(b) How exactly would you find this information? [3]

Answer # 1 (a)

In my point of view I’d say that yes English and Chinese should be kept as a default or base language for
companies having a website because English and Chinese are the most common languages which are
used while trading locally or internationally, trading goods which are supplied by China and imported
into different countries are also dealt with Chinese dealers so English and Chinese as base languages can
improve trade retention and customer interaction.

Answer # 1 (b)

Picture # 2 being in regard, I’d like to explain that people who are living in our generation, because of
technology and social advancement have to stay up to date with the latest trends and fashion modules.
For example a person of 1980’s who’s living in our generation would not be able to co-op up with the
current society until and unless the person knows the updated vocabulary or trends, and will be
probably defamed for being ‘old’.

Causes:

Causes of old grammar being deprecated is because of the technological advancement and teenagers
evaluating themselves superior to the old people and disregarding the values and culture. Old people
have to learn to adapt to the latest society and trends to keep up with their fellows and teach their
children to keep themselves up to date.

Consequences:

Consequences of trying to keep yourself updated with the society has major drawbacks like you and
mostly your young generation forgets the values and culture of families, new language brings in new
sets of moods and new vocabulary brings in new slangs and cursive words which are then used by
teenagers, perhaps destroying the initial value of traditional language.
Answer # 2 (a)

The information that I need to explain this chart of statistics is the origin where the people are browsing
the World Wide Web from and the age span of the users. This information would help me to explain
these statistics by letting me know the origin so I would be able to evaluate in which countries the
language is being used and the age group which would help me to find out what type of websites are
being accessed in a specific language. For example English and Chinese is the most used language on the
World Wide Web which is common and everybody knows that because it is these languages are often
used on websites which are trade related. Most internet users originate from Chinese territories.
“China's internet population just passed a major milestone. According to the Chinese government, 802
million people are now actively using the internet, 57.7 percent of the population. The data was published
by the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) which is a branch of the country's Ministry of
Industry and Information. By comparison, the United States has an estimated 300 million internet users.”

Answer # 2 (b)

To find this information I would need to evaluate the amount of website users, age group, and type of
searches ran across the search engine channel on the web. This information would help me explain the
chart of statistics.
