ASSESSMENT TASK

e
This section includes:
• General information about assessment
• The assessment task for this unit
• A copy of the template your tutor will use to assess your work.

pl
If you have any concerns about the assessment process or do not think that you have
been assessed fairly, please refer to your tutor.

General Information about Assessment

This unit is part of a nationally recognised training package qualification. This means that
in order to be awarded qualification you need to complete an assessment task that shows
m
that you have achieved the performance criteria for the unit. If you have any questions
about the assessment please contact one of the tutors. We are here to help you.

Readings for assessment

Assessment is part of the learning experience. The resource materials are an important
part of this experience and tutors will be seeking evidence of your reading in your
answers. Tutors will also look for evidence of your ability to reflect on the readings and
Sa

to test the concepts against the reality of your workplace.

It is also important that you address the performance criteria. This means that you
should familiarise yourself with the performance criteria for the unit before you begin
and spend some time considering these in terms of the assessment questions. This will
help you to focus on the required elements.

Your assessment work will be competed on task sheets provided in this workbook.

You will need to consider referencing and layout in your assessment.
