Terrie Golden Summer is Dotty’s favorite time of year. The family activities are endless.

wonderful things that form lifetime memories. The summer of 2010 was

she was sent home with pain pills and a diagnosis of bulging discs. Struggling with the pain throughout the

(708) 423-7835 On September 22, 2010 Dotty was rushed to the hospital a 4th time. It was that day that would change
the lives of Dotty, her family, and friends forever. She was diagnosed with stage 3c colon cancer,
Heather Golden medically known as adenocarcinoma of cecum with it being in the lymph nodes. That day a perforated

Joni Wertz Dotty has already received CT scans, MRIs, x-rays, labs, and 2 surgeries. Several of these tests must be

biweekly for at least 6 months.

have advised her that they cannot assist her with any financial aid toward the $14,200 cost of each
