the plant.

# Guide managers and employees on problem solving, dispute resolution, regulator
y compliance and litigation avoidance.
# Ensure proper implementation of the performance management system and provide
the necessary facilitation and support in that exercise.
# Facilitate implementation of appropriate change management and succession plan
ning initiatives associated with organizational development activities.
# Recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive emplo
yer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motiva
tion.
# Handle staffing needs at the plant site for both technical and non-technical p
ositions.
# Attend to employees? inquiries on compensation & benefits.
# Facilitate implementation of appropriate change management initiatives associa
ted with organizational transition activities.
# Support the goal of establishing the human capital of the organization as a cr
itical component in accomplishing business goals.
# Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary HR practice and provide suita
ble interpretation to directors, managers and staff within the organization.
# Guide managers and employees on problem solving, dispute resolution, regulator
y compliance and litigation avoidance.
# Provide expertise in strategy development and execution, planning, and facilit
ation of employee relations efforts.
# Conduct needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee j
ob performance and overall company performance.

# Create a strong/positive climate and maintain high level morale via all neces
sary communication and animation tools
# Develop and encourage internal communication; create network and maintain good
relationship within the plant, adapting communication tools to each one; help t
he Plant Manager in internal communication actions
# Develop external communication: create and maintain relationship with the comm
unity and promote Lafarge?s image by participating to local events/initiatives
