WITHOUT A PESTICIDE LICENSE

When Paul Tukey was talking to a radio interviewer about his lawn
care business, he admitted to spraying pest control products WITH-
OUT A LICENSE for SEVERAL YEARS until he was APPREHENDED by local
authorities. This is what he said on March 5 th , 2010 ...

I actually owned my own lawn care company. I spray ed for a

couple of years just unabatedly WITHOUT A LICENCE , and I got
FINED by the Maine Board of Pesticide Control.

So I ... with my tail between my legs ... I went and got my

pesticide applicator licences.

For the next three years, I sprayed about 800 lawns a year my-
self.

I made more money than I’ve ever made any year since ...

... and wound up [ allegedly ] in the hospital with something

called acute chemical sensitivity from a multiple chemical sen-
sitivity. [ ?!?!?! ]

And it was ... the doctor [ allegedly ] said basically if you

keep using all of those lawn chemicals, you are going to be
dead. [ ?!?!?! ]

I got out of that business, and I’ve been looking for alternative
solutions ever since.
