Re-registration (RR)

This form should be completed by applicants wishing to re-register to attempt the ACCA Qualification or the Mature Student Entry
Route (MSER) (within the four consecutive sessions allowed for completion). MSER candidates who have obtained additional
qualifications since leaving the register will be automatically considered for transfer to attempt the ACCA Qualification.

Professional Ethics Module


All students re-registering on the ACCA Qualification after January 2007 are required to complete the Professional Ethics Module
which can be accessed via myACCA when students are eligible for Paper P1, Professional Accountant. Further information on the
Professional Ethics module can be viewed on the ACCA website at www.accaglobal.com/students/acca/ethics.

Joint examination schemes


ACCA operates joint examination schemes with the local accountancy bodies in the following countries:
Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Cambodia, Cyprus, Greece, Guyana, Jamaica, Lesotho, Malawi, Malta, Sierra Leone, Singapore,
Swaziland, Trinidad and Tobago, Vietnam and Zambia.

If you are resident in any of these countries and wish to re-register, you are required to complete the appropriate joint examination
scheme re-registration form.

You should NOT complete this form if you are:


• registering with ACCA for the first time to attempt the ACCA Qualification/MSER, Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) or Diploma
in Financial Management (DipFM) exams. You are required to complete the initial registration form (IR), (TR) or (D1) respectively;
• re-registering with ACCA to attempt the CAT or DipFM exams. You are required to complete a re-registration form (RR/TR) or (D2).

Closing dates
If you wish to register for the June exam session, ACCA must receive your application by 31 December.
If you wish to register for the December exam session, ACCA must receive your application by 15 August.

Please ensure ACCA receives your application by the above closing dates and remember to allow time for postal delivery. We advise
you to check with your local postal delivery service to find out about postal delivery times to the UK or visit the ACCA website www.
accaglobal.com for guidance.

STUDENT PORTAL
If your name was removed from our files during the last three years, after your re-registration form has been processed your previous
registration number and passcode will remain the same. You can use this to access the online student portal section of the website
to ensure that your application has been processed. When the record has been activated you can then enter for the exams, make
payments and update your personal details without having to wait for official confirmation of re-registration to arrive in the post.
Please note that tuition should not be sought until your re-registration is complete. Exam entry forms are automatically despatched to
all eligible candidates in February and August for the June and December exams respectively. You will also receive electronically your
students’ newsletter student accountant. Where possible, please include your previous registration number and registration date.

4 Practical experience requirements


All ACCA trainees must keep a record of their practical work experience and make an annual return to ACCA which details their
achievement. To record your experience and make your annual return you will have access to a personalised trainee development
matrix (TDM) and services online. You should start recording your work experience as soon as possible so that you receive full credit for
