things we are referring to. These
are mundane things and they lead unto death. What we are going to talk about is what you are
expected to ask for. It is exactly the theme of our sermon today.

ASK FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT

Can you see the arrangement? You are told to ask, knock and all these things shall be given to you.
(Matt 7:7) What then are you expected to request or pray for? It is the Holy Spirit. Recall what the
disciples did, when the chief Priest and Elders threatened them not to preach in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ. They gathered together and prayed, "And now, Lord behold their threatenings;
and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, by stretching forth
thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of the Holy child Jesus.
And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they
were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the word of God with boldness." (Acts 4:29-31)
Right from that period, they feared nobody. They entered into the streets and lanes of the city and
into all places and preached the gospel of God without fear. This is exactly what you are told to
request for. The Holy Spirit is what you are expected to ask for from God and He will give unto
you. The Holy Spirit is the greatest of all gifts.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS EVERYTHING TO EVERY MAN

And that was not the end of it all. They prayed for the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit descended
on them. "THE MULTITUDE OF THEM THAT BELIEVED WERE OF ONE HEART
AND OF ONE SOUL. NEITHER SAID ANY OF THEM THAT OUGHT OF THE
THINGS WHICH POSSESSED WAS HIS OWN, BUT THEY HAD ALL THINGS IN
COMMON." (Acts 4:32) Brethren, you can see the situation clearly, that even if somebody has
money would not want to part with any kobo. But he will rather desire to collect more from others.
When you pray, God give me money, so that I will use same to do your work, the question is, those
to whom God has given millions and billions and trillions what have they done with all this
money? You may have the money in abundance and yet you die of hunger, you abandon the money
and would not want to make use of it. Money is carnal and cannot help you out in anything.

As the Heavens are higher than the earth so is the wisdom of God higher than the wisdom of man.
(Isaiah 55:9). Tree, man, fish, money and all things you find around you are just one. No matter
how populated a place is, that does not serve any useful purpose. No matter what you think you
possess, those things do not come into estimation. What matters is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit
is life, the Holy Spirit is love, peace, joy, wealth, good health. He is patience, humility, self-control
and other virtues. The Holy Spirit is everything to every man. The Holy Spirit is the greatest gift
that man can ever receive.

Brethren, I want to do a little arithmetic for you. "God give me life," that is one of your requests.
"God give me health," that is another request, "God give me a wife," that is yet another request,
"God give me a child" is yet another request. "God give me money so that I may take care of the
children." Do you know what you have asked God? What you have asked of God, (all these
things), increase your sorrow. I want to prove to you as one proves the theorems in geometry and
algebra.

Now, let us examine your first request. You prayed God to give you long life, and He has given it
to you. When you look around, you find that your age-mates are all dead. You are left alone with
no association. Your teeth are all gone, your hair has gone gray, you can no longer see clearly.
Your limbs are weak, you cannot walk. You cannot do anything. You cannot even control the loin
cloth on your waist. You become stationary, and cannot pass urine. Some people even turn around
to pray, "God instead of suffering like this in life, instead of living this kind of life, please take my
life and let me rest. I tell you that the suffering an old man has endured, somebody who had asked
God for a long life, cannot be compared to that which Satan himself has suffered.

All the evil things done by your brothers are referred to you. All the evil things done by your
family are referred to you. All the evil things done by your ward, your village are referred to you.
All the evil things done by your community are referred to you. Whatever evil is done around that
vicinity, is referred to you. Everybody calls on you for whatever has happened. You do not have
any rest at all, because you are to answer for whatever happens to your age-mates, your brothers or
sisters. These are things you suffer. When you ask God for long life, you are to face these
calamities.
DISADVANTAGES OF GOOD HEALTH

Let us examine another request of yours. You ask God to give you good health, good and fine. But
around you is a brother who is sick and another brother who is also sick. One has a court case and
another is afflicted, in addition to other numerous problems around you. Since you have good
health, you have to attend to the sick, those with court cases, the afflicted and all those who are
troubled. You had asked God for good health and you are to minister unto those who need your
help. What then is the usefulness of good health if you cannot sit down in one place? What is the
usefulness of a "restless" good health?

OF WHAT PROFIT IS A WIFE AND CHILDREN

In Akwa Ibom State, if you go to somebody's house and maybe asked a little child, where is your
father and he tells you, 'oh, my father has gone out to buy trouble,' that means his father has gone to
marry. The moment you marry you have invited all forms of trouble to yourself. Here you were as
quiet and calm as possible. The moment a woman comes into your life you will be forced to talk.
All forms of trouble must come to you. You have to change your former way of life. You will be
forced out of your concealment. This is the wife you had wanted. Is this not a situation whereby
"trouble de sleep, yanga go wakaam?" As if the trouble of having a wife in the house is not
sufficient, later if your wife gives birth to a child thereby increasing your problems. When a child
comes, you know what it means. The troubles you have to take to wean a child and care for him in
addition to other prevalent problems, your child constitute yet another set of problem and you have
other problems here and there to attend to. What sort of life will you be living? This is exactly what
you encounter when you are praying God to give you a wife and children.

THE BURDEN OF POSSESSING

God give me money and the money comes. You have become a storekeeper for every Tom, Dick,
and Harry. This is another problem you have created for yourself. Because everybody around will
come to you for money. This brother will come asking you for money, if you do not give him, he
will start abusing you. Another one will come telling you. "Aha, you have given to the other
brother, why do you not give to me? Another person will come asking you for money, and if you
refuse giving him, he will look for ways of charming and hurting you. Troubles will come from left
and right, since you have money. You will no longer be free to move around because the money is
there. Armed robbers will visit you, all kinds of things will come to you because you want money.
Your family will be calling on you. At every launching you will be called upon to launch and
finally you will even hide never to be seen again. Just as we have launching here and some people
are hiding, because the money is there, but they do not want to spend it. Now tell me what useful
purpose it serves when you begin to ask for money and is given to you. You have asked for money
and this is the money. You are a storekeeper, use it as it is supposed to be used. All these things do
not give you peace, do not give you love, do not give faith, hope, patience, none of the virtues of
the Holy Spirit is derivable from these mundane things you are requesting for, rather they bestow
upon you tribulation and death.

THE HOLY SPIRIT BRINGS YOU FREEDOM

Now the whole world can be compared to a stagnant water which does not move to any direction;
it is stationary. The inhabitants of the world are complex. The troubles and tribulations of men are
numerous. They are found within. The sons of men are gluttonous and insatiable. No matter how
much money is paid to somebody it is not enough for him. That is why you find robbers, and
thieves, swindlers and extortionists everywhere. Because nobody knows what to do again. The
problems of men have become numerous.

