The Committee of the Regions was nonetheless requested to inform Parliament’s Committee on Budgets,

9. Order of business

The next item was the order of business.

The President announced that the final draft agenda for the November I and November II 2000 sittings
had been distributed (PE 297.736 /PDOJ) and that a number of changes had been proposed (Rule 111):

C The President announced that she had received two requests concerning the Ceyhun report
(A5-0315/2000) (Item 7 of the final draft agenda):
from the PSE Group, to refer the report back to committee (Rule 144) and
from the Verts/ALE Group, to postpone consideration of the report to a later part-session.
The following spoke on the first request: Ceyhun, rapporteur, who moved the request on
behalf of the PSE Group, Hautala who, on behalf of the Verts/ALE Group, withdrew the
second request, and Speroni.
Parliament approved the request for referral back to committee.

 Tuesday 14 November
C The Council had informed Parliament that it did not wish to make a statement on the third
Asia-Europe meeting (Item 75); only the Commission therefore would be making a statement
on this subject.
On a proposal by the President, this item was placed after the joint debate on aid for recon-
struction (Items 16, 17 and 18).
