CIRCLE

Circle equation
What is circle?

v by diagram
v circle is the set of point that has
same distance from a fixed point.
v Fixed point is called Center of Circle.
v Same distance is called Radius.
Our objectives today:

 You should be able to arrange

circle equation with given the
center and the radius.

 You should be able to determine

the center or the radius from
given circle equation.
circle equation which having
center at origin point O (0,0)
and radius is r. By Pythagorean
Theorem we can
find the relation
between x, y and
r:

circle equation which

having center at
origin point O (0,0)

circle equation which having
center at point P (a,b) and
radius is r. By Pythagorean
Theorem we can
find the relation
between (x-α), (y-β)
and r:

circle equation which

having center at point
P (a,b) and radius is r.