That is why you are to ask, seek and knock. All things belong to you, whether it be money or men
or wealth of any kind and these things are carnal. BUT WHAT YOU ARE EXPECTED TO
ASK FOR IS THE HOLY SPIRIT, WHICH IS THE EMBODIMENT OF EVERYTHING,
YOU HAVE EVERYTHING AND YOU ARE FREE, FREE INDEED.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE GIFT THAT COMES FROM GOD.

When you ask God for children, from where do you want Him to give you children? He has only
the Holy Spirit. If you want children, find a woman and impregnate her and she will give you a
child. If you want money, mint money. Those things are found around you that are carnal, they are
mundane. You can always find them when you want them. What God gives to you is the Holy
Spirit.

I often hear people say God loves me so much, He has given me money, He has given me children.
The question is, do you possess the Holy Spirit? If you are devoid of the Holy Spirit, what do those
things mean to you? Do they not tantamount to death? Brethren, let the first lesson be read.

FIRST BIBLE LESSON: MATTHEW: 7:7

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and Ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto
you."

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE KEY TO ALL THINGS

Brethren, have you heard that? God, after creating the world, did hand over the rulership of
everything to man. You can see that as the heavens are higher than the earth, so is the wisdom of
God higher than the wisdom of men. (Isaiah 55:9) After creating the world, He kept the key that
opens everything and appointed man as the overseer. THAT KEY WAS THE HOLY SPIRIT.
IF HE WERE TO BESTOW THE HOLY SPIRIT ON MAN, MAN WOULD HAVE
POSSESSED THE QUALITIES OF GOD. There would not have been any death, nor suffering
for man. Man would have possessed all virtues. GOD KEPT BACK THE HOLY SPIRIT, THE
KEY TO ALL THINGS. That is why man is beclouded with problems and suffering. Nobody
knows exactly what to do in order to become problem-free and liberated. TO THAT EFFECT,
THIS KEY HAS BEEN GIVEN TO YOU. THE PROVISION HAS BEEN LAID DOWN.
THAT THE MOMENT YOU ASK FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT, IT SHALL BE GIVEN
UNTO YOU. THAT IS THE RECONDITE WISDOM OF GOD.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THAT "TREE OF LIFE" IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN WHICH
GOD REFERRED TO. WHEN MAN HAS TRANSGRESSED THE CODED COMMANDS
OF GOD, AND FELL FROM THE GRACE OF GOD, HE ASKED THAT MAN (ADAM
AND EVE) SHOULD BE BUNDLED OUT OF THE GARDEN OF EDEN SO THAT HE
MAY NOT EAT THE TREE OF LIFE AND SHOULD LIVE FOREVER. AFTER
EATING OF THE TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL, HE WAS NOT
ALLOWED TO EAT OF THE TREE OF LIFE. THAT IS WHY YOU FIND SUFFERINGS
AND SORROWS AMONG THE SONS OF MEN.

OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST KNEW ABOUT THESE SUFFERINGS. HE KNEW ABOUT
THE TRIBULATIONS AND SORROWS OF MEN, THAT WAS WHY HE SAID,
"NEVERTHELESS, I TELL YOU THE TRUTH, IT IS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD, THAT I GO
AWAY, FOR IF I GO NOT AWAY, THE COMFORTER WILL NOT COME; BUT IF I
DEPART, I WILL SEND HIM UNTO YOU." WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT COMES, ALL
PROBLEMS, AND DIFFICULTIES CEASE, BUT WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT, YOU
WILL CONTINUE TO FACE THE KIND OF PROBLEMS THAT YOU ARE FACING
NOW.

THINGS LEAD TO DEATH

NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO TO AMELIORATE THE SITUATION, IT WILL

ALWAYS BECOME ABORTIVE. NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO TO HELP YOURSELF
WHETHER YOU TAKE INJECTIONS, TABLETS, DRUGS, LEAVES, BARKS AND
ROOTS OF TREES THE ODD SITUATION WILL STILL PERSIST. WHATEVER YOU
INJECT INTO YOUR BODY BECOMES PROBLEMS. WHATEVER TABLETS YOU
TAKE, YOU TAKE IN PROBLEMS. WHATEVER KIND OF LEAVES, OR ROOT, AND
BARKS OF TREE YOU WANT TO USE THEY CONSTITUTE PROBLEMS TO YOU.
THERE IS NO KIND OF EYE SALVE WHICH YOU PUT INTO YOUR EYES THAT
WILL NOT CONSTITUTE PROBLEMS. ALL THESE THINGS ARE PROBLEMS
UNTO YOU. THE ONLY SALVATION FOR MAN IS THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO CAN
LEAD MAN OUT OF THESE PREDICAMENTS.
Have you heard that God has said, all sorcerers and idolaters, the fearful and unbelieving,
and the abominable and murderers and whoremongers and all that loveth and maketh a lie
shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second
death. (Rev 19:20). And this lake burns eternally. The moment you consult or seek for any of these
things you remain in perpetual hell. As you seek for ways of helping yourself, you initiate into
secret societies and you are given monographs and secret books to read, you are given talisman,
amulets, you are given many protective charms, and concoctions, you have increased your
sorrows. Those things lead you to no other place, but death.

WHAT THE FATHER HAD ASKED US TO REQUEST FOR IS THE HOLY SPIRIT. THE
MOMENT YOU HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT WHETHER YOU ARE SICKLY, WHETHER
YOU HAVE NO LOVE, WHATEVER HAD BEEN YOUR NEEDS WOULD BE BESTOWED
UNTO YOU. THE MOMENT YOU HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT YOU ARE ON TOP OF THE
WHOLE WORLD AND YOU LACK NOTHING.

THE HOLY SPIRIT ENDS YOUR LACK

Let the second lesson be read so that you may realize what God wants you to ask for. Not that when
you are encumbered you rise up to pray, "Oh God help me", "my mother who is in Hades, come to
my rescue", and so on and so forth. When your mother was alive, what good thing did she do for
you? Listen attentively to what is going to be read to you about the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is
the only thing you can boast of. You cannot boast of money, you cannot boast of wealth, you
cannot boast in children, you cannot boast in any of these worldly things. It is only in the Holy
Spirit that you should have your boast. You can walk majestically everywhere and nothing will
challenge you, because you possess the Holy Spirit.

SECOND BIBLE LESSON: ACTS 4:29-31

"And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all
boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs
and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed,
the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were filled with the
Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness."

