Remarks:
Red cells show slight anisocytosis and poikilocytosis.
Platelets are adequate.
Clinical Chemistry
Imaging Information: Focal fatty infiltration with coarsened parenchyma, contracted gall
bladder, splenomegaly, low-normal sized right kidney and status post hysterectomy in the
previous whole abdomen UTZ dated July 13, 2010.
Findings:
The right lobe of the liver is contracted while the left lobe is mildly enlarged. It has
lobulated external contour with heterogeneous echotexture. The spleen is enlarged with a
ssplenic indez of 521 (previously 596). The pancreas is normal in size with homogeneous
parenchymal echogenicity. No focal masses are seen. Intrahepatic ducks are not dilated.
Common bile duct measures 0.47cm.
The right kidney is contracted while the left kidney is normal in size. Right kidney
measures 8.71x4.45x3.99cm with cortical thickness of 0.62cm while the left kidney
measures 9.1x3.68x4.02cm with cortical thickness of 0.88cm. Central echo complex in
both sides are intact with no evidence of hydronephrosis. No renal mass or calculi.
Cortices are normal in thickness and echogenicity. Tiny high-level echoes in the lower
pole of the left kidney are seen.
