EURASIA
With a geographic purview that includes the states of the former Soviet Union as well as Afghanistan and
Pakistan, Eurasia represents a multifaceted security environment characterized by energy politics and
conflict flashpoints. These regional dynamics contribute to the geostrategic importance and subsequent
market potential of this area. Eurasia serves as a convergence point for Russia’s assertive foreign policy,
growing Chinese influence, latent Islamic fundamentalism, and U.S. and European efforts to ensure access to
burgeoning energy markets. International Military Markets - Eurasia offers analytical depth to key decision-
makers seeking an understanding of the complex geopolitical and economic realities of these emerging
markets.

EUROPE
The European continent is gradually becoming enveloped within two shared constructs: the European Union
and the NATO Alliance. Both of these multinational structures seek a strategic partnership that provides
complementary security options. The need to secure energy sources has become of paramount concern to
European nations, and, as such, relations with Russia have taken on increased importance. Closer integration
of fighting forces, shared or pooled procurement, and national consolidation of defense industries are rising
trends.
Cross-border consolidation of the European defense industry looms as a future development. Forecast
International’s International Military Markets - Europe provides unparalleled analysis of these and other
emerging trends across the continent, as well as defense budget information for each individual country.
It also provides a Market Analysis on the continent as a whole, complete with five-year spending projections.

NORTH AMERICA
The United States represents the largest defense market in the world, with projected funding of more than
$700 billion in FY11. Yet the Pentagon now faces the immense task of carrying out costly modernization
and development programs amidst tightening budgets and rising personnel costs. The strategic and
budgetary implications of escalating the ground war in Afghanistan, maintaining 50,000 soldiers in Iraq,
and rebuilding forces that have returned from combat only serve to exacerbate these concerns. Meanwhile,
Canada and Mexico have their own ambitious procurement plans, though both face political, economic,
and strategic uncertainties that could threaten these acquisition efforts. International Military Markets
- North America provides critical insight into, and analysis of, these and other key issues and examines
how they will impact the massive North American defense market in the coming years. Also included are
detailed overviews of current defense spending, ongoing military programs, future requirements, and the
force structures of each country.

MISSILE FORECAST
Missile Forecast provides extensive coverage of the $106+ billion worldwide market for tactical and strategic missiles, both developmental and in
production. It includes programs under way in North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
The continuing uncertainty of national defense budgets has caused manufacturers to look to the export market to sustain the profitability of their
programs. Raytheon and MBDA are currently the top tactical missile firms, but smaller firms have managed to carve out respectable market shares.
Missile Forecast examines the forces behind a company’s dominance, identifies new market competitors, and traces the evolution of new products.
In addition to technical data and contractor information, the individual missile reports include a program review, recent news, funding charts,
worldwide sales data, and a 10-year market projection. Five Analyses (Strike, Air-to-Air, Anti-Ship, Surface-to-Air, and Anti-Tank) examine the
economic, financial, and political factors driving individual market segments.
Supplemental appendices direct the client to useful websites, provide a listing of the missiles acquired by operators worldwide, and offer
consolidated production statistics for a broad perspective on market activity.
For market researchers and industry officials alike, Missile Forecast is
an unrivaled source of objective market analysis.
