4.1 Introductory Activity Right now, students had already decided the topic that they want to study, but
somehow, they do not know how to conduct their study.
Open the floor to critically engage the students to think on the following questions:
1. What procedures will you adopt to obtain answers to research questions?
2. How will you carry out the tasks needed to complete the different components
of the research process?
10 minutes
3. What should you do and not do in the process of undertaking the study?

Randomly call 3 groups and let them share their own answer to the questions above.

Reporting Activity

1. Divide the whole class into 3 groups and give each group hand-outs.
2. Let each read the hand-outs and assign each group 1 Quantitative Research
Design, give them 10 mins.
3. Let each group discuss to their members the Quantitative Research Design
assigned to them.
4. Give each group to be involve in the topic and provide them a chance to build
their own understanding.

5. Discuss to the students what Descriptive Research Design is and its sub-types.

45 minutes
6. Discuss to the students what Correlation Research Design is and its sub-types.

7. Discuss to the students what Descriptive Research Design is and its sub-types.
8. Open the floor for every question and clear all doubts as each group present
their report.