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS ALL AND IN ALL

Brethren, have you heard the scriptures? If you do not possess the Holy Spirit, how can you
preach? Where lies your boldness, or where will you have power, love, humility, peace, joy,
meekness, self-control and other virtues of God, and where will your foundations be?
Upon all the evil things in the world, no church denomination practices the word of God, no prayer
house, no government practices the word of God. No human being practices the Word of God.
Who is there to tell them? There is nobody to inform them, because they do not possess the Holy
Spirit. Now that you want to go to the University and spend twenty years, what are you going to
learn there? What are you going to do in the University? The Holy Spirit is the custodian of love,
peace, joy, mercy, power, humility. He is the truth, patience and all virtues. The Holy Spirit
is the kingdom of God. Everything good is found in the Holy Spirit. He is the dean of all
faculties. He is everything to every man.

The Holy Spirit is the dentist; He is the doctor, He is the educator, the pharmacist. The Holy Spirit
is the engineer, the lawyer. He is found in whatever profession that you can mention. He is love,
peace, power, patience; He is the truth, The Holy Spirit is everything unto man. He is the Father,
mother; He is children, he is relatives, friends, He is wealth and good health. He is life. He guards
and guides you. He teaches and counsels you. He fights and overcomes secret wars for you. He
does not want anything from you, because He is wealth, food, clothing, whatever you may think of
- He is the motor car, ship and the aeroplane. He is present everywhere, He is all knowing and He
is all powerful, He can do and undo.

Those who are well-stabilized by the Holy Spirit cannot be attacked by any man. No machete can
prevail over them. No gun can hurt them. No man can hurt them. No principality can subdue them.
Nothing that you will try on them will do any harm to them. The moment you possess the Holy
Spirit, you have everything and nothing prevails against you. Death and Hades are subdued and
subjected under your foot.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS EVERYTHING

When you possess the Holy Spirit, what would you have to do with money, what have you got to
do with wealth. What would you have to do with speaking English; what have you got to do with
any kind of materialism. Because, the Holy Spirit is everything, He is love, peace, joy, mercy,
humility and meekness. He is truth, patience, tolerance, endurance. He is righteousness and
self-control and all virtues. The Holy Spirit does everything for you, nobody can hurt you. He
speaks for you, He works for you and provides you all the things you lack and He overcomes
everything for you.

The only thing in which you can have boldness and pride is the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit
is everything to you. When you possess the Holy Spirit there is no disappointment, no
confrontation, there is no lack or poverty, no illness, nothing at all can prevail over you, no kind of
encumbrances whatsoever because the Holy Spirit is everything unto every man.

What do you go to the Hospital for? He is the Chief Medical Officer. What do you find in an
educational institution? He is the Dean of all faculties. What do you find in the market place? He is
the Chief Merchant. He is everything you can think of. With Him there is no hunger, no lack, no
tribulations, no suffering. In Him you have peace, genuine love, joy; and you have mercy. In Him
you find every good thing and there is no variableness in Him. There is no deceit in Him, because
He is always the same.

THEY SPOKE WITH BOLDNESS

AS THE STUDENT HAS SAID, WHEN THE BATTLE IS TOUGH, CALL ON THE
HOLY SPIRIT AND HE WILL COME TO YOUR RESCUE. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT
THE DISCIPLES OF OLD DID. WHEN THEY WERE FACED WITH GREAT
CONFRONTATIONS, THEY CALLED ON THE HOLY SPIRIT: "And now, Lord, behold
their threatenings, and grant unto us thy servants, that with all boldness we may speak thy
word, stretching forth thine hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done by the
name of the Holy Son, Jesus the Lord and Christ," And when they had prayed the place
where they were was shaken and they were filled with the Holy Spirit and they spake the
word of God with all boldness. It is the same thing we have to do. When you are faced with
all kinds of trouble when the war becomes topsy-topsy and difficult, tell Him: Father, the
time has come, the situation has provided itself for You to come down and arrest." And you
will find Him descending upon you like rain from heaven.

THE SOURCE OF POWER IN BROTHERHOOD IS THE HOLY SPIRIT

The kingdom of God is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is everything unto us. You will hear people
make reference to the fact that here in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, you find power, power of
healing, great wisdom is here, this is because the Holy Spirit is here. They also say, look at that
man, he is a Brotherhood member, he has no work to do for his livelihood, and yet his child has
gone to school and graduated successfully. Why would that child not go to school and graduate,
when the Holy Spirit is money? The Holy Spirit is education. The Holy Spirit is wisdom,
knowledge; it is everything.

The Christ Students Natural Choir often renders a piece which says that He has come in a secret
way and the world does not know. Of a truth he has come in a manner the world does know and
those of you here do not understand. Do you not hear what is said by the people of the world? They
also confess, there is power in Brotherhood, but it is not known where this power comes from.

HE OPERATES THROUGHOUT THE WORLD FROM 34 AMBO

The most surprising thing to the inhabitants of the world as you will hear them say is that their
Leader is stationed in Calabar and yet you find Him simultaneously everywhere. They often
complain to you that there is something underneath. "We cannot believe that it is an ordinary
thing." YOU WHO ARE HERE ALSO WONDER AND EXPRESS SURPRISE OVER THE
OMNIPRESENCE OF THE FATHER.

SINCE YOU WERE BORN HAVE YOU HEARD OF ANY SUCH MAN, HAVE YOU
READ IN RECORDED HISTORY THAT THERE IS A MAN WHO IS STATIONARY AT
ONE PLACE AND OPERATES ALL OVER THE WORLD? ELIJAH MOVED FROM
PLACE TO PLACE, OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST MOVED FROM ONE PLACE TO PLACE.
THE POPE, THE ARCHBISHOP OF CANTERBURY AND EVERY RELIGIOUS LEADER
ALL MOVES FROM PLACE TO PLACE. BUT HERE IS A MAN AT 34 AMBO STREET,
CALABAR AND OPERATES THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.

THEY MOVE FROM PLACE TO PLACE. WHAT DID THEY DO? OR WHAT HAVE
THEY DONE SO FAR? WHAT HAPPENS IN THIS CASE, HE STAYS IN ONE PLACE,
BUT WHAT HAS HE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO EVEN AS HE IS STATIONED IN ONE
PARTICULAR PLACE. EVERYTHING GOES STEADILY AND STRAIGHT. HE IS DOING
HIS WORKS, HE DOES NOT CALL FOR MEMBERS. HE DOES NOT BOTHER HIMSELF
ABOUT ANYTHING AND YET THE WORK IS MOVING. EVERYTHING IS TAKING
SHAPE.

