This year we also celebrated being featured as “Wellington’s Best School” in a widely read Wellington magazine
“FishHead”. This has been a wonderful opportunity for our school to profile its unique culture and educational
philosophy alongside reactivating our “illustrious alumni”.
It has been an extremely busy year alongside our successful building renovations and transition back from Cardinal
MacKeefry to CTMS at the end of term 2. We have also seen the introduction of National Standards which has
added another dimension to teaching and learning and student achievement.
We believe CTMS students are offered many rich learning experiences that support their social, emotional and
academic development. We are also well supported by our parent community and appreciate all the voluntary hours
parents are able to offer and make possible for our students to participate in these wonderful learning
opportunities. To our community we would like to say a big thank you!
We would also like to extend our thanks to our Board Chair Sharon Paine and our wonderful team of Board of
Trustees. Our Board have worked with a high level of commitment behind the scenes to effectively govern the
school and to ensure every child at CTMS receives a quality education. Next year we will also be welcoming a large
number of new families to CTMS next year. These students will enter homegroups across the school.
We look forward to a new school year in 2011 with many more exciting learning opportunities that will challenge and
excite our students to new levels of achievement.
