I. OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, the learners should be able to;
1. describe and define the term sandwich,
2. classify the type of sandwiches,
3. appreciate certain types of sandwiches,
4. prepare sandwiches independently.

e. Motivation
To start our day great, we will be playing a
game entitled “Ibigay mo na!” Are you
familiar with Showtime segment, Miss Q and
A? We will be playing that game. There will
be 5 players in the class. Different categories
will be given and each player should name a (Students will perform the
thing under that category without repetition of activity)
answers. The player who will fail to give the
correct answer or can’t give an answer will be
eliminated. The player who will last ‘till the
end of the game will be the winner. Players
will be determined by looking underneath
your seats. Those who can find green papers
with number will be our players.
B. DEVELOPMENTAL ACTIVITIES

Sandwiches are part of our everyday lives, but
do we really know what makes a sandwich a

It is also called a toasted sandwich. It is a


simple sandwich that is buttered on the outside
and browned on the griddle, in a hot oven.

d. Application
Go to your respective group and do the
activity. The 5 groups will make a cold open-
faced sandwich. Each group will use different
spread that are assigned to them. And for the
toppings, use the food you will see inside the
given plastic container. The group 1 will use
butter. The group 2 will use cheese. The group
3 will use mayonnaise. The group 4 will use
chocolate and group 5 will use peanut butter.
