Mom, Dad, and their 1st grade son walk into the school for parent/teacher

conferences. Prior to arrival the mom and dad are talking in the front of the
car about how they are going to tell the teacher this and tell the teacher
that. They enter the school and the teacher begins to talk about the
behavior and grades of their son. The parents listen intently to the teacher
nodding in agreement that they may need to start helping their son out at
home some more. The teacher then asks if they have any questions and
the parents politely say no and verbally agree to start helping their son out
more at home. At this point the little boy speaks up and says, “But Mom,
you said in the car that if she would do her job then you wouldn’t have to
teach me at home!”
