1.0 Executive Summary

In summary, this report articulates a commitment on the part of the


developer, Rapido Media, to provide training material which conforms
to the client’s requirements, including both wants and needs, as
declared in the brief tendered, and in accordance with the accepted
timeframe.

2.0 Client requirements

The client needs the product to:

Adhere to their pre-existing brand style-guide.

Portray a professional, dynamic and welcoming image.

Include a narrated video tour of the fitness Centre, detailing exercise


equipment categories.

Provide Instruction on Fitness Centre rules and include scenario-


based training, allowing patrons to test learned information.

Images of the arm muscle group and a quiz for testing knowledge of
equipment used to exercise specific muscles within the group.

The client wants the product to:

Enhance patron’s experience of the facility and help them safely


maximise intended fitness goals.

Increase overall efficiency and membership satisfaction.

3.0 Target Audience

The target audience encompasses all potential fitness centre patrons,


including students, staff and visitors to Randwick Campus.

This comprises young adults through to seniors.

4.0 Project Objectives

To provide the client, Sydney Institute Fitness Centre, with interactive


training material in optical disc format, which adheres to the project
brief and style-guide, and which effectively imparts safe and correct
use of the facility by patrons.

4.0 Product Concept

The proposed product is to be presented as a website interface, with


HTML, Flash and Javascript components. Adhering to the pre-existing
style guide it will be an interactive instructional introduction to fitness
centre membership and proper use of centre equipment, and include
all information and functionality as required by the client and
outlined in the brief.