IN THE SUN THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THERE, IN THE MOON, IN THE STARS, IN THE
CONSTELLATIONS. YOU FIND THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE WATER BENEATH THE
EARTH. HE IS IN YOUR BODY, IN YOUR HOUSE, IN YOUR OFFICE, IN YOUR
WAY, IN THE MARKET, IN YOUR FARM. HE IS FOUND LAVISHLY
EVERYWHERE.

NO CANDLE IS REQUIRED HERE, NO PERFUME, NO INCENSE IS WANTED, NO

CLAPPING OF HANDS, NO KIND OF ORCHESTRA WHATSOEVER IS NEEDED.
REALIZE THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE GREATEST OF ALL GIFTS. WHEN YOU
POSSESS THE HOLY SPIRIT, YOU HAVE LIFE, YOU HAVE POWER, WISDOM,
PEACE, LOVE, HUMILITY, AND EVERY GOOD THING AND YOU HAVE
SALVATION. BUT ALL OTHER GIFTS, CARNAL GIFTS LEAD UNTO DEATH.
BRETHREN, I WILL NOT OVERLOAD YOU. LET OUR GOLDEN TEXT BE READ.

GOLDEN TEXT: JAMES 1:17

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of
lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."

Brethren, have you heard what the scriptures have said? I have already repeated what the scriptures
had written that "the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life." (Rom 6:23)
WHEN YOU ASK GOD FOR ANY CARNAL THING, YOU ARE ASKING FOR DEATH,
BUT IF YOU ASK FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT, YOU ARE ASKING FOR ETERNAL LIFE.
All those requests you put before God, "God give me wife, give me husband and children and
money, give me a motor car and build a house for me, and many others. Do you know that you are
asking for death?

I CAN REMAIN WHERE I AM AS LONG AS I WISH. YOU ARE TRUE WITNESSES

TO THE FACT THAT I HAVE NEVER GONE OUT TO THE GUEST HOUSE, OR TO
THE BOOK SHOP OR TO THE SCHOOL PREMISE THERE. I REMAIN WHERE I AM.
AND I CAN REMAIN IN THAT APARTMENT (VESTRY) FOR TWENTY YEARS OR
MORE WITHOUT COMING OUT HERE, AND THERE WILL BE NO PROBLEMS
WHATSOEVER. But, it is not so in the world. In the world you have problems everywhere.

THOSE WHO SAW ME LAST WEEK CAN ATTEST TO THE FACT THAT I WAS
OLDER THAN I AM TODAY. TOMORROW I WILL BE YOUNGER THAN THIS.
NEXT WEEK, NEXT MONTH, NEXT YEAR, I WILL CONTINUE TO GROW
YOUNGER AND YOUNGER. IT IS NOT MY WORK. IT IS THE FATHER, IT IS THE
HOLY SPIRIT WHO IS DOING HIS WORK. YOU CALL ME OLUMBA OBU. YES, WE
AGREE, LOOK AT HIM. WHEN YOU LOOK AT US YOU CALL US A SMALL BOY.
YES THAT IS WHAT WE ARE TOO.

ASK, SEEK AND KNOCK FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT

You are given soldiers and policemen to guard you. But here the Holy Spirit protects your children
and heals you of all infirmities and does everything for you. He is in your house, in your office. He
is under your bed and under your pillow. He is everywhere lavishly. He takes care of everything
for you.

The Holy Spirit is the only gift of God. When you possess the Holy Spirit you have everything.
There is no occasion of your saying that, oh, I have forgotten. The Holy Spirit will abide with you
forever. He is peace, He is joy, He is mercy, humility, kindness, He is power, love, life, good
health. He is everything to you. And it is the Holy Spirit that you are told to ask for, seek for, and to
knock for and He will be given you. It is not money, it is not wealth, not children, wife, husband,
houses or any of these mundane things that you requested to ask for. When you have the Holy
Spirit you have everything.

THE HOLY GIFT OF GOD

All those who ask God to give them food, money, a child or husband or wife, these things
lead to death. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE HOLY GIFT WHICH THE FATHER HAS
HAD FOR US. WHEN YOU POSSESS THE HOLY SPIRIT YOU HAVE EVERLASTING
LIFE. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE EMBODIMENT OF PEACE, JOY, LOVE,
PATIENCE, ETERNAL LIFE, POWER AND EVERYTHING YOU REQUIRE AND YOU
ARE ON TOP OF THE WORLD.

Think of this situation: Here is a man who has neither staves nor gun nor machete nor sword. He
has no implement of war and yet, the whole inhabitants of the world rise in concert and wage war
against him. In spite of sitting in the corner and laughing at them, overcoming everything, nothing
challenges Him. What do you think about this phenomenon? When you come around after your
futile attempts, the Father will still receive and embrace you, greet you, "my friend how now?"

THAT ETERNAL KINGDOM

The Holy Spirit is that Kingdom Nebuchadnezzar saw in his dream and was interpreted by Daniel.
"And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never
be destroyed, and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces
and consume all these kingdoms and it shall stand forever." (Dan 2:44) This is that eternal
kingdom.

RIGHT FROM TODAY YOU SHOULD REALIZE THAT THE INJUNCTION, ASK,
SEEK, AND KNOCK REFERS TO THE HOLY SPIRIT. YOU SHOULD ASK FOR THE
HOLY SPIRIT, SEEK FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT AND KNOCK AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU. WHATEVER YOUR PROBLEM IS WHETHER YOU ARE
SICK, DO NOT TELL ANYBODY, JUST ASK FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT. WHEN THE
HOLY SPIRIT IS GIVEN TO YOU, YOUR EYES WILL BE OPENED AND YOU WILL
FIND PEACE IN YOUR LIFE AND EVERYTHING WILL ASSUME ITS PERFECT AND
GOOD CONDITION. THEREFORE, YOU SHOULD STRIVE TO POSSESS THE HOLY
SPIRIT AND ALL SHALL BE WELL WITH YOU.

THE COMFORTER COMPLETED THE WORK AND GLORIFIED HIMSELF

Our Lord Jesus Christ had seen this thing clearly. That was why He said, "Nevertheless, I tell you
the truth, it is expedient for you that I go away. The Comforter will come. But if I depart, I
will send Him unto you." ALL ALONG WHO WAS ABLE TO DO THESE WORKS? THE
SON COULD NOT. THE PROPHETS AND NOT EVEN THE ANGELS COULD DO
THESE WORKS. NO MAN WAS ABLE TO DO THESE WORKS. NOW THAT THE
COMFORTER HAS COME, HAS HE NOT COMPLETED THESE WORKS TO
GLORIFY HIMSELF?

