Foundation Basis Bearing Simulation Report

1. Introduction
Huawei smart transformer station is a prefabricated station with transformer, LV panel and MV switchgear
inside 20’ HC container. Huawei STS offers STS-6000K and STS-2500K for Huawei SUN2000-(90-
105)KTL inverters and offers STS-6000K-H1 and STS-3000K-H1 for Huawei SUN2000-185KTL-H1
inverters.
STS-6000K and STS-6000K-H1 are both ≤ 23 t, and STS-2500K and STS-3000K-H1 are both ≤ 18t.
Hereby we adopts the bigger STS STS-6000K for the foundation basis bearing simulation based on
ANSYS R18.0.

2. Elements Self-weight
STS-6000K is prefabricated with transformer, MV switchgear, LV panel, auxiliary distribution box, auxiliary
transformer inside 20’ HC container. And for STS-6000K, the SACU and UPS can be hang out on the MV wall
of the container. So for the self-weight we adopt the weight of the STS 24t.

Then based on the ANSYS simulation, the foundation basis bearing of the six points of the STS are listed
as below:

3. Variable Loads
3.1 Snow Loads
According to global achievement of Huawei STS, hereby we adopts the harsh scenario for
simulation, and consider 4.2 kPa snow load on top of STS.
3.2 Wind Loads
According to global achievement of Huawei STS, hereby we adopts the harsh scenario for
simulation and consider 52.4 m/s wind loads from the direct long side of STS container.
