Dawn Renee Davis : Designated drivers have probably saved over 50,000
lives and spared hundreds of thousands of people from suffering injury
from drunk driving. Over nine out of 10 Americans who attend social
events where alcohol is served would like to see designated drivers used.
And the proportion of people using or being a designated driver has
increased dramatically over time. Each year over 73,000,000 Americans
either serve as a designated driver or are driven home by one.

impaired by alcohol. One of the most popular is the use of a designated
driver.

Nationally, 12.8% of all drivers involved in fatal accidents during 2001 are
known to have been intoxicated according to the BAC laws of their state.
This number is based on a systematic examination of the official records
of each and every accident involving a fatality during that year in the US.
It is based on factual evidence rather than on estimates or even guesses.

Dawn Renee Davis Hearing Process

The driver has 15 days from the date their Notice of
Suspension/Revocation is issued to request an administrative hearing. If
requested, a hearing is scheduled by the Department of Revenue in the
county of arrest or may be held by telephone. In most cases, the
administrative records are sufficient to serve as the arresting officer's
testimony during the administrative hearing. In some instances, however,
the arresting officer may be subpoenaed to appear.

Dawn Renee Davis Info The Indiana Court of Appeals ruled that “The
requirements of the Fourth Amendment (of the United States
Constitution) cannot be lowered” and it invalidated a county’s