Can you see the result of God's long-suffering? When the world has lost its hope, indulging in all
evil practices, exercising power here and there. Then within a twinkling of an eye, the Comforter,
even the Holy Spirit emerged. Where is the wisdom of this world, where are the powerful men of
this world, where are those who claim to be able to do one thing or the other? Has He not scattered
all of them and subjected all of them to nothingness?
Brethren, one stroke of the cane is sufficient to the wise. Let those who have ears hear. May God
Bless His Holy Words. Amen.

4.THE PERFECT MASTER
FIRST BIBLE LESSON: REVELATION 21:1-4
And I saw a new heaven a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed
away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming
down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a
great voice out of heaven saying, behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell
with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and they shall
be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe
away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

SECOND BIBLE LESSON: REVELATION 10:11-13

And I saw heaven open, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called
FAITHFUL AND TRUE, and in righteousness he doeth judge and make war. His eyes were
as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written that no
man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood, and HIS
NAME IS CALLED THE WORD OF GOD.

A new commandment I give you that ye love one another, as I have loved you, that ye also
love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love, one to

INTRODUCTORY CHORUS:
"LOVE ME THAT YOU MAY HAVE LOVE
LOVE JESUS THAT YOU HAVE LIFE."

THE IDENTITY OF GOD REVEALED:

We want to make some corrections to the entire world in order that you may not be
deceived. People say that if you have money and mansions all over the place, you are God
yourself! I HEREBY REFUTE THIS ERRONEOUS BELIEF.
You can even observe that even here in Brotherhood, the so-called dignitaries have the
misconception that a particular person was made Bishop because of his numerous contribution or
achievements in the fold, and that the other person was not appointed a Bishop because of his little
or no meaningful contribution in the fold. These are the impression you are creating here. I am
aware of these impressions because I am in your hearts. Sometimes, when I draw an instance to a
certain contribution (appreciation) by Okpala William, you immediately make a remark to that
effect.
 Are you not aware of the fact that if Brotherhood were to be a thing of such nature as you
think, it would not have come from God at all? I AM GOING TO PUT A STOP TO ALL
YOUR STRUGGLING FOR POSITIONS HERE AND THERE. Also many people believe
that a person who is visioner, for instance if one is ill, such a visioner would visualize the source of
the illness, and tell you all your problems and he can equally provide solutions to the problems you
face. For that reason, you claim the visioners to be God. THIS IS NOT TRUE. It is for this same
reason that at all times, I do not use the English language to teach because the language is vague,
deceptive, and devoid of truth. AND NOW I WANT TO TELL YOU WHAT GOD IS.

GOD IS ONE AND INDIVISIBLE:

THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD IN EXISTENCE AND I AM SET TO INFORM YOU
ABOUT THAT ONE GOD AND IF YOU ARE THIS GOD, THEN LET ME KNOW. People
have created the impression that the visioners who go about shouting ha! ha! ha! and making all
sorts of noise are the ones who have seen the true image of God and for that reason, they are afraid
of these visioner. Is that true? Others regard the self-acclaimed erudite preachers, those who can
convincingly cite portions of the Bible to buttress their sermon as God Himself; why do you make
all these claims?
Following the present state of affairs in Nigeria,(The Democratic Process), the European
Union(EU) donated about fifty six billion naira to Nigeria, and for that reason, they were regarded
as people with the greatest love or even as God. This is erroneous.
Brethren, considering the way I am leading you, whoever perishes, his blood shall be upon
him. There is nothing that is done here in Brotherhood through your financial contribution, beauty,
academic attainment, personality or age. LET EVERY ONE OF US BE PREPARED TO
KNOW AND DWELL IN GOD TODAY, FOR HE IS HERE WITH US AND WE HAVE
SEEN HIM.

GOD IS GOOD:
I have on earlier occasions revealed God to you. I am merely repeating this fact in
confirmation of the spoken words. I had earlier told you that the name "GOD," is not God but
"GOOD." The letter `O' was dropped to make it GOD. I did not learn or read what I am imparting
you from any book. It is rather innate in me and right from the beginning I move along the same
path. I have no other way. You donate several assorted cars, bathe frequently till you become fair
in complexion, yet I cannot regard you as God. So many people are elected chairmen, presidents,
prophets, apostles and they are referred to as important dignitaries in the fold of Brotherhood.
Those things cannot be regarded as attributes to greatness in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.
Do not put this kingdom of God into mockery. Just as the people of the world do, by
making carved objects in the image of human and then they regard them as their own gods. They
even give food to those carved objects and sometimes they dress the pieces of wood with clothes
and adorn them as human beings. This is what is now happening, and you are quite aware of this.
But all those things are vanity and acts of foolishness that we should not associate with God. Let
the first lesson be read.

FIRST BIBLE LESSON: REVELATION 21:1-4

And I saw a new heaven a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed
away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming
down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a
great voice out of heaven saying, behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell
with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and they shall
be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe
away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

BE BORN AGAIN, FOR IF YE ARE NOT BORN BY MY BLOOD
YE ARE NOT WORTHY OF ME.

I want to let you know that whoever is not born again has no share in this New Kingdom.
You cry of money! money! money! Unfortunately money does not make you to be born anew.
There is absolutely nothing in this world that can make you to be born again. There is nothing that
one can give you to make it a new birth to you, and there is nothing you too can give to a person to
contribute to the rebirth of that person. So brethren, what we are disclosing to you here, and we are
about to disclose to you is a very great thing which is greater than the whole world. It is exactly as
when Christ went out with His disciples and they got to a place where there was a fundraising
function being held. Each donor who came out donated according to his ability, and everybody
else donated accordingly. There was then a widow who brought in a little amount, not even up to
half a penny. Our Lord Jesus Christ then drew the attention of His disciples and told them that of
all the donations, the widow's mite was the greatest. Up till today, philosophers and theologians are
pondering about that statement of Our Lord Jesus Christ, that the widow's mite was the greatest of
all the donations. Till today, you are not aware of the significance of that donation. You at all times
question,"Why is it that others donated in thousands and in millions and yet, the widow's mite was
considered the greatest? It is merely a proverb and not to be taken literally." But I want to assure
you that today you are going to know the real significance of that widow's mite.

