The disease Tuberculosis (TB) is a chronic disease / chronic (long) and transmitted.
The disease can be suffered by any person, but most frequently attacks people
aged between 15 - 35 years, especially those who was weak, malnourished or living
one's house and crowded with people with TB.
TB disease of lung can be cured. However, due to insensitivity of the patients and
the lack of information regarding prevention and treatment of TB, death was not
uncommon. Therefore, early action is needed to prevent and treat TB disease.
1. Cough for more than four-weeks. Treatment usually performed as usual could
not relieve cough frequency.
2. Chronic cough and mucus, especially when waking up.
3. Mild heat (sumeng-sumeng) in the afternoon and night sweats.
4. There are a pain in the chest or upper back.
5. Weight loss and body grew weaker in recent years respectively.
6. In children can often be palpated in the right or left edge of a lump (swelling of
the glands).
C. If you suspect you are suffering from tuberculosis, what should be done?
1. Ask your doctor, clinic, or ask for explanations to the community health worker
in your area. Do not be shy to ask in detail your medical condition. These will
provide medical drugs are sufficient to eliminate TB in your body.
2. Keep your food intake as possible. Many eating foods rich in protein and
vitamins.
3. Rest with balance. Try to spend a little time to rest when tired at work.
4. Discipline takes medication prescribed by a doctor.
1. We recommend that you check all family members to see if there are infected.
2. Children should be given a TB vaccine.
3. Patients who expressed contracted TB medical officer, must eat, drink, and
sleep apart from another family member.
4. TB patients should be careful and always close the mouth when coughing and
occasionally do not spit everywhere.
5. Bring your children immediately if any symptoms of tuberculosis.
6. Treatment must be done and routine.
