1 Data has been extracted from two source systems: Anite (pre-April 08) and NSPIS (April 08 onwards).

2 NSPIS is a live system which gets updated on a daily basis. Data from NSPIS was retrieved on 13/12/2010.

3 The 'First Arrest Offence' has been used a per usual PIB practice.

4 Custody data is only held from 01/01/2001 onwards.