SPIRITUAL CHORUS:
THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOT INHERITED BY WEALTH BUT BY FAITH.

SECOND BIBLE LESSON: REVELATION 19:11-13
And I saw heaven open, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called
FAITHFUL AND TRUE, and in righteousness he doeth judge and make war. His eyes were
as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written that no
man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood, and HIS
NAME IS CALLED THE WORD OF GOD.

WHOEVER WANTS TO SAVE HIS LIFE SHALL RATHER LOSE IT IN THE

PROCESS:

You should ask yourself this question: Why is it that Our Lord Jesus Christ did not keep
lawyers, presidents, kings, wealthy men, millionaires and thousandnaires as his friends? Instead of
that Our Lord Jesus Christ kept company with the lame, the blind, and the nonentities. Even
amongst His disciples, Peter was a fisherman. Do you know that it is not an easy thing for a
fisherman to own a house? John was equally a fisherman. All the disciples were outcasts in the
world. It is interesting to note that all those eminent lawyers, doctors, and judges were everywhere
in Jerusalem and yet Christ did not call any of them.
Up till when Christ was crucified, Caesar did not know Christ. He did not know him in
person, until the day the Lord was crucified, when Pilate had to go and inform him about Our Lord
Jesus Christ. It was then that Caesar asked about the young man, Christ. But by then, Pilate had
already delivered Christ to the people in order to gain Caesar's favor as he presumed that would
please Caesar. Pilate had actually really wanted to free Christ but for the fear of the people who
demanded of him saying that, should he venture to free Christ, then he Pilate would no longer be
Caesar's friend. In order to maintain his friendship with Caesar, he superficially washed his hands
off with water to prove his innocence, whereas he condemned Christ and delivered Him to the
people.
However when Pilate go to Caesar, Caesar asked him of Christ. Caesar was suffering from
an illness which he has thought Christ would heal him at his instance. But little did he know that
Christ had been killed. It is said, whoever wants to save himself shall rather lose. Then for that
same reason, Caesar ordered Pilate to produce Christ or else he should consider himself a
condemned man and in fact Pilate was accordingly killed that day.
Many of you did not know that Pilate was equally killed the same day Our Lord Jesus
Christ was crucified. Why? It is because he wanted to please Caesar. Then, if the activities of
people and the things we feel were to be accepted by God, why should Pilate then be killed? Why
did Caesar seek to see Christ? Why should the whole world cry in one accord, "Give us Barabas
and Crucify Jesus?" IT IS BECAUSE OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST HAD LOVE, HE WAS
HUMBLE, HE HEALED THE SICK, PERFORMED GREAT WORKS, SPOKE
EDIFYING WORDS AND HE POSSESSED ALL THE VIRTUES OF GOD. HE WAS
GOD BUT HE DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. HE DID NOT ATTAIN ANY LEVEL OF
LEARNING FROM ANY INSTITUTION, HE HAD NO WIFE, HE HAD NO CHILD, NO
HOUSE, AND HE WAS REGARDED AS AN OUTCAST. HE WAS FOUND MOVING
FROM PLACE TO PLACE. EVEN HIS PARENTS COMPLAINED OF HIS LIFESTYLE.

SPIRITUAL CHORUS
"LORD" WE HAVE HEARD THAT YOU HAVE ARRIVED
REVEAL YOURSELF IN OUR MIDST.
THE DOER OF "TRUTH," REVEAL YOURSELF IN OUR MIDST
HALLELUJAH, REVEAL YOURSELF IN OUR MIDST.

GOD IN OUR MIDST

Did He not reveal Himself? Did the people know Him? I have said, today, to everybody, that your
eyes will be opened about what you are hearing, and about what you are seeing, and also what
constitutes this God in our midst. Because up till now many of you are still getting worried and
troubled at heart, claiming that, "I have been in Brotherhood for the past forty years, yet I cannot
build a house. I cannot measure up with my mates." People are so filled with thoughts and they are
so confused. They draw instances. "Look at that man, now he is a Bishop, and so on. Please,
Father, why do you not give me those things?" It is not true. You get your heart unnecessarily
troubled. You fail to show up in a function because you do not want to appear there empty-handed.
You would rather go to struggle for money. All these things are not correct. You are being misled
by such thoughts. Today you will witness the truth. Our First witness is from Matthew 1: 20-25
BUT WHILE HE THOUGHT ON THESE THINGS, BEHOLD AN ANGEL OF
THE LORD APPEARED UNTO HIM IN A DREAM, SAYING, JOSEPH, THOU SON OF
DAVID, FEAR NOT TO TAKE UNTO THEE MARY THEY WIFE: FOR THAT WHICH
IS CONCEIVED OF HER IS OF THE HOLY GHOST. AND SHE SHALL BRING FORTH
A SON, AND THOU SHALT CALL HIS NAME JESUS: FOR HE SHALL SAVE HIS
PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS. NOW ALL THIS WAS DONE, THAT IT MIGHT BE
FULFILLED WHICH WAS SPOKEN OF THE LORD BY THE PROPHET , SAYING,
BEHOLD A VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD, AND SHALL BRING FORTH A SON,
AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME EMMANUEL, WHICH BEING INTERPRETED
IS, GOD WITH US. THEN JOSEPH BEING RAISED FROM SLEEP DID AS THE
ANGEL OF THE LORD HAD BIDDEN HIM, AND TOOK UNTO HIM HIS WIFE: AND
KNEW HER NOT TILL SHE HAD BROUGHT FORTH HER FIRST BORN SON: AND
HE CALLED HIS NAME JESUS.

PERFECTION IS THE ULTIMATE:

