Where’s Waldo? games
Everyone loves musical chairs,
duck, duck, goose, and pin the
tail on the donkey — so why not
give these traditional party games
a Where’s Waldo? twist? Play
a game of Pin the Glasses on
Waldo by drawing an outline of
Waldo on a large piece of paper,
minus his glasses, and putting
it on a wall. Then on a separate
piece of paper, draw Waldo’s
glasses, and cut them out (children
will need adult supervision).
With a blindfold, and a little spin,
the game can begin! Who can get
the glasses the closest to where
they belong?
A visit from Waldo
What better way to finish off an exciting
Waldo event than a visit from the eye-
boggling star himself? The Where’s Waldo?
costume—including hat, glasses, and striped
sweater — can be reserved free of charge by
e-mailing waldocostume@candlewick.com.

Where’s Waldo? The Great Picture Hunt! is
set in an art gallery, so why not make works
of art using the coloring and activity sheets
provided? Make it a competition and see
who can come up with the best picture of
Waldo or the most amazing Waldo scene.
Go on a Where’s
Waldo? hunt
Trying to find Waldo is great fun!
Hide a picture of Waldo in a room
and, after a count of three, let the
search begin. The first person to find
Waldo’s hiding place is the winner.
Or you could organize a game of
hide-and-seek — one of Waldo’s
favorite games!
Where’s Waldo?
Wordathon
Waldo, Wenda, Woof, Wizard
Whitebeard . . . Waldo’s world is
built around the letter W. Using
a timer or stopwatch, give each
competitor a set time limit (thirty
or sixty seconds will do). The
aim is to think of as many differ-
ent words beginning with W as
possible in the given time— the
winner is the person who comes
up with the most!
Where’s
Waldo? race
Using a scene from one
of the Where’s Waldo?
books, get two or more
challengers ready — and
after the count of three,
let the race begin! The
winner is the person
who spots Waldo first.
