Project Details

Project: Human Resource Management

HRM-Package is a user-friendly, customized software package designed and developed for

Personnel and Human Resource Development Department of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. This
package acts as a complete computerized solution to their various departmental activities.

As a Oracle DBA, was responsible for the following:

ROLE

• Database administration of Production databases on IBM AIX platforms and Windows 2003
platforms.

• Allocating system storage & Planning for future storage requirements of the database

• Creation & administration of Database / Database Objects Monitoring performances of all

oracle instances in all Platforms.

• Space and resource Management.

• Porting database objects from one platforms to different platforms using Export/Import

• Planning on Transaction volumes and database size & its growth.

• Performed recoveries like table space Recovery, data file recovery

• Performance Tuning.

Environment: IBM-AIX, Oracle 9i/10g, PL/SQL and Developer 2000 (Forms 6i, Reports 6i)
 Project: MPAC (Material Provisioning Accounting and Control)

Material Provisioning and Control helps monitoring the material against availability and taking
corrective action like procurement etc. Computation of net requirement for the given task to
commence procurement action for bought out items and generation of stock fabrication requests
for fabricated items. Net requirement for Overhaul task is based on consumption pattern for the
previous year task

As a Oracle DBA, was responsible for the following:

A Sub module of integrated Production Planning & Control and Material Management System in a
diverse production environment. It is used for raising enquires to vendors based on material
purchase request. Capturing and evaluating the quotations received, printing Comparative
statements and raising purchase orders.

As a Programmer, was responsible for the following:

• Participated in Database Design and Creation

• Created Tables, Synonyms, Indexes, Sequences.

• Coding, Testing and Implementation of the module

• Created many PL/SQL back end procedures, Triggers and functions