Who knows exactly what we are driving at? Something has happened. When the
priesthood is changed, the law of necessity is changed. Have you seen what is written there? It
said: YOUR WIFE SHALL CONCEIVE AND SHALL GIVE BIRTH TO A BABY BOY
AND HIS NAME SHALL BE CALLED EMMANUEL, MEANING GOD IS HERE IN
OUR MIDST." Have you seen God here? Has anybody know this? It is said, you were:
CONCEIVED IN INIQUITY AND DELIVERED IN SIN(PSALM 51). With what was Christ
conceived? HIS MOTHER WAS A VIRGIN BUT GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT
OVERSHADOWED HER. IT WAS THE PREGNANCY WHICH WAS CAUSED BY THE
HOLY SPIRIT, BECAUSE HE WAS A PERFECT MAN AND HE WAS ALSO
SPOTLESS. This is to let you know who God is. There were many dignitaries with their exalted
positions in Israel at that time, why was He not born to them? Were they holy? Were they good?
Were they worthy? THE ONLY REQUIREMENT WAS A HOLY AND SPOTLESS
PERSON THAT IS, G-O-O-D. TO BE GOD, THIS IS THE REQUIREMENT. Do not be
offended, please.
Have you now seen that? Did they know this? Like it is written: A VIRGIN SHALL
CONCEIVE, SHE WILL GIVE BIRTH TO A BABY BOY WHOSE NAME SHALL BE
EMMANUEL." That is the perfection of the
of God Almighty. HE IS A PERFECT GOD AND PERFECTION HAS NOTHING TO DO
WITH CARS, MONEY, AND EARTHLY POSSESSIONS.
Mary had not carnal relationship; imagine a virgin giving birth to a baby boy who shall
eventually redeem His own people. If He Christ were not perfect, do you think Israel would have
been saved? What then would have happened to our present generation? Nigeria would have long
perished, Africa would have perished, and indeed, the whole world would have perished. The
whites are now bragging of their heavy weaponry, artillery, and scientific knowhow. Little do they
know about the real source of what has taken place in the world. Even those of you in Nigeria, and
even right here in Brotherhood, do you know the real source of who is responsible? IT IS THE
PERFECT MASTER. GOD DESIRES PERFECTION BECAUSE HE IS PERFECT. Our
journey is gradually taking shape.
our Second Bible Witness is taken from Luke 2:5-15
TO BE TAXED WITH MARY HIS ESPOUSED WIFE, BEING GREAT WITH CHILD.
AND SO IT WAS, THAT WHILE THEY WERE THERE, THE DAYS WERE
ACCOMPLISHED THAT SHE SHOULD BE DELIVERED. AND SHE BROUGHT
FORTH HERE FIRST-BORN SON, AND WRAPPED HIM SWADDLING CLOTHES
AND LAID HIM IN A MANGER, BECAUSE THERE WAS NO ROOM FOR THEM IN
THE INN.
...GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST, AND PEACE ON EARTH, GOOD WILL
TOWARD MEN. AND IT CAME TO PASS, AS THE ANGELS WERE GONE AWAY
FROM THEM INTO HEAVEN, THE SHEPHERDS SAID ONE TO ANOTHER, LET US
NOW GO EVEN UNTO BETHLEHEM, AND SEE THIS THING WHICH IS COME TO
PASS, WHICH THE LORD HATH MADE KNOWN UNTO US.

OUR THIRD BIBLE WITNESS IS TAKEN FROM LUKE 1:30-37

AND THE ANGEL SAID UNTO HER, FEAR NOT, MARY: FOR THOU HAST FOUND
FAVOR WITH GOD. AND BEHOLD, THOU SHALT CONCEIVE IN THY WOMB, AND
BRING FORTH A SON, AND SHALT CALL HIS NAME JESUS....FOR WITH GOD
NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE.
THE ONLY KING AND LEADER:
There is none of you who is aware of where you are being led to, apart from the Father
alone. Has God not revealed Himself in this text? Has it not been revealed to you? You who said,"I
want to be this or that,” with what were you conceived of? What is your father's name? What is
your mothers's name? Do you think this kingdom consists of those things which you are fond
of doing? You loot money into your pockets, buy expensive cars, and with that, you think
you are Christ. With what were you conceived of and what is your life history? Have you
seen that? He has no carnal knowledge of a woman or a man. And take David for instance, he was
said to be one who served God diligently.

OUR FORTH BIBLE WITNESS IS FROM PHILIPPIANS 2:1-12:

IF THERE BE THEREFORE ANY CONSOLATION IN CHRIST; IF ANY
COMFORT OF LOVE, IF ANY FELLOWSHIP OF THE SPIRIT, IF ANY BOWELS OF
MERCIES, FULFILL YE MY JOY, THAT YE BE LIKE MINDED, HAVING THE SAME
LOVE, BEING OF ONE ACCORD, OF ONE MIND....WHEREFORE, MY BELOVED, AS
YE HAVE ALWAYS OBEYED, NOT AS IN MY PRESENCE ONLY, BUT NOW MUCH
MORE IN MY ABSENCE, WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION WITH FEAR AND
TREMBLING.
AN IMPOSTOR IS UNACCEPTABLE IN BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND
STAR.
Have you seen what causes a prolonged story? What is read there is a story. It is the history
that follows a teaching which prolongs it and it is the practical side of the teaching. Whatever you
see here on the earth plane, do not think that it originates here. It is not from the plane. There is
nothing that is from this earth plane. Have you seen how God prepared Him, Christ, before His
coming? It is said in a local adage that the soil must be well prepared to have good yield. Have you
seen how Christ was born? WHEN HE IS REFERRED TO AS THE HOLY SON OF GOD, IS
IT BECAUSE EVEN HIS BIRTH TOOK PLACE IN A SEMINARY? NO. HE HAS NO
RELATIONSHIP WITH THE MUNDANE WORLD. He does not quarrel nor fight.
I told you repeatedly that when John the Baptist was asked if he was the expected one, he
denied outright. He rather told the people that he was merely the voice crying the wilderness, to
prepare the way. In your case, with your load of problems and earthly desire, you remain
here to cause trouble and confusion. Tomorrow after looting money from the treasury you
claim you are the Christ. Do you think I want such a person in this kingdom? Is he the holy
one of God? THE REQUIREMENT IS A HOLY PERSON ONE WHO IS WITHOUT
BLEMISH. It is not as a result of money, knowledge, or Father-son relationship. If Christ was
conceived through carnal relationship, WOULD HE BE CALLED THE HOLY SON OF
GOD? IF MARY HAD ANY CARNAL RELATIONSHIP BEFORE BEING CONCEIVED
WOULD HE CHRIST, HAVE BEEN THE EXPECTED ONE? WOULD WE HAVE
GOTTEN SALVATION? (Heave a sigh of relief).

GOLDEN TEXT: JOHN 13:34-35

 A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you,
that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have
love one to another.

