Dear SMS Parent Community,
Our new website is up and running! We hope you find its format and features
helpful in communicating events at SMS. In addition, we are working to add
to the website and embellish it as time goes on, so please do not hesitate to
provide us with your feedback. I wanted to thank our Webmaster, parent
Aboli Aphale, who spent countless hours creating the website. We are so
grateful that Ms. Aphale donated her expertise and time to this very important

season. Doing so will show that you value reading and will create a habit of Attachments:

Daylight Savings Time ended on the 7th, so hopefully you got one extra hour of sleep that weekend. On the 11th and 12th, we had a

wide activity to provide Thank You cDUGVIRUWKH+ROLGD\VWRRXUORFDO9HWHUDQ¶V+RPHV2QNovember 19th, we had our second school
wide dance party, Back To The Future: Part 2010, where we had people having fun dancing in our futuristic decorated gym, playing
air hockey in the multi, as well as going through our Space House to visit the many aliens hidden in the nooks and crannies of a
maze. Then there was Thanksgiving, where we got the 24 -28 off, another long weekend in November to enjoy.

Coming up in December we have our Renaissance ice cream for those gold and silver members out there, and our second
Spartan Citizen LXQFKHRQ2Q6SDUWDQ79ZH¶OOEHUXQQLQJRXUQRZ-traditional 12 Days of Christmas song where students try to
guess which teacher we are singing about. We also plan a food drive for the less fortunate. This year is zipping by fast, but it has
EHHQIXQDQGH[FLWLQJVRIDU,¶GOLNHWRWKDQNHYHU\RQHIRUWKHLURYHUZKHOPLQJVXSSRUWRIWKHPDJD]LQHGULYHDQGZKLOHWKHfinal total
is not available yet, we have surpassed our annual goal. Finally, I want to thank our PTSA for all the support and encouragement we
get. Thanks to all of you who have joined and those who are going to join to help support our school.