GOD ALMIGHTY, THE KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORDS, HAS
ARRIVED:
It is said that the soil must be properly prepared before a good yield. From what is read to
you, have you seen how Christ was prepared? Now have you seen that we have been given a new
law? THE HOLY ONE HAS ARRIVED, GOD HAS ARRIVED. HAVE YOU SEEN HOW
GOD CAME INTO THE WORLD, IN A WAY THAT CONFOUNDS EVERYONE? The
glory which we have, is it through performing miracles, raising the dead or making the lame to
walk? Is it through preaching? Did the prophets of old not preach? BUT IT IS ONLY BECAUSE
HE IS THE HOLY ONE. HE IS IMMACULATE, A PERFECT ONE, SPOTLESS AND
COMPLETELY WITHOUT ANY BLEMISH. HE IS GOOD.
John the Baptist said a voice came to him through He who sent him to baptize people by
immersion and that whoever the Holy Spirit would descend upon, shall Himself baptize people
with the Holy Spirit. John the Baptist testified that he (John the Baptist) was a witness that Our
Lord Jesus Christ was the Son of God. Have you seen the wisdom of God? Was that not God
Himself? Did you know that? None had known this. If it were not so, He would not have been the
Perfect God and salvation would have eluded us. No salvation would have come to man. But now
we have a mixed- up of people everywhere. The salvation we have is not as a result of work, not of
wisdom, not from learning BUT GOD HIMSELF WHO HAS COME DOWN TO SAVE US
OUT OF MERCY, OUT OF LOVE AND OUT OF HIS GRACE. We should therefore
follow Him. Read our fifth bible witness.

FIFTH BIBLE WITNESS: LUKE 18:18-19

AND A CERTAIN RULER ASKED HIM SAYING, GOOD MASTER, WHAT SHALL I
DO TO INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE? AND JESUS SAID UNTO HIM; WHY CALLEST
THOU ME GOOD? NONE IS GOOD SAVE ONE, THAT IS, GOD.

WE HAVE ONLY ONE GOD, ONE KING, AND ONE PERFECT MASTER:
We are now heading towards the end of our journey. Is the kingdom of God two? Is God
two? Are the children of God two? God is an indivisible whole. If you were the one addressed as
Good Master would you not puff up by raising your shoulders high? Christ queried the young man,
“Why callest thou me good? None is good, save one, that is God."
Henceforth I am going to watch you closely to see if you call anyone GOD. Because
nowadays, you are given food to eat and you will eat to your satisfaction and pronounce the person
who gave you food as God. Many of you have as many as three different Gods. You even refer to
someone who gives you a car as God. We are very pitiful. How many Gods do we have in the
entire world? WE HAVE ONLY ONE GOD. THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD IN THE
ENTIRE WORLD. Are things now clear to you? Will you no longer call a man God, or refer to a
tree as God? You erroneously refer to someone who is intelligent or powerful, as God. If
someone is intelligent or powerful FROM WHERE DOES HE ACQUIRE HIS
INTELLIGENCE OR POWER? ARE ALL THESE GIFTS AND VIRTUES NOT FROM
GOD ALONE?
THE REAL NAME OF GOD IS GOOD BUT HE USES GOD TO CONFUSE THE
WORLD.(LUKE 18:18-19). Many necromancers, herbalists, native doctors have many gods as
well as different names for them. For example, Aristo-Krishna have their own gods whom they
feed, cloth, and render other services to.
THE TRUE NAME OF GOD WHICH IS GOOD, WHICH SIGNIFIES
PERFECTION AND NO IMPERFECTION SHALL ENTER THE KINGDOM OF
GOD.(LUKE 18:18-19). When you compare a worldly person with God, is your head correct? By
such comparison, you are insulting God. I am telling you this so that you do not hope that your
money or academic knowledge shall guarantee you success into the kingdom of God. Your
worldly possessions, the children you have will not guarantee you entry. The only criteria for
entry into God's kingdom is perfection. The way and manner you relate with one another,
your humility, if you do not cheat others, tell lies, if you do not challenge God nor equate
yourself with God, then you are saved. Other considerations cannot lead you into the kingdom
of God.
If you observed critically you would notice that so many people out of ignorance think that
they are superior to God, wealthier than God, more generous than God, and they finally conclude
by saying, “What is it that God does that they themselves cannot do?" SUCH IMPOSTORS
HAVE NO SHARE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD. BUT WHOEVER IS BORN OF THE
HOLY SPIRIT KNOWS THAT EVERYTHING IS IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH
BELONGS TO GOD. THEY ALSO KNOW THAT GOD IS EVERYTHING AND HE
ABIDES IN EVERYTHING. SUCH A PERSON DOES NOT ARROGATE TO HIMSELF,
THE STATUS OF GOD, NEITHER DOES HE EQUATE HIMSELF WITH GOD. HE
DOES NOT BOAST OR INSULT GOD, BUT HE SUBMITS HIMSELF TOTALLY
BEFORE GOD.
AN ILLUSTRATION:
I have given you this story several times about a certain man,(master) who bought and
owned a slave as his domestic servant. He decided to set him free by giving him the liberty to
operate on his own. This servant suddenly became rich and he also acquired and possessed a lot of
slaves, both males and females, cattle, landed properties, among many other possession. With the
acquisition of the great wealth, the man became arrogant, pompous, and full of pride. People who
witnessed his sudden transformation from the state of a slave boy to the status of a multimillionaire
started to boast that this man (the slave) was richer than his master. This rumor started spreading
like wild fire in the whole city till the slave's master heard about this. But he was able to comport
himself with dignity, without minding what his slave and the general public said about him. This
servant did not do anything to save the situation when he went about boasting to those who came to
listen to him that he was a slave but now he was richer than his master. When his master could not
bear the insult any longer, one day he summoned the whole community together and asked his
 slave to take stock of his wealth, before the people. The servant did this by counting all his assets
and liabilities one after the other. The crowd which had gathered to witness the occasion gave him
a standing ovation. As he continued counting his possessions he was interrupted intermittently
with cheers and applause from the crowd, until finally he finally finished his counting.
His master then stood up and without going too far concluded that all the wealth of his
slave, as already counted, plus the slave himself, belonged to him, the master. With that he
summed up his counting. After this, the servant slumped to the ground, while the cheering crowd
became silent, for they were all stunned.
This is the same situation in which we find ourselves. Whoever claims that he is God tell him
to count his wealth and to substantiate why he says he is God. Have you ever heard that any man is
God in this whole world? When you claim that Olumba Olumba Obu is God I look at you with
dismay. This is because your head is not correct. Is that what I teach you? You further ask why does
Olumba bow down and knock His forehead on the ground? The answer is why should I not bow
down? Am I God? We all bow down and worship the same one God. My focus is on Him because
a good child takes after his Father. Have you not seen how Our Lord Jesus Christ resembles God?
Through His behavior people know that He is from God. For if you love one another as I have loved
you, the whole world will know that you are the children of God. This is the only way you can be
called a child of God.
Brethren, at the end of every preaching Our Lord Jesus Christ often concluded by saying that,
